Can’t believe this place is still in business. No kids menu items so was told to order a «slim» which is only mean and cheese. Asked for a little lettuce put on it, was told it is «meat and cheese only» nothing else. So I asked for some of the lettuce from my regular sandwich to be put on it for my son, was told«we are not allowed to do this», really??? so weird, not asking for anything additional… Then after a 20 minute wait for 2 sandwiches to go, they were put on the counter no bag or anything, I said can I have a bag? and they said they are over there… self service I guess . At the to go counter there is a large sign that says«Don’t forget the pickle!» Wow thanks for the reminder, so I asked for a pickle and they said, «sorry, those are extra»… While I was there another party asked for their money back because they had waited so long. And another customer who had paid for the pickle asked for a knife to cut it and was told they do not have any. Definitely will not go back and wont be surprised next time I am at that shopping center to see it gone…

The workers are rude. The food is over priced nasty dry sandwiches go to subway half the price way better. These sandwiches taste like cold hot dogs.

Food is ok. Service staff are friendly. Very pricy for dinky sandwiches compared to Jersey Mike’s. Ok place for once in a while. I ordered a BLT. The bacon wasn’t cooked all the way. Kind of chewy not crispy. J Mike’s is way better!

I explored this place for lunch today and ended up regretting it. I ordered an all veggie sub with avocado, but the lettuce wrap version for $ 6.99. I was told it would be a longer wait due to rush hour lunch. I got no receipt and waited 20 mins for my sandwich while they called out random order numbers and everyone had to figure out if that was their order or someone else’s. What I got was a large piece of iceberg lettuce with a slice of provolone, two tomato wedges, and 4 very bitter cucumber slices. No dressing, no mayo, no avocado, no flavor except for the bitter cucumbers. I should’ve known by the bad customer service that this would turn out badly. Worst part is i took it to go and didn’t discover it until I was back at the office. Extremely disappointed!

It was super packed at lunch time when my coworker and I went. Cash register employee looked really stressed out and told us there would be a longer than usual wait. After 20 minutes of waiting for my sandwich, it was on the wrong kind of bread so they had to re-do it. I got the beach club, and it was dry and missing tomato and avocado like the description said it had. They looked under staffed and lots of customers in there were waiting a really long time for their orders and they were also upset. My suggestion would be to have more staff available for rush hours like lunch time, and make sure your workers are making the sandwiches correctly, because it was a waste of $ 9.

Came here for the reviews — unfortunately the Italian sandwich I had lacked meat — just a thin layer for a pricey sandwich. I would not recommend this place as there are plenty of better places to eat deli sandwiches, i.e. Vons Deli in Newhall or Stevenson Ranch, Submarina in Canyon Country just to name a few. Jimmy John’s don’t be cheap on the meat.

Lost its appeal. I have been here a couple times and it has been worse every time. The first indicator of a crappy place to eat is the lack of customers. Should have been my first clue to go to the other nearby place that are standing room only with a line out the door. To quickly sum this place up. Stale bread, very little meat, have to pay extra for stuff like pickles that should come on a sub. Subway and jersey mikes are much better.

This was my first time here and I wasn’t disappointed. To be completely honest, the best part about JJ’s is Charles. When you come across customer service like that it makes your dining experience better. Will definitely be back.

After hitting the gym nearby, I had gone into Jimmy John’s about an hour before closing and decided to give their franchise a try for the first time. There wasn’t a shortage of options in the immediate area, but this place seemed like the least lively of the bunch. I went in knowing only that they serve sandwiches and apparently the prep time for their sandwiches is extremely fast. There were three workers behind the counter that seemed as if they were getting ready to call it a day. My order was a Pepe, an 8″ sandwich which was about $ 7. From order to pick up, it took a little more than 5 minutes. Decorations around the restaurant kept me amused for the most part, especially the list of Things I’ve Learned After 50 Years. The restaurant tout their sandwiches as something mothers would approve of. Well, I’m not the motherly type but I can say that their sandwiches weren’t bad. The french bread was chewier than what I’m used to. This simple ham and cheese sandwich still tasted great like any made-to-order sandwich shop. For the price and size, I wasn’t completely satisfied in the end. If any opportunity comes up, I might try their larger offerings.

