I’m reading the other reviews and the comments about poor service; thinking to myself they much have changed staff or something. The service was fantastic, I like the fact that it wasn’t super crowded, however, I did have an early dinner on a Monday evening. I had the Free range chicken w/whipped potatoes, sounds very simple but the taste was outstanding!!! I would definitely come here again. Also — like I said before the service was amazing from the valet to our waitress.

Food good with limited menu selection. Bartender rocked my dirty martinis and Rina the server was great. I’d call her very efficient. She checked in with me at all the right times to assure everything was to my liking. Thanks guys. None of you knew this was the night before a most stressful day tomorrow and I was able to relax and enjoy!

Attended a seminar for work in the hotel conference rooms and decided to get a drink instead of sitting in rush hour traffic. Ordered the«passion» something, a spicy pineapple tequila concoction, which was actually decent. Would’ve been better with fresh pineapple juice but whatevs… also a side of fries cause you know… fries. My only gripe is with the waitress, she was so abrupt and rude and haggled with me over my $.70 «Starwood Preferred» discount. Like really it’s $.70, is it worth it to piss of the customer over less than a dollar? Not a cute look.

Pretty standard hotel bar really. Atmosphere is good with live dj’s and bands on some nights(not sure which). Prices are also relatively okay for the hotel star rating and area. Good selection of drinks and the staff are friendly.

Nice restaurant and bar. It was late so I had a small appetizer food was delicious! The bar has great music and vibe. The meal has a little bit of everything wine beer cocktails small plates and chefs specials.

This place is a hidden gem in Santa Monica. The filet was comparable to your«nice» streak house. The Sea bass was cooked perfectly and the braised short rib melts in your mouth. We topped it off with the S’mores crème brûlée. To die for. Highly recommended and 5 stars to chef Russell!

My new favorite restaurant for sure. Ambiance is very calming and the service is attentive and polite — a refreshing change for the area. We did about 4 shared plates, each one was memorable. And the dessert menu is awesome. Great prices. Great place. It’s also a VERY smart location for industry lunches.

Came for the dine LA week special. For a truly delicious 3-course meal and excellent service, $ 30 is a steal! The waiter was very attentive without lingering too much. The coconut soup starter had me licking my lips, and my spoon, and wondering why on earth they didn’t serve it in a bowl you could drink the last delicious drops out of! The spare rib was fork-tender and accompanied perfectly by crispy-outside, creamy-inside polenta. And the burnt orange chocolate mousse was decadently chocolately with a dash of saltiness and not overly sweet.

Nothing special about this place except the atmosphere. Bland, undercooked food and a desert so sicky sweet I could only eat about 3 bites. I had the pumpkin risotto and it was so under-seasoned and bland it barely had any flavor. The Brussel sprouts were floating on a watery maple sauce and were so hard and tough I sent them back to actually be cooked longer. The waitress recommended the Smores crème brûlée, which she said was excellent. It had so much marshmallow fluff on top it was so sweet I only ate a few bites. When she came back to the table, she said«it’s really sweet, huh?» And I said too sweet. Her reply was«I eat it without any marshmallow cream on top». My first thought was, Well then why don’t you tell people that lady”. I was then told I needed to sign my check right away, so she could close it out because she had to leave in 10 minutes. I was charging it to my room and she knew that, so why the big rush when the place did not close for another 40 minutes? Everything about this experience was not good. It had tons of potential, but I won’t be going back here even if I’m a guest of the hotel.
