This is our go to Thai restaurant because it is convenient, the food is decent and the price is right for being local enough for us to call in an order and pick it up. Can’t say much about dining in as I’ve only dined in once. Each time I have ordered here I always manage to order the garlic wings(they come with fries) and enjoy myself each time. especially with an order of rice. Can’t say too much about the the rest of the menu.

Everything I have tried here is delicious. Their wings with fries are surprisingly really good here.

I reserved this place for my 21st birthday a year ago. When I did the reservations for the first time, I didn’t really understand one of the workers.

Bad food — Pathetic Service — Bad Experience(not once but twice)… I hope not to return to this place. We went here for lunch on a weekend — the rice and sauté vegetable were evidently stale and cooked probably couple days ago. Pls the Malaysian curry smelled really bad, and when we said this doesn’t smell good and can you take it away the waitress literally started behaving like an obnoxious person. But this was not the first time. We experienced exactly same bad service months when we came and ordered soup & fried rice. Waitress got entrée before starters, and when we said we were hoping for soup to begin things she left the rice on table and let it cool down till she got soup from inside after at least 7−10mins. Never again, I say & hope.

Food is great-4 stars! But had to deduct a star due to lack of service. Only one waitress to tend to all the tables. There were only 3 other parties but for one person to wait on all 4 tables, service was indeed lacking. I saw a group of 3 women pick up their order(which they obviously called in ahead of time) and eat at an empty table. Apparently they already knew that service would be non existent. I would definitely call ahead and place an order if you want timely service. I checked in and got 6 free wings(when you buy a 10 pc) as advertised-YaY! Crab fried rice was lacking crab, I could hardly taste any much less find any pieces in the dish. Shrimp pad thai was excellent as was the chicken Panang Curry. Also had a fish dish that was served wrapped in foil and that was surprisingly yummy. It was the suggestion of our waitress and did not disappoint. I frequent many Thai restaurants and I would say this place definitely had dishes leaning to Thai inspired dishes rather than Cambodia. Food is spicy so let your server know how spicy-or not spicy-you want your dish. All in all, I would come here again if I had time to kill and don’t mind waiting or if I were to call ahead. Please employ more staff! Your food is great but service will deter foodies from coming here!

The chicken wing platter is so good(and I don’t even like wings that much). Beware — their spice scale is not for the feint of heart — I ordered a 4 out of 5 on their spice scale and steam was coming out of my ears! Hurts so good. There is literally one lady serving the entire restaurant, so things can get a little hectic, especially at lunch time. All in all, great food!

Zero Star! Just went to this place 5 min. ago, not a single customer yet. My 2 yr old daughter started to pull a chair and of course as a parent, we stopped her coz we have to be seated first. Then this lady approached us and ask«How many?» We told her 5. I guess she didn’t hear us, she sounded upset and said«i already ask you and you dont answer!» What a very rude lady!!! We are never gonna go back to this place!!! Piece of sh???

I’ve been in this place so many times. Food is delicious, but today was the most disappointed experience we had. We arrive an waited for 30 min and no one came to our table. I approach to the bar and told the waitresses we were ready to order and still she was working on something else. By the way there was only one single table occupied with 6 people and us. Party of 5. Thats it! We decided to leave and two employees escorted us out saying: sorry we are bussy, good bye!

Not thai food, nor is it Cambodian. Just plain ‘meh’. They charged us 18% gratuity for 4 people. Food is not worth the price they charge. Skip this place.

I don’t want to knock this restaurant too badly, as the lady who was waiting on EVERYSINGLESEATEDTABLE was working her ass off to ensure people were served as quickly as possible. That said, the pace of service was so detrimentally impacted by having a single person attempt to serve 8 – 10 tables, that it made the experience mediocre at best. The Thai tea was good, the Chicken Pad Thai was average, and the dumplings(when they finally came after my Pad Thai) were yummy. While I’d love to give this place another shot, the amount of time it took me to get a meal will have me rethinking it. That said, the food was good… Just expect a wait.

Honestly… my fingers are itching to give this place 1 or 2 stars so that management can see my review and get a clue. Food is awesome. I have no complaints. I live practically next door and had this as my last meal before having my baby! I LOVE the food and I want to bring you my business, dear Thaibodia! Owners/Managers: Please hire more people to help out. There have been too many occasions where your poor staff of a whopping 1 or 2 persons at best, are running around trying to serve HUGE groups of people.(including me!) We always get our food first, drink orders last and have to literally corner a waitress to bring us our check and to-go boxes. I almost feel bad coming here because I know it’s hell for your employee. That is not a good business model to have!

