This place is a joke! We came once before and were told we could have a seat but it would be about 30 minutes before they could get to us. Wtf?!? We left. Due to the good reviews we decided to come again on a slower night. Tonight was that night, it was dead! We sit down and start ordering drinks only to find out nothing makes sense! Diet Coke is only $ 2, but Sprite is $ 3?!? But wait, they actually have Pepsi products! Seriously WTF?!? So, we finally decide on drinks(by staring at the soda fountain rather then the insanely out– there menu) and I see him putting my kids’ drinks in a glass vs a kids cup. I timidly ask if they have to go cups and if so, could he use them for my kids’ drinks. He says«no problem». Cut to 5 minutes later when all drinks arrive in a GLASS, with ice on the side in a separate glass. W-T-F??? At this point, we are looking for Ashton Kutcher. Alas, we were not being Punk’d, just being hit on the head by the universe to get the Eff out of there! I can’t vouch for the food, but I can’t imagine who can last long enough to try it!

This is the first time I have ever left a negative comment on a place. I am not sure at what point in the this places history it feel apart, based on the 4.5 stars I have to believe that it was good once before. First off the place is clean, the staff nice enough. After ordering, I was informed that they did not have the pizza I wanted, so we picked again. After a while a pizza was brought to the table. It was down right liquid on top of the crust, lucky for us, it was the wrong pizza and was not ours. When ours arrived it was just as bad, the flavor was ok, but it was I possible to eat like a normal slice of pizza. Also ordered the calzone which was cooked correctly, it was decent. The food was a solid 1 out of 10 and the service was a 2 out of 10. There are so many better pizza options in Santa Clarita Valley, go to toppers or even BJ’s if you want better pizza and a better environment.

Pizza was not bad. Not much sauce. It was pretty burned all the way around the top of the crust– usually my favorite part was inedible. We had terrible service. Ordered wine that was on menu only priced by bottle, server brought a glass. We asked for extra pizza sauce because Pizza had little on it. He forgot to bring sauce. We could hear employees eating. It took a long time until we were checked on again and I could ask for more sauce. Did I mention we were the ONLY customers in the place? Place was dirty and dusty. I peeked back the butcher paper that overlays the tablecloth and the cloth was stained and parmesan and crumbs were covering cloth under paper.

We keep coming here for the pizza and are never let down. The sauce is light and the crust is thin. The pasta tastes homemade and the sauce is fresh. This place is awesome. Update: every time we come here the food is great. But they need to hire more help! They have the same poor waitress that is by herself with no one else to help. We came on a Saturday night and it was very busy and there was allot of people waiting, including ourselves. We would’ve left if it wasn’t for my kids being so hungry. The waitress does an awesome job by herself. The owner needs to hire more waiters. Their Unilocal scores will drop if they keep making people wait just because they refuse to hire people. I have already dropped my Unilocal score by one star.

I have eaten here once after a beating at laser blast Valencia. Right across from pink salt which is also good. This place is unique and square shaped. The pizza was more than okay and the service was sub par. But the selections of pizza are awesome haha.

A truly delicious and authentic pizza. I am from New York so I know pizza and this is a crunchy, chewy crust, spectacular cheeses and quality ingredients overall.

Not very good. Pasta was spicy and tasted kind of wierd. Also the tables were dirty and there was only one piece of tiramisu, and it was bad.

Excellent«traditional» style pizza. I love their pasta dishes too. The service is top notch as well. There is ample parking and a small arcade for the kids next door at the laser tag place. This establishment is a real winner if you like traditional, thin crust pizza. Pizza Hut fans will not be impressed.

Ordered the Buffalo mozzarella pizza. The sauce had the consistency and flavor of PURETOMATOPASTE and the crust tastes like saltine crackers MINUS the salt. Shame on u guys! $ 16 dollar pizza?!? Overpriced and no flavor. Ordered it to go. Price was $ 15 and 20 some cents. Guy(in a chef coat — what a joke) says to me «do u what ur 74 cents?» After I had already put $ 1.00 in the Tip jar. Does this make sense to u? If it was .02 cents I could understand the question. But .74 cents after I put $ 1 in the tip jar? I fell for it and told him to keep it — which when I left, made me question my decision. Will NOT be getting pizza there again. I recommend Vincenzo’s or even Pizza Rev if ur in a hurry. C’mon!