I called to let the Manager know regarding the issue of their sandwiches that was delivered to our offices. He didn’t seem to want to help in any way… Bad customer service … will not use this deli ever again. Fire House Subs are awesome!

No line up, fast and friendly service. Nice, clean, causal eatery. #9, all the time on whole wheat. There is just something to that light oil they add to the fresh lettuce! Hubby forgot to add cucumbers this time but it was almost just as delicious. Comparable to other yummy Jimmy John’s we have been to in CA and NV. Love the location. Lots of parking and many amenities in this plaza.

My largest knock about this place is the price per sandwich, pretty high. Overall, I’ve been ordering sandwiches from this place for a while now. They deliver to my work, which is super convenient! And just one sub! They’ve done a lot of awesome events for my work, including charity ones. It really makes them feel like they belong to our community. The service has gotten A LOT better.

They started out pretty strong but the last few times I ordered from here my order has been slow to arrive and wrong each time. I know its just a sandwich shop but I think there some be some attention to detail, it can’t be that difficult to look at an online order and double check you did everything right. Additionally the staff just seems totally apathetic about doing the job right in the first place.

I called in an order and asked if I could get my veggie sandwich as a wrap. I did not know that the wrap would be two pieces of lettuce surrounding my veggies. I have never had this happen at a sandwich place. It should be clear that it is it not a tortilla but a lettuce wrap. I also asked for pickles on my sandwich. They said they can put sliced pickles on the side. Perfect. Until I got my order and they put pickle spears on the side I had to cut up and put on my sandwich. There was no mention it would be another $ 1.50 for this. So overall I paid over 9 $ for some lettuce and pickles I had to slice on my own.

How does this place only get 3 Stars… Subway trolls?! Tried the Italian Night Club with double meat. Yum! As close to a New York Italian Sub as you can get on the West Coast! These guys are going places! The only chain that comes even close to Jimmy Johns is Firehouse Subs… but Jimmy John’s bread sets them apart from the rest! The meats and cheeses are quality. The shredded lettuce, vinaigrette and slightly crispy bread make a near perfect marriage. My only complaint would be is there are not enough of these stores yet! But then that’s not really a complaint, more of a wish. It’s only a matter of time. BTW. …Great Prices too! First time in and loved it. Walked in and ordered a Vito to get my feet wet cause it was my first time at a JJs. I had heard a lot about this place from my coworker and wanted to see what it was all about. I did find it to be pretty damn good! The sandwich had the proper balance of lettuce cheese and cold cuts to make it flavorful. It wasn’t too salty and that’s important. Salt can totally ruin a good sandwich. The guys working there tonight we’re totally cool and walked is through the two sides of the menu. The Vito was pretty amazing. The bread was good and fresh. We didn’t have the meat sliding out of the back of sandwich and the lettuce was shredded properly so there were no struggles when eating. Jimmy John’s is good for sandwich fans who want a equal contender to the other sandwich chains. You can’t eat the same thing day after day. Other pros are the huge parking lot, super friendly staff and they deliver. No more excuses, get in there and try it out!

Jimmy johns has a cool vibe. They do things their own way so thinking its a subway and being disappointed is your own fault. For what it is its pretty good. I’ve tried a few different sandwiches. The midnight club is the only one I will reorder but I love it. A perfect sandwich to eat with a bag of chips. At this particular store they don’t give napkins unless you ask which is surprising giving how much oil and mayo they use. They don’t add pickles to any sandwich but they have a big dill one you can buy.

Went here to see what all the hype is about. I have to say the hype was just that for me. I was expecting a great sub sandwich, but alas it was not so much. For the $ 8 for not even a foot long you get pretty much a French roll with a couple slices of turkey. The roll itself was very good and tasted freshly baked. However I feel I could’ve gotten the same sandwich from Subway for a $ 5 foot long. TOGOS seems like a better option for this price range. For me — don’t believe the hype. There are other places that will pile on the meat and veggies for a little bit more. Place was clean and staff was friendly.

Love the sandwiches, but the customer service needs major help. So many things don’t make sense. Can’t have anything on the side, if they forget to add an item to your sub, they have to add it. They can’t even hand you a piece of cheese. They don’t even cut your sandwich in half. Oh and they don’t hand you a receipt. WHAT? Come on people, get with the program.