There’s nothing Cambodian nor Thai about this place. The food is very bland, lacking spices and rich flavors. As a Cambodian American in Santa Clara, I often either had to drive to Oakland or Stockton California for awesome Cambodian food. However, since thaibodia was in our neck of the woods, we decided to give it try, once more. Last time, everything we ordered was tasteless and bland. From the soups to the main dishes. But since then, we noticed they can get busy at times, so we figured, perhaps, it’s better now. However, it’s a still a total disappointment. There is nothing Cambodian on the menu. Just similar to what you’ll find at any Thai restaurants. But the Thai options were still stale and bland, lacking flavor. It can get busy with non Asian diners. Perhaps they probably don’t know the differences between what’s being served at thaibodia and real authentic southeast Asian foods. Oh well, we will continue traveling for now. Good luck thaibodia!

I had dinner on Sept. 30th and ordered the PADTHAI, the food is not good, it seems to be that it’s all sugar in the sauce insted of peanut sauce. I had to ask for a chopstick and the waitress had to get the order first from other customers, i waited fro my chopstick for over 5 minutes. She just ignored my requests. The bathroom had NOSUPPLIES, no paper towel, no hand soap, the faucet was not clean, it looks awful, the water marks was so awful., it seems no one is cleaning the restroom. I have to call them for no hand soap and it took over 10 minutes to fill it up, the hand soap is not working either and I have to keep pushing the lever to dislodge the soap. I asked the waitress that I would like to talk to the owner and she said the owner is not available. oh yahhhhhhhhhh? Food, service and the ambience of the restaurant was not GOOD, it’s so bad to dine in a restaurant which was not properly look at. I left a message to the owner and the person did not return the call… NEVER.

Wow, great portions for the price-I got a huge plate of chicken pad thai for $ 8.95! Plus, lunch specials come with a small bowl of soup and a small plate of salad(+rice if it’s a curry plate). The service was okay and the dining area was fairly nice-nothing superb!

OHHH what a letdown. Disappointment and regret in every bite. My favorite south bay thai place is Dusita a block away. Tried Thaibodia for the heck of it. Worst decision of the month. Korean spicy doesn’t compare to indian or thai spicy so I know to go mild if I’m not hankerin for a major burn. But hey listen, mild spiciness doesn’t mean no flavor. Dusita packs in max nuanced flavor even at min fieriness. What I got here by comparison was nondescript… cardboard… –Chicken pad kee mao–«if I suck on the noodles real hard, I feel like I can taste a hint of something» 3⁄5 –Shrimp pad thai-«varies between kinda funky and kinda too sweet» 2⁄5 I wished I had some cumin so I could slather it over everything. Or tabasco. Something to save me from the mindnumbing blandness. The dark room suited my mood. +To be fair, they were generous with shrimp and chicken portions. They didn’t do the«2 pieces of shrimp over noodles=shrimp pad thai» thing, so for that, I’m grateful. Thai iced tea wasn’t a disaster. It takes a lot for me to consider it a chore to eat something, so props there too, Thaibodia! Never so regretted putting down $ 25 for a meal. Missing my Dusita. Never leaving you again.

My first experience here was most definitely a great one. Not only was the customer service on point, but the food was of superb quality as well. I will probably be returning to this restaurant very soon whenever I crave Thai food and will not hesitate to tell my friends about this restaurant as well. Some of the dishes that we ordered include: Pad Thai: Super delicious and flavorful. I’m very picky with my Pad Thai and can tell the difference between authentic Pad Thai and a dish that tries to imitate the true flavors of Pad Thai. Fried Calamari: This appetizer was SO good that after we devoured the first plate, we had to order a second one. I’m not kidding. It’s that good to the point where it’s addicting, and we just weren’t too satisfied with just one calamari dish. These calamari pieces are fried to crisp perfection and come with a sweet, delicious dipping sauce. Duck Curry — Absolutely delicious and tasty! Tastes great with a bowl of white rice and is definitely a satisfying entrée to try. Chicken Satay — I wouldn’t really recommend this dish because I’ve had better Chicken Satays elsewhere. Usually, I would down a Chicken Satay dish if I was that hooked on it, but this place wasn’t doing it for me. Garlic Chicken Wings — You’ll see these broadcasted in the beginning of the menu because they are that popular. They have several flavors, but we decided to go with the garlic chicken wing because we also wanted fries in our entrée! The fries and wings were delicious and my family devoured this entrée. Recommended for a big party to share! Also, in terms of customer service, our waitress was super nice and always went over to our table repeatedly asking if we needed anything. She was also very attentive when filling up our waters and makes this restaurant deserve the 5 stars it deserves.

