The Omelette Factory strikes again ! Took my dad for a wonderful Father’s Day breakfast. It was pretty busy when we got there, the staff was fast and efficient and got everyone seated in no time. The staff was so personable and very friendly which really makes your experience in my opinion even better. Ask for Eleni next time you go she’s amazing! The food is amazing and they have large selection. Thanks Omelette Factory for a great experience !!

This was one of the places my friend found that was close to the Mission Gorge area. The place felt like it had a kind of an old, rustic feel to it, mixed with some kind of western theme. I had the All Meat Omelet and it was just okay. The omelet tasted more like a scrambled eggs mixed with various meats rather than an omelet with meat stuffed inside. It wasn’t anything special or noteworthy. The hash browns were also just okay, it was nice that the outside was crispy but the inside didn’t taste too nice and kind of got a little soggy. The food basically felt like it was a mediocre diner quality, but was also quite expensive for what I got. I’d likely pass in the future.

We love to stop here for a good breakfast before going on to the trails. The place is not fancy but the breakfast is good. We’ve always had good service even when it’s super busy. They’re attentive. BTW: French toast is my favorite

I highly recommend eating here. My wife and I went here for the first time this morning and I was extremely impressed. The food was far better than most restaurant breakfasts, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The serving size was very generous, especially for the low price! We will definitely come again!

Always get seated quickly and service is fast and friendly. But on both of our omelette style cheese was not folded it mixed inside the omelette. Just laid weirdly on top. It’s either the laziest or the weirdest omelette ever or it’s their style. Not sure. They also have no idea what Swiss cheese is. They will serve you white cheddar and swear that their Swiss just«doesn’t have holes.» Service is great, food is quickly made.

Love this place. Friendly service, clean. Older building but they are building a new location. Loved the eggs Benedict. Perfect home cooking. Potatoes or home fries were perfect crispy and soft. Menu has a lot of options. Good prices and the portions are big. Will be back.

Yummo! Loved this country diner in SD! Where I’m from in SC, you can find a pancake house on every corner, so this definitely reminded me of home. There’s nothing like a good, quality breakfast joint that has found its niche, but also sticks to traditional food with a little innovation thrown in. The food and service was excellent here. The omelet selection was, as expected and hoped, pretty extensive. The portions were plentiful(I needed a nap after!) and every aspect was delicious. I got the South Baja omelet, with green chiles, jalapeños, onions, cheddar, avocado and sour cream– WOW. It was pretty darn wonderful. There were a few too many jalapeños for my liking(just a LITTLE too spicy), but really. I’m not sure I’d say to even change that. It was amazing. My husband got the philly cheesesteak omelet with steak/green peppers/cheese galore, and he loved it. Once I got over my excitement(and hunger) from my own plate and ventured to take a bite of his, it was gone haha Bravo to this restaurant for excellence all around. We will be back anytime we visit our family in the area.

Okay, first off horrible food. The biscuits and gravy tastes like a bag of flour. Second, it sometimes is really busy so the line is out the door. Lastly, don’t go here!

First time coming here with my bf and I, I got a server named Elaine, one of the greatest and sweetest server there is. Telling her it was our first time in here, she gave us great recommendations which made us come back for the second time. The first time we came we split the plates. We got«the border cross» omelette with avocado and hash brown, a Belgian waffle with strawberries and whip cream, topped off with a coffee and homemade English muffin. This time we got«the Texan» omelette with hash brown and the Belgian waffle. We split it once again and were satisfied. Recommend this place if you love breakfast!

Great breakfast stop, fast and friendly service. Try the house omelette or Philly cheese steak omelette.

The food is great. The service is ok. They could definitely use an upgrade at least in the bathroom if nothing else. They are nice an convenient for us because it is a 4 min walk there. 2 thumbs us from 2 fluffy foodies

Busy but, 5 – 10 minute wait. Mom and pop type cooking, all I can say is this place being my first time here was delicious and served rather quickly. Worth the drive towards east county.

I love this place! Breakfast is amazing! But today I was recommended their daily special by Matty and OMG!!! Amazing! You have to try this place! My favorite! Great food and awesome customer service to go with it! Btw Matty I don’t think I’ll order the delicious club anymore when you have the Greek style chicken!

I want to give great big kuddos to The Omelette Factory. This past weekend, our high school cross country team, and parents(about 75 of us), showed up at The Omelette Factory on a Saturday morning, with only about a 45 minute notice over the phone. This was the 3rd year in a row that we did this, and each time, they have been completely wonderful about it, and took really fantastic care of ALL of us. They always have done an amazing job of making us all feel very welcome. They manage to give us all individual checks, and per family, and they keep it all together without seeming like they might lose their minds. I want to make sure that all of the staff at The Omelette Factory knows that the University City High School cross country team really appreciates the delicious food, attentive staff, and accommodating managers, and for allowing us to invade their restaurant to refuel after the first meet of the season. We will back next year, same time, and I will do my best to give you a couple of days notice this time. THANKYOU!

This is the closest breakfast place to my house, though today was my first day trying it! From the outside, it’s run down, dusty parking lot, and not a top choice. Inside, it’s a mom and pop, greasy spoon place. We ordered omelettes and they were tasty and very diner-y.(Did I make that up? Do you know what I mean?) The service was fast and friendly, our drinks were constantly checked and refilled. My preschooler loved the sausage links and pancakes. This place is a win for the family. Go in with your diner hat on and leave any hipster requests at home. My husband would give them three stars because the AC and General circulation wasn’t great. For that, I told him to write his own review.

The food here is great. Service is excellent and timely, which could have been difficult because I was with a company of 18 guests for a celebratory breakfast. I loved the slight hint of cinnamon in the french toast I ordered. Hash browns and sausage along with raspberry tea really hit the spot. Only caveat was that the meal was rather expensive. I thought it’d be around $ 10. Bill was actually $ 16+, but that’s on me for not really reading the menu. No, I have an issue with the odd, old-fashioned décor. It really needs an update of some kind. Banquet chairs are so last century, and the lighting and overall interior make it look like a place senior citizens frequent. That the quality of the food is that high with a décor that outdated is something rather discordant with this restaurant.

I live across the street from here and it took me about 4 years to actually go there, I dont know why but I am glad I made the choice because I have been going there often now. The food is delicious, I typically get either pancakes or the breakfast sandwich. All options on the menu are plentiful and you will never leave even close to hungry, the portions are big and come with sides too! Last time I was there I had the breakfast potatoes and they were a bit bland and I didnt care for them so I would opt for the hash browns as my potatoes side in the future. The service has always been good, my coffee mug is never close to empty, they are on the ball about refills. The wait from my order to food on the table was short. They take credit card but not AMEX. the place and décor inside is dated and needs a revamp but I heard they are relocating in the next year or two so probably waiting for that.

Came here for breakfast this morning with a big group of friends, hardly any wait which was nice for a Saturday but the food took some time to come out. Not a big deal. When the server brought out our food, my eggs Benedict must’ve exploded bc some how my eggs were on the floor lol. Again, no big deal at all. mistakes happen. The server was real friendly, got me a new plate in a few mins, and kept my coffee topped off til we left. The food was real good. Definitely coming back.