Things that make you go ‘hmmmm’… Pizza Del Sardo definitely had me ‘hmmm-ing’. I’ve had this spot bookmarked for quite some time and recently ordered two pies for pick up. Service was lukewarm but prompt, nothing memorable. While waiting for the guy to run my credit card I browsed around: pretty empty during lunch on a weekday(only one table was being occupied), they have outdoor patio seating, and a TV inside that was airing a ball game. Again, nothing too memorable. Parking was easy as they are located in a shopping plaza that has free parking and won’t drive you mad, like those plazas home to Target or Trade Joe’s … locals, you know what I’m talking about. Anyway, the pies. HMMM. They weren’t great and I really wanted them to be, honestly! Sadly, the pies were lukewarm when I got home. I mean, I arrived for pick up when they said it would be ready and went straight home and I’m less than a couple miles away! The sauce to pizza ratio was poor, not sure if there was even any?! Also, I requested mushrooms be added to the Pizza alla Salsiccia, BIG mistake and probably a preference thing, but I didn’t care for the texture of the type of mushrooms they topped it with. The mushrooms they used were too dense and chewy and turned me off entirely. I felt like I was chewing a slug, if that’s what chewing a slug is like? So, mustering up some kinds words. HMMM, I guess if I had to recommend between the 2 pies, I’d say go for the Primavera. The white sauce was ‘tastier’ in the sense that I could actually taste it, plus the artichokes were tasty. Lastly, I’m usually not a pie-crust-eater but I actually liked their crust, that is probably the silver lining to this mediocre affair. Pizza Primavera: Fresh Tomato, Mozzarella, Artichoke, Oregano — $ 12.45 Pizza alla Salsiccia: Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Italian Sausage — $ 13.95 Next time I am craving a pizza, Pizza Del Sardo won’t be making the cut. With so many good pizza reviews, if I am brave enough to give them a second chance maaaaybe I’ll dine in to see if that makes a HUGE difference.

This place is amazing service is top notch. I agree don’t know how it is not busy, when the prices are fare the food is amazing and they are willing to customize a pizza for you. I think this will be my new pizza joint. I went in just to try it. I had one pizza there and then took another togo just to see how it is cold. Trust me i don’t really make reviews unless the place I go to is outstanding. This place takes the cake.

I honestly don’t know why this place is rated so high. Husband and I came in at 630pm(no line, not outrageously busy, got a table right away) but got our food at 740 — and it was all wrong. Three different people came by but no real service from anyone. Absolute worst. We will not be back and certainly don’t recommend to anyone.

How is this place not more crowded? This is the best pizza in the Santa Clarita Valley. I see that«other place» right down the street, with their LOUSY, «DiGiorno-like» generic pizza packed with people and a full parking lot. But whenever I come here there are lots of empties? This place is awesome. REAL pizza. I’m partial to the salsiccia myself but it is hard to go wrong. Fresh, hot, delcious. Tastes great when you take it home too. If you want cardboard crust served under a big ceiling fan, go to that«other place». If you want PIZZA, come here and patronize a great business.

What’s the best way to top off a movie marathon night? Pizza. I looked on Unilocal with my friend to find the highest rated pizza around and we came across Pizza Del Sardo. Although he’s lived in Valencia a long time, he had never been here. So we decided why not and called in an order. We got your standard Margherita pizza and were not disappointed. The pizza had just the right amount of cheese and the sauce was really good. The crust was tasty also. I’d love to come back and see what other pizzas they have. My friend even said that he wished we had 2 pizzas when we finished the one we got! All pizzas here are 12″. People working there were also really friendly and actually made me wish we were dining in. The guy at the counter was charismatic and really sold us on this pizza joint. I wish this place was near my house, seriously. Until then, I’ll just have to eat here when I come out to the SCV.

We came in on sunday around 6pm with a party of 10. The restaurant was very accomidating with our large party. It took the staff a couple minutes to get some tables together but in no time we were all seated together. Our party ordered mostly pizza which was freakin delicious. It has to be the way they make their crust. The crust of the pizza was crispy and chewy. One person in our group ordered the calzone. wow so much cheese it was great and the portion was huge. I got the spahgetti alla carbonara. That spaghetti was very tasty. If youre ever on this side of valencia give this place a whirl. The restaurant has very friendly staff and the pizza is awesome. Do believe the ratings on Unilocal haha thats why i came in! So overall i say try the pizza and the calzone you’ll be very surprised!

First time trying this place, based on Unilocal reviews! Awesome job Unilocalers, you nailed it. This place has great pizza and great pasta dishes. We had the margherita and siciliana pizza, cheese ravioli and penne w/meat sauce. Everything tasted great, I would recommend getting the pizza on the well side so the thin dough is crispier. Meat sauce was good, the ravioli also was a great dish. The service was great, Portia was our server and the head chef Tyler came out to greet us. Nice touch and a nice guy. For dessert, the chocolate chip bread pudding was excellent to top things off. We all left happy and full. I gave it 4 stars, it’s hard to ignore the very dirty menus. Sorry guys, we’ll be back and I will change my review as long as the menus are clean. «Just keepin’ it real(Earl)» The Real Foodie

Had Pizza Del Sardo at a birthday party and decided I had to visit them personally. The Pizza is absolutely in a different galaxy! The ambience inside was as if I was dining in Italy, the quality of the food is absolutely unbelievable. The food is indescribable… Gourmet all the way and definitely priced right. All I can say is you HAVETOCOME and try for yourself. PIZZATOSCANA… Must try, write it down
