This little place ROCKS! We live in Atascadero & had business in town, so we «yelped» Mexican restraunts in SM. We went with this one because of the reviews. Really happy we did. Our server, Juan, was perfect. Very personable and attentive. We both got shrimp cocktails and then the chile rellanos. The cocktails were PACKED with huge shrimp and were served with fresh tortilla chips. The rellanos were also huge and came with rice, beans and tortillas. We went in hungry and had to get to-​go containers for one rellano. Oh, Juan also brought out 2 lime-​cooked shrimps for us to taste. Out-​Standing. Thanks Real Tamazula! We’ll be back.

Never had Chilaquiles outside of Mexico before and must say this place is amazing. I am a lover of it now. The prices are great and the portions are large. Combine that with their Horchata. Yum! My wife and I both had different takes on the same plate. Red and Green sauce. Just so savory and flavorful.
The service here is also top notch. They were super accommodating, friendly and extremely pleasant. I can’t wait to come back here!

A different concept of AYCE where food is made to order, therefore they give it you fresh all the time. Friendly staff with good customer service, and very reasonably priced too.

Honestly the best Mexican restaurant around I got to know everybody in there even the cooks haha they are really funny after you get to know them I just love this place and me and girlfriend come here or try to come at least 2 – 3 times a week

Staff was very friendly and professional. As a first time guest, I walked in and felt very welcomed by the staff and owner immediately, which is something you don’t experience everywhere. Food portions were not to big and not to small, but just the right size. The buffet option seemed too good to be true, but to my surprise it is actually honored and seems to be very popular umongst guests. Every meal I ordered was cooked upon ordering and I was checked on numerous times to see if I needed anything which is always a plus. Would definitely be coming back and would recommend it to everybody. The only downside was the location. Driving out there were a few homeless and drunk people in the back alley, but the restaurant itself was great.

Came here for first time based on reviews on Unilocal… we were pleased with the food. They had a buffet option that was interesting as we could then taste what we wanted for future reference.
Wait staff was friendly and place was nice and clean.
I will definitely be coming back here.
I really liked the Chile Verde great taste.

Love this place. Tiffany is always so friendly. I cant eat the buffet anymore, but I had the pollo feliz, always delicious. Come out and try all their awesome food by ordering the menu buffet. You can order anything you want from the menu, multiple times or something different and it will be cooked to order. Once you have the option for menu buffet you will never order only one thing. You will always leave full and smiling.

Ok idk how ppl liked this place but its a total disaster. The hub ordered chicken sope. The «chicken» tasted NOTHING like chicken. It was tasteless. I ordered «carnitas» and it was birria. They obviously dont even know what they are serving. The beans tasted fishy. What the heck right? We only stopped here cuz we wanted to try something new. Now we know why its always empty. Never ever going back to this place again!

Wow, This place is fantastic! The white chicken enchiladas and shrimp enchiladas were really great. $ 13.75 for all you can eat, freshly cooked food. Service is friendly and fast.

Ambiance is that of a typical Mexicali joint, with a large TV over the bar playing at the same time as music at approximately the same volume. The booths and tables are those which are common in Mexican joints, and are decent quality and comfy. There’s an interesting painting of a younger woman slaving away at making what I believe are tortillas, with a strap of her shirt falling off her shoulder, which felt somewhat suggestive. Food was brought out in an appropriate and timely manner. The taste and presentation of the food was on par with other restaurants in the same price range and possibly a bit higher. Portion sizes were more than adequate. Leaving through the back alley makes for a discrete entry into the adult toy store nearby, if one were so inclined on the way out. For a dinner and a drink, look to spend about 12 or 13.

Went here tonight using a
gift certificate, and had a really good experience.
The service was super friendly and prompt, and she even helped me pick on what to order and let us order «special”-y (ie crispy chicken tacos instead of soft shell and chimichangas with lingua!)
The portions were huge and the food was so good!

Stumbled upon this place for the .99 cent tacos which are extremely good. Apparently they are under new owners and they are extremely friendly!
