I enjoy shopping in La Casa Fina. The people are very nice but don’t bug you as you browse. It’s very nicely arranged, and there is always an abundance of lovely and wonderful things. That being said, I really do have to lambast reviewer Miki D. from Colorado and Pedro A. from Santa Fe for giving La Casa Fina such a lousy review. Miki D. whined because La Casa Fina wouldn’t hold on to her furniture purchase for months on end. I felt like she acted like a spoiled and entitled shopper to presume that the store should store her furniture until it was convenient for her to pick it up. Asking for a day or 2 is appropriate, but more than that… no way. Get yourself a storage unit, Miki. It’s not up to the business to do it for her. Geez. La Casa Fina is a business, not a charity. There was another whiner, Pedro A, who was annoyed that La Casa Fina didn’t come pick up and drop off his furniture. Geez. What is up with these entitled people?! You use your own truck or your borrow one from a friend. To presume the store should schlep your stuff around is ridiculous. I don’t know the owner and I haven’t consigned anything yet. But I owned a consignment store for over 10 years and no one ever presumed they were entitled to store stuff in my shop indefinitely or that I was supposed to come pick their stuff up or bring it back to them if it was unsold. The nerve of these people. All I can say is there are far too many people who think everyone owes them something. Don’t pay attention to those negative, whiny reviews. This is a lovely store worth visiting.

Everyone is so nice, and very helpful with questions. Eliana helped us, also Brandi was a great help. The store has a wide range of range antique furniture, and consignment items. A must stop next to Chocolate Maven.

This consignment store is a treasure trove. The variety of items surprised me. You can find everything here from lamps and figurines to couches, tables, and doors. The staff is warm and helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed so you can take your time to explore. The jewelry is not their focus and is a hidden gem(lol). You can find well priced unique pieces, both traditional New Mexico fare and jewelry from all over. No gold, though, beads and sterling and turquoise. I definitely will stop by every time I am in Santa Fe.

I will not consign here again. First, email communications with abundant photos were haphazard, partial and unclear. Second, the store does not pick up or deliver, so that is an extra expense. Third, after inspecting the photos they refused items at the door. Fourth, they changed their mind a couple of days afte taking(and signing for) another piece, and asked me to retrieve it? Actually they had damaged the piece and had the GALL to ask me to retrieve it because«they could not sell damaged furniture.» Good bye, Casa Fina.

The customer service at this store is the worst I’ve ever encountered! We were shocked by the owner, Seva’s behavior towards us. We had just had our home completely flooded out and was having it completely rebuilt and refurnished. It was a terrible time for us. We purchased a dresser from Seva, paying completely for the purchase and asked if they could hold it for us until our home was finished, she agreed. After a couple of months she contacted us about picking up the dresser, I told her the home wasn’t ready and as we were in a hotel had no place to keep it. She told us this was«unacceptable» and her dialogue went South from there, there was no reasoning with her, no humanity. After hanging up, my husband called her back to tell her we would come get the dresser within a week, that’s when she told him she was giving us back our money. She was totally irrational, our feeling is someone else wanted the dresser and was willing to pay more for it, or she felt she could get more for it. This was a crazy experience, and do not recommend this store. Things have settled down for us now, house is finished, furnished with a new beautiful dresser with no bad aura attached to it. After a bad time, one remembers the people who helped along the journey with kindness and compassion, the owner of this store, Seva, was not one of them.

Horrible customer service. Worst ever. The 2 people working in the store when we entered — we are guessing they are partners or husband and wife — were moving furniture around and never even acknowledged our being in the store. Some of the consignment stuff was okay, but for the most part it was a bit junky. Not ONETIME did the owners working there say hello or even ask if we needed help. I will not return.
