Recently, I purchased two UIM-501SS ice making units through will call. Great customer service and great working units with little to no damages, for half the price! Love that the company is local and stands by their products.

We picked up an open box will call for a Wine refrigerator from Whynter’s So Cal distribution center, for our new home renovation. It was perfect. Hardly a scratch and half the price. They even packaged it in a super strong box so we could put it on my truck bed. Great product and it’s been working nicely for 2 months.

I ordered a Whynter wine cooler through Costco. When I received the cooler, I noticed cosmetic damage on the exterior. I went to return the unit, but was then contacted by Whynter, offering me a $ 75 rebate if I would accept the unit as is. Since it appeared to be cosmetic damage only, I agreed to the rebate. My return request was then canceled. It took about two months to get the rebate check, and when I tried to deposit it, it bounced! All further correspondence with Whynter resulted in responses to the effect that they were«unable» to make good on the check. To add insult to injury, the unit has never worked well, keeping the wine at right around room temperature. I would not recommend doing any business with this company – bad customer service and bad products!