Dinner crowd is not particularly plenty, but the food delivered was very flavorful and a bit of an adventure. We started our meal off with the crispy wraps — it came with 7 pieces and was very delicious and fresh out of the deep fryer. The shrimp was juicy, crisp, and wrapped neatly in an egg roll wrapper. For our entrees, we shared the Mongolian curry, Hor Mok(with rock cod), and Salaw Machou Ktis. We were definitely fans of the Hor Mok and Salaw Machou Ktis. The latter was light and flavorful. The lemongrass was not too strong and the pineapple provided a neat, sweet foil. As for the Hor Mok, the rod cod was nice and flaky. I could have probably had this alone with rice. We found the Mongolian curry to be a little salty, but it’s probably because we were a little overwhelmed by the amount of spice. We also tried Chan Pad Poo… it was not particularly spicy, but did live up to its description — plenty of shredded crab tossed with the noodles. Honestly though, the best part of my meal was probably the fresh coconut juice… served up in a real coconut! After I drank the juice, you best be sure I scraped the meat out to eat — yummy!

THAIANDCAMBODIANFOOD?! INTHESAMEVENUE?! SURE, WHYNOT! The significant other decided to take me here for the first time last week since he knows I love Thai food. VENUE: This quaint, unpretentious restaurant is conveniently located at a food plaza along El Camino with plenty of available parking slots. Please note, that the parking lot itself can look a bit sketch as there are some non-lit areas. When you walk into the restaurant, you will immediately wonder why it isn’t as pretty on the outside as it is inside. Total hole in the wall! The floor and walls are decked out in a beautiful wood finish, and the place gives out a very welcoming, home-like, thematic element to it which I found very appealing. FOOD: We ordered: Tom Yum Soup A sour & spicy soup with mushrooms, tomatoes, lemongrass, galanga, kaffir lime leaves, lime juice, cilantro and Thai chilis. Chicken, pork, or veggie tofu. I requested for my soup to be SPICY, and that it was. The array of spices blended perfectly with the broth, producing this enormous burst of spice serving after serving. There was a plentiful amount of greens, basil, and green/red peppers, sadly, moreso than tofu, which completed the dish and made it very healthy. Garlic Pepper Chicken Wings (which is unfortunately not on the Menu yet as they haven’t updated it, or so the waiter says: ). The chicken wings were fresh to order and the meat was tender and fell right off the bone. The outer skin of each wing was amazingly tasty, invigorating hints of sweet, spicy, and a tad bit of salt to add effect. The serving size for this appetizer, in particular, was large, guaranteed to suit a party of 2 – 3 people. I highly recommend trying out this appetizer! Basil Bamboo(spicy) Sauteed with bamboo shoots, fresh basil leaves, yellow onions, tomatoes, bell peppers and a red curry paste. This dish is not for the faint-of-heart. If you cannot deal with spice, I do not suggest ordering this as it will be difficult to consume due of the strength of the spices. Try ordering mild or medium then request for additional spices if need be. You cannot level down a spice once it has been sauteed. The basil, yellow onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers blended together perfectly, which awakened all of my taste buds. You can almost taste each flavoring that has been added in! I highly suggest giving this a try if you’re feeling adventurous. and Yellow Curry(spicy) Yellow curry with coconut milk, yellow onions, potatoes, carrots, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, turmeric and cumin. The significant had ordered this in mild spice which was very subtle compared to what I had ordered. The meat was not at all tasteless though, as it absorbed the hints of flavors that were in the curry sauce. I don’t believe, though, that this dish was«out-of-this-world» good. It seemed like a normal dish which was a bit on the pricey side,($ 9.95 for Chicken, Pork, or Vegetable Tofu; $ 11.95 for Shrimp, Squid, Rock Cod, or Beef; or $ 14.95 for Salmon, Mixed Seafood, or Lamb), in which you can order elsewhere for a lesser price. Now, I specifically ordered tofu with my Tom Yum Soup, and I was rather disappointed to only see a handful of tofu in it. I could literaly count how many tofu was in my soup(5 to be exact). *sigh sigh sigh* This was in replacement of beef or chicken, so you can only imagine how unsatisfying this was for me. On the upside, my hot tea was served to me in this adorable porcelain elephant shaped tea pot. Would I go back? Maybeeee yes, but this time, request for additional tofu so I can get the most out of my Tom Yum next time.
