Starbucks

I have been coming here in the mornings to get my wife a tall cafemisto with one splenda and one pump of pumpkin spice flavoring. The price I get charged has been different everyday. One day it was $ 2.85. Another day it was $ 2.55. This morning it was $ 3.15. The barista this morning was not the warm, perky staff member you usually see at Starbucks, which could account for the fact that she charged me 60 cents for only one pump of pumpkin spice flavor. When I brought up the pricing inconsistency, the staff member kind of just shrugged me off like it really did not matter. I choose my battles, and I would rather just keep quiet so as not to make a scene. My wife loves the coffee, so I will pay whatever. What I don’t understand is that none of the employees ever tried to correct the price inconsistency problem or ask a manager what I should be charged. So now when I go in there in the morning, I have no idea what the cup of coffee is going to cost me. In the past, Starbucks has always been good about offering a free cup of coffee when they make a mistake, without my even asking for it.

The girls have my order memorized and start my drink as I walk in the door. They get it right every time, that is why I keep going to this location! I really appreciate the excellent service and friendly smiles :)

The 5 stars is for Sam. She makes a bomb flat white. You’d be surprised how many people get such a simple drink wrong.

It’s a Starbucks, so there really is no question about the quality, it’s consistent with all the others. But the service is lacking, starting with the manager. We do go to this loaction often, purely out of convenience. I want to start by saying the Precious is one of 2 employees there that I really like. But even those 2 employees have a change in attitude when the manager is there, they become almost robot like. Unfortunately the managers name escapes me at the moment. We have been patronizing this starbucks way before she was promoted to manager and was shocked when she was given the position. Her attitude is poor, her affect is detached and her general treatment of customers is very unwelcoming. She has zero people skills and couldn’t care less if her employees or customers are happy. Today’s visit was enough for me to decide to take my business elsewhere. She was as rude as ever, didn’t bother to make eye contact [as usual] and literally rolled her eyes and said «what do u want?», rang it up and walked away without another word. As if that wasn’t bad enough, she got one out of the two drinks wrong, therefor I was over charged by about $ 3. Of course I didn’t realize until we had walked out. I went back to say something when I realized my drink and receipt was wrong and she shrugged her shoulders and said that’s not what she heard me order. I didn’t even want a refund at that point, just the correct drink. I’ve had enough of the B!#@H. I feel for the girls that work with her.

Always very friendly service here! Very quick even when they have a lot of people in line. I can’t shop at Vons without first getting my trenta or green tea.

Since I’ve been going to this Starbucks I’ve noticed that only one of the girls working there is nice. The other two I have had help me are not very concerned about customer service.

This Starbucks is located inside the Von’s super market. I stopped in for a Grande Americano with a touch of room. The Americano was spot on. It was smooth, rich, and full of robust flavor. I added some half and half and a little raw sugar and I was set.
One thing that is very cool about this Starbucks in Vons, is that it is the first one, I have ran into, that has seating to relax. (
) The girls who work here are great. They are not only friendly, but they have great senses of humor. When I came, there was a small rush, but they were able to handle it with no problem.
Starbucks in supermarkets, you got to love that…

Love this location. It’s my first choice out of the 4 Starbucks in Santee. I love the friendliness and how they remember their regular customers order. Ashley is my favorite Barista and makes the BEST Double Shots. This location is the only location in Santee that every employee knows how to make a Double Shot the RIGHT way…
