They have a wide selection of food and plenty of seating space. Unfortunately this is cancelled out by their bland-tasting food. I would recommend Ming Dynasty if you are looking for a Chinese Buffet.

There is a lot of choice here. Af course it is a chinese food. But they also serve mexican food. And some other asian food. The place is clean and the staff is very nice. The food tasted ok. Nothing to fancy. But the chef bar. The one that u can choose any raw food and he will cook it on the spot. I like that! The food tasted fresh and steaming hot. This place is very spacious. They even have sushi bar. To me thay taste good. Give it a try!

Did not like this place one bit. The food give me one of the worst stomach pain ever. Food smelled awful, greasy, and as if it was pass it’s due date. Also one the waiter was very rude and told me to not to get a lot of food because I’m just wasting their money and I just was like but a buffet. They told me if I didn’t like I could leave so I told them then I will want my money back, they told no we don’t have give you nothing and if you keep on causing problems we will call the police. So I just left. Worst place in town will never go back. I even found cockroaches and maggots where their food was at, simply awful.

The last two times I’ve came here I have gotten a horrible stomach ache. Food seems like it’s been left for long periods of time just sitting there. Cashier was rude waitress was ok. Will not be coming back.

Went here with my parents because they said the food here was good! Well let’s start off with the service! The service is really bad. The waiter kept taking our plates even when we aren’t done with it. It was only 9pm and half of the trays were empty. When asked if they would refill the trays, the manager said no because they were closing already! Closing time for them was 9:30pm. I feel bad for the people that came in at 9:30 and expected to get the full buffet but they closed the Mongolian spot. The majority of the staff are eating next to us. The food is ok. They had a lot of shrimp and seafood but that’s the only thing good about this place. It’s kind of dirty and the staff are kind of rude! I asked for a refill and the guy slammed the stuff he was caring, picked up our cups and was pissed! One of the worst experience!

Spacey, lots of booths, and a very easy atmosphere to enjoy your food. But I kept having to flag waiters down for drinks refill so that was lame. I taste tested a few things and I must say… The broiled oysters looked like it had potential but the sauce they put on it was crap. The breaded shrimp was fried perfectly but lack seasoning and flavor altogether. The stir fry shrimp was good as well as the usual Chinese dishes like orange chicken and the likes… Japanese section was pathetic. Rolls were skimpy, too much rice and little else. Go here only if you’re buffet hungry otherwise… Magic dragon is better.

I went with my boyfriend, right when you walk in you get a whiff of the dirty fish water fountain. It made me lose my appetite but my boyfriend insisted. The food was not pleasant at all. I got fries that were very old. The chow mein is very greasy. The orange chicken was not good. The pizza tasted weird. The gravy looked very old. The lady who charged us was pretty nice but our server wasn’t. When my boyfriend was asking her a question she interrupted and told another employee to serve us. I would be completely happy if we never come again!

Well… This place absolutely sucks. Considering it was just under $ 40 for 2 adults and a 4 year old, it was a rip. I had maybe half a plate of «food» that was just terrible. Had to get up and leave. The things I did try were super salty and/or flavorless. Most of it did not look good. Seemed like a cafeteria from hell. Staff was crabby and mostly ignored people. Did not like how the dining area they were shoving people into was separated from the Asian dining room. It was a large room too. Maybe it was for family of the staff? Either way, take your $ 40 elsewhere. Nothing to see here.

First time writing a review because I felt almost obligated to share my experience. Coming in the cashier was rude. Customer service in general was poor. Food was about a 2 out of 10 and that is being generous. Had a horrible stomach ache afterwards. Maybe it was the cold food maybe the sushi that looked like it was sitting out for a very long time. Had some beef and broccoli, but the beef was just chewy. none of the food tasted fresh or looked fresh. Was there for about 15 minutes and had to leave immediately. I knew as I walked out that I would never return.

«It seem’s risky but I’m willing…» –my roomie. So we gave it a chance — prob the last time we’re coming. It was ~$ 17 for dinner. They had shell fish and crab legs so that was a plus. The stir fry was kind of a joke and the lady making it was in a terrible mood. I would honestly stay away from the sushi because who KNOWS how long its been sitting under those lights(pretty much heat lamps). It was awkward when we were waiting because you have to pay before you’re seated. First time I’ve ever been to a buffet like this. #protip no protip available for V Star Buffet

I am not exaggerating when I say this is the worse chinese food I have ever had. Visiting my mom from LA, she suggests we try this buffet. Food was inconsistent with temperature, some dishes were extra saltt, some dishes were extra bland. I look around and I see people drowning their food in tapatio. If you have to drown your food in hot sauce, there is something wrong with your food. Dont bother going here.

