I came in there because of a friends recommendation. Loved my coffee with two espresso shots and most importantly my wife loved her chai tea which she says«they know what they are doing because they made it perfect». My wife used to work at Starbucks and she stated that The Coffee Corner was better than Starbucks had ever been. I love the décor and also the fact that it’s a family owned and ran business. I will continue to support The Coffee Corner. I do wish they were open on Sunday, but I respect and am proud of the fact that they practice their right to close on Sunday; while in a world where it takes one complaint from customers get what they want. I would proudly endorse and sponsor the coffee corner. God bless America and the God bless the coffee corner.

I love this place!!! My co workers and I used to go to Starbucks on our lunch breaks and then we found this place. The associates here are always so kind and friendly, they are quick and the coffee is always delicious!

I ordered an Americano and a nutty blended coffee mocha. The American was absolutely the worst coffee I have ever had. It was disgusting. I tried making it taste better with sugar, etcetera but to no avail. I simply walked outside and trashed it. Honestly I should have asked for my money back. My bf blended coffee had too much chocolate and tasted gross. Horrible place! A wasted $ 9.00 of my money. Never again!!!

I always have issues with a coffee place that does not openly show Thier roaster. Now having had a cup of coffee here I understand why. The bold roast on tap was improperly roasted. I’d guess it’s Starbucks rebranded or Columbria. The atmosphere is nice. the table density is a little high, making access for disabled an issue. The WiFi is fine, no problems.

I’ve been looking for an east SD Ryan Bros. Coffee and this might take it. Saw the review on Unilocal, and thought I would check it out. Only had the California hot drink and it was pretty good. What I really like are all the different signature drinks that are listed. Can’t wait to try all of them. Not too many food items though. It would have made my day if this place also did breakfast sandwiches.

My daughter and I stopped here by chance. We found a hidden gem. Great customer service and cozy environment. She had a strawberry banana smoothie and said it was by far better than Jamba Juice. I had a blended Funk Monkey coffeed(mocha, coconut, banana), it was absolutely to die for! Love this place! You must try it. I will be going back for an Acai bowl!

The staff was courteous and knowledgable, and the atmosphere was relaxing. My drink was ok, but this was my fault, for not ordering something stronger. I asked them if they could top off my latte with some coffee, but the barista brewed another shot of espresso for me, free of charge. I’ll definitely be back and just order an extra shot next time.

Decided to stop here after driving by and seeing that they have acai bowls and I am TOTALLY impressed! It may be one of the best Acai bowls I’ve ever had! I will definitely be back!

I’ve been here three times. Right off the bat, the acai bowl seems to be a big deal to people. I don’t care: I usually get a coffee and muffin. Further, the staff is nice, the selection pretty meager but better than some. My biggest issue is with the clientele and the place’s position as a location for SAHW people. My first time was the most pleasant: I had my headphones, my laptop, and bought a coffee and muffin. It was really nice because the Wi-Fi is strong and I couldn’t hear the conversation. There was a knitting group or something who were having discussions, but they were relatively quiet and respectful of other patrons. This was a 4-star experience. I went back a second time. Same setup, another(same?) knitting group. This time, that group was disruptive for what is generally a manageable auditory experience. I had my phones in, they were loud, and this group was louder. At one point they started singing. Staff did not say a thing. It was apparently acceptable behaviour to everyone else. Minus 1 star. Most recently, I forgot my headphones but otherwise the same setup. No knitting group. A lot of patrons. Every conversation I heard was about The Gospel, a woman having a coffee date and claiming she was very obedient, and(the one conversation that was useful) a fundraising/foodraising writer for needy people. I was uncomfortable with these discussions, but hey, it’s a free country. Minus one star. In the end, I will likely not be returning unless it’s to plop a large group at the conference table and just offset the types of conversation I heard today with more intellectual, artistic, or scholarly topics. It’s a free country.

I tried this place after hearing they had coffee iced cubes. I went inside for the first time and thoougth the ambiance was very cozy, there are couches, chairs, stools, a stage, etc. The place was decorated for the holidays and was very quaint. There is also outside seating available. Although I went for the coffee iced cubes it was chilly outside so I ended up getting a white chocolate caramel latte and it did not dissapoint. It was the perfect sweet level, not too much! I will be going back again.

I finally found a new spot to write. The atmosphere is not too quiet nor too loud… it’s just perfect. The size of the place is decent. They definitely upgraded their place and it looks a little bit different than the pictures on Unilocal. I ordered an acai bowl and it was very good. I feel such a stranger around here because everyone seems to know everyone else. I probably need to come more often and start getting to know the people in the area. Other than that it’s by far one of my top coffee houses in santee.

My wife’s coworker has been bringing acai bowls to work and so my wife was hooked. We visited this place in Santee near the Costco and Home Depot. They had plenty of parking and inside comfy chairs and couches. The wife got her medium acai bowl and I sampled it and I too was hooked. Anyways, after a hike with a buddy of mine, we decided to order the medium acai bowls with peanut butter. We devoured those bowls and were satisfied. I think I’ll be making regular visits this summer with the wife as well as solo.

I’ve been on an Acai kick and I’m officially in Acai heaven. Do yourself a favor. Skip the coconut(unless coconut is seriously you’re thing) and add the peanut butter(unless you could. you know. die from eating peanut butter). And their granola is some of the best I’ve had to date. This place is truly a gem hidden in the corner of Santee. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Décor is quirky with antique tables and chairs. It’s so quiet and still once you step inside, I can’t wait to come back and sit a while.

I used to take my dry cleaning to a place that opened late, closed early and, because they sent the cleaning to a plant halfway across the County, couldn’t offer same day or next day service. I liked the staff, but I wasn’t in need of pleasant company. I wanted my suits pressed and my shirts laundered quickly, and since the nice people worked a different schedule than mine, I found a different dry cleaner. I have a similar problem with Coffee Corner. By the time Coffee Corner opens, I’m already two or three cups into my day, so they’ve missed my window. The coffee itself is just ok. The best espresso drink they’ve served me required a three-person consultation to decide how to make it. Some of Coffee Corner’s workers are nice, but I know more reliably nice people who sell better coffee earlier in the day. Hence one of the two stars in my rating. The second(extra) star in my rating is because Coffee Corner(like Carlton Oaks’ Kaffee Meister) seems to be an occasional meeting place for Bible study and other religious purposes. I am intrigued by businesses that are supportive of such activities, as they seem determined that office workers, hipsters and bleary-eyed college students not have all the fun. I mention the fact believing that, while Coffee Corner would never intentionally make a non-religious patron feel unwelcome, some people might find walking into such an environment awkward. Caveat emptor. ****************************** Kaffee Meister:

This a newly opened coffee shop, sister location in Carlton Hills. I came in and asked for a decaf Americano, but I was informed by the gentlemen working there, that they were out of decaf and he was waiting for a delivery from the other store. I was bummed of course, but I settled for a Organic Chamomile Lemon tea for $ 1.50( ). The tea was very good and came piping hot. The place is nice inside with comfortable seating and a large table for meetings or study groups( ). There is also a couch and small tables along the walls( ) They offer free Wi-Fi for customers and some small snacks, such as muffins and pre packaged pastries. The service was nice and apologetic for not having the decaf, but the absence of the blend and what I desired, kind of put a damper on my visit, so for now, my visit went okay. They are closed on Sundays.
