If you want thick super yummy pizza, this is my favorite by far. Love the dough! Slightly sweet crust, lots of size/portion options and reasonable prices. The garlic butter donuts are a fun treat, too. Lovely view into the complex’ garden and fun music. Family friendly.

Hubby and I have been fans of Numerous Uno’s for over 20 years. It used to be one of our favorite date nights — when we’d split a house salad that included garbanzo beans, fresh cucumber, and wonderful pickled onions. Then we’d share a deep dish pizza(with half to take home to enjoy over the weekend) and a pitcher of beer. Tonight, we had a pitcher of a local brewery — Wolfcreek. It was very good. We hadn’t been in for over a year, but were immediately recognized and shown to our favorite table. You have to love a family run business like Numero Uno’s– we know we do!

Número uno has been my favorite pizza since I was a little girl. I could eat it daily! My go to is the house salad and a thick crust cheese pizza. The marinated onions on the salad are delicious and the chunks of tomorrow on the sweet dough of the pizza is perfection. The reason I give this location 3 stars is because they are not making the pizza as good as they use to. The past several times I have ordered the pizza is burnt on he bottom, the pizza seems dry(lacking sauce), and there is barely any cheese(we have learned order extra cheese, which turns out to be just enough cheese to make it a pizza!). I still love this place but I wish they would take some pride in the pizza they are serving. My hope is that they read this review and make some changes!

First time my fiancé and I came to this place. Man oh man! The owner was super friendly and really welcoming. Loved his service since the second we walk in. We sat down and yes some people may say the décor is funky. My words will be «warm & welcoming» My fiancé and I got a pizza and wings. I’ve seen in the reviews that a lot of persons were complaining about the pizza not having«ENOUGH»

I have a friend who absolutely loves Numero Uno. Although he’s a bit odd, he is pretty spot on with his opinion of this restaurant. This location is buried in a shopping center which makes it hard to see from the street. But if you find it, you’ll be happy you did. The inside is pretty small. It looks like a restaurant buried in a shopping center(duh). It’s not much to look at. We came in on a Sunday evening and it was empty. But the service is good and the staff is friendly. It’s like a mom & pop shop. Plus I noticed they get a lot of take out business. We ordered the sausage & pepperoni calzone, which was very good. We also got a works pizza minus the mushrooms(gross), which was also very good. It was a thick crust, Chicago style, and it was very tasty. The bowl of spaghetti was not quite as good. It needed a bit more flavor. Also, the food wasn’t quite as good the next day, so try to finish it while you’re there because it tastes so much better the first time. But all in all, it was a good visit. Their prices are affordable, unlike so many other Italian spots that think they need to overcharge people for their food. I’ll definitely be back.

Ordered the Romano balls, inferno wings, and the 5 Deep dish pizza. Took longer than predicted on grub hub initially. However, everything was nice and hot when it arrived. The Romani balls are incredible! Amazing doughnut — like deep fried balls with Parmesan on top. Omg! The wings were not too spicy but they were tasty. The pizza was incredible. Tons of toppings. Perfect dough. Definitely will order from here again!

For some reason our pizza tasted like cardboard. A simple pepperoni pizza. Last time we will eat there.

Oh man, the pizza here is worse than a cheap frozen pizza from WalMart. Came with a friend late on a Saturday and it was empty(first clue). Even though we were one of two tables, it took the waitress forever to come over to take our order(she was sitting and chatting with relatives at another table). The place itself is dingy and dark with no discernible yummy kitchen smells that usually emanate from a good pizza place(second clue). When the«pizza» finally arrived, I swear it was someone’s leftovers(they were closing soon). I gagged down part of one piece(my friend ate most of it, but he’s a human garbage can) and sat and drank my metal-tasting water. I do not recommend the pizza here and the service was horrible. I’m from Chicago, so I KNOW about pizza.

Fantastic pizza! The servers are so friendly. The place is clean, cute, and a great environment. This has been one of my favorite places to eat in SCV, so I thought it would be a great place for to get together and celebrate my college graduation. I brought a party of fifteen(my parents, brother, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and very young cousins), and they were so accommodating. I couldn’t believe how great they were. We felt very comfortable, we were not treated as an annoyance at all.

Sucks to pay full price for a cheese-LESS pizza! I feel ripped off! The stars are for the wings only.

Always a great destination for family dinner time. The service is consistently exceptional. The staff and manager are always accommodating and sincerely friendly. The pizza(especially the crust) is good as are the salads. Bread puffs are great and calzones are pretty good. The restaurant is clean but could use a bit of a make over. Restrooms and parking are fine. Keep up the great work!

We LOVE Numero Uno! We’ve been ordering from there for 15+ years. Don’t expect authentic Italian or gourmet. It’s just yummy food! We love the salads. The pizzas are unique — chunky tomatoes in the sauce and a slightly sweet crust in the deep-dish pizzas. The Romano Puffs are addicting. Gotta have it sometimes!

The most underwhelming dinner I’ve ever eaten. The Wifey & I ordered a Chicken Parmigiana sandwich, the House Salad and Fettuccini Alfredo. Let’s start with the sandwich: it’s their chicken tenders on a roll with a slice of parmigiana cheese. Really? The house salad is iceberg lettuce, onions & croutons; tasteless rabbit food. The Fettuccini Alfredo was chewy noodles swimming in sauce. Less than half way through our meal my wife and agreed it’s not worth the calories. Its safe to say we will never patronize Numero Uno again. Of course, this is for anybody who wishes to heed my opinion…

Pizza delivery took :45 min and wasn’t very hot on arrival. Pizza is everything you would expect from a national delivery chain, no more and no less. The web site order wouldn’t allow me to double the pepperoni so I had to call it in. The service on the telephone was excellent.

I ordered this pizza for delivery on Unilocal.Another very smooth Unilocal transaction. I love how on Unilocal I can pre pay for everything including the tip so I don’t have to hustle about for cash at the front door. Pizza arrived promptly and was still warm when it got here. Loaded with toppings and extra cheese as ordered. I ordered there equivalent to a supreme without olives. And they got it right no olives. I’d use them again as a nice alternative to Pizza Hut. Delivery was fast and hassle free.

For some reason all Número Unos seem to be a little divey and of course this location would not be the exception– even though they’re in canyon country. They are located in the same center as ihop and seems a bit hidden between other businesses but if you follow the Unilocal address you’ll be fine. The food is just as good as any other Número Unos. I personally go for the deep dish pizza. I love the sweet and salty flavor of the crust and always find myself satisfied. If you’ve never been to a Número Unos before think of BJ’s pizza. Overall I’m a fan! Tip Think twice about getting their marinated onions, I say pass!