This place is a fraud. They successfully tricked my parents(visiting from abroad) to pay the charge twice. They said the first transaction didn’t go through, and made them pay a second time. I have both receipts showing«approved». On top of that, they tried to fool them and said your visa gift card is empty, give it to us. Of course, the card itself was not empty. I am reporting them to the police.

We are done with this place. I go here because my kids like this stuff, but this last visit was about all I can take. The food was mediocre. The price is too high for the quality. The ice cream guy — let me go there — I thought he was just nice to kids, but found out he wanted my 12 year old son’s phone number. Then he offered to chat privately with him. «You effing freak!» Stay the f*ck away from this place! He eyeballed my son the entire time. «If I find you near my kids, I will beat the sh*t out of you.» Yeah, so don’t go there is what I’m saying.

Just plain horrible!!! Many food options, although too bad they forgot about quality! Food looks like it’s been under the heat lamp for much too long. I’d be very cautious.

The Chinese food was decent for the most part. The clams and mussels were pretty good but, the oysters didn’t taste fresh. As for the sushi, don’t even think about trying it. Looks like it’s been sitting out all day. Even the pickled ginger tasted exactly like feet. Don’t ask me how I know what feet taste like, just take my word for it. The guy that prepares the sushi has no customer service skills. It was obvious he hated his job and dreaded having to serve anyone. I made the mistake of using the restroom prior to my meal. The men’s room was very filthy. So disgusting, it spoiled my appetite. I’m giving them 2 stars because the Chinese food wasn’t half bad.

The only differences that I have noticed is the fact that it’s no longer called«Jumbo Buffet» and it’s had a facelift. Otherwise, nothing else has really changed. The service is excellent, but unfortunately their food doesn’t reflect that. The food is still as terrible as I remembered it from my last visits when it was Jumbo Buffet. It’s no wonder why there were so many clear tables the couple of times I was there.

«Never Ever Ever eat here, this place sucks.» That’s what I posted on my Facebook Check-In. Every main entrée had a greasiness about it. I’d have to guess that 90% of what is served is frozen, there’s a stale freezer burn taste to everything. The place was marginally clean(in the dining area) and the staff were friendly enough. As we were seated, the was a young man of questionable immigration status, playing loud«Bandas» music from his outdated Nokia flip phone. I asked our waiter if he could ask the man to turn it off, but he couldn’t really comprehend what I was saying to him. So we ended up moving on our own. My wife told me the womens restroom was so dirty she couldn’t even bear to go in. That has to be absolutely FOUL, as my wife is no prissy princess. If you have to go to a buffet, DONOTGOTOTHISONE! I would of rather dealt with noisy crowded HOMETOWNBUFFET anytime over this crappy place. Stay away from this place.

Great buffet. I remember when this used to be Jumbo Buffet. It’s remodeled now. Visited some family that lived in the area, and we went here for a birthday lunch. Now it looks great! There’s a sushi bar, noodles bar, and many choices of typical buffet foods. Ice cream is now served by the scoop in several different flavors, so no more self-serve chocolate/vanilla ice cream! Great value.

It’s your typical Chinese buffet with a few other things thrown in. This place is a remodeled buffet that was formerly Jumbo Buffet. They changed the interior around quite a bit, it looks a lot nicer… most of the food options are the same with a few changes here and there, but for the most part… it’s all the same. They changed the ice cream from the self-serve machine… to self-scoop tubs… huh? …(see uploaded picture!) I’ve never been to any buffet where you scoop your own ice cream. Just knowing my hands can get messy scooping MYOWN ice cream out of half-gallon tubs at home makes me cringe when I think of several dozen people scooping ice cream out of these giant tubs(think of those 5 gallon tubs of ice cream at any ice cream parlor). Just imagine 20 – 50 strangers helping themselves, the backs of their possibly unwashed hands touching the ice cream, maybe some fingernails getting caught in there as well… throw in a few kids who decide to ignore the sign telling them to have an adult help them… it’s just bad news! Anyway, that’s the only real reason I’m writing this review. Please have an employee in charge of serving the ice cream!!!
