My son’s dinner and mine was ok, my wife had the nachos were over cooked. We told the waitress and she ignored the comment. She was not very attentive, hate to say it but pretty common at this location.

I went to this place once on my birthday quite a while ago and can say there’s not much I like on the menu for not liking southwestern food/mexican (except the cake with chocolate and caramel) the hostess was rude & didn’t really listen to anything prior seating us. The service was good besides that

I came in with my mother, boyfriend and daughter who’s 1. Instantly seated and properly greeted. Waitress came almost right away. She was very nice, came back tons of times to make sure we had all we needed. I didn’t have to wait long for anything. Great timing. She even let me ordered my daughters food while I still took my entire life to decide. (Girl problems making choices lol) when I finally made a choice the food was good. The only issue I had was the burger itself was lacking flavor but that’s really a personal opinion.

Not one of the better Chili’s experiences I’ve had. Service was missing; responsiveness on a couple of requests was missing or slow. Food however was good, and very reasonably priced.
Bottom line, I’d try another of the area locations next time, and I’ll still seek out the chain restaurant when I’m pressed for time and want their consistent quality.

Tried lunch here today and while we understand it’s a ‘family place’, it had a screaming and shrieking child that the management thought was quite acceptable. We didn’t like the pain in our ears so asked the manager to deal with it and the response was «I’m sorry you feel that way.»
Apparently feeling that one should be able to eat in relative peace and quiet is not on the PC Approved list at Chili’s. He went on to claim I had cursed at a waitress. The whole episode demonstrated a lack of caring about customers. The waitress would have received a very generous tip, but after lying about my request that they relocate the screamer, it was next to zip.
The food was not as good as we remembered at Chili’s which used to be pretty good for that level of restaurant.
Obviously we won’t go back, but they probably won’t miss us either. If you want a pleasant environment and good food, skip this place!

This is pretty much your average chilis. Service was a bit slow, somehow the table across from us ordered after us but got their food long before us. Luckily our kids were behaving so it wasn’t too much trouble. Otherwise nothing remarkable about this chilis.

Local Chilis have been updated with new menus. In the past month I visited two of them in Sarasota and Venice, florida. The changes were positive. Better decoration and atmosphere and more selection. The enchiladas which have been added to menu are very tasty. I have always found the seasoning of the food at Chilis to be good and the service reliable and courteous. Prices are moderate for a sit down restaurant and healthy options on menu are available. Nice restaurant for a casual dinner with friends. We never leave disappointed.

This restaurant’s service has gone down hill! I picked up fajitas for 2 and when I got home there were no tortillas. Second time they messed up our order. I called and talked to the manager, who had an accent so couldn’t understand her that well. Instead of trying to make it better she made it worse. No wonder the Bee Ridge RD Chilis is so much busier!

Chili’s food and service always appear to be good to me. Nothing is ever amazing, but yet there is usually nothing terrible either. I can count on good decent food for the price and leave content. The service was good and I never had to ask for a refill; they were on top of it. I’m not usually a restaurant chain guy, but it was raining today and I did not have to think twice to stop here for lunch.

Chilis is usually a place I don’t opt to dine out at… I go for more ethnic fare. Recently they’ve adjusted their menu, though, to include more healthy options! The food, when it came out though wasn’t up to par… a medium steak came our rare. Also, only the server was nice… the hostess and manager who came by to apologize we’re bland to say the least. I probably will only go here again should we get another gift card… honestly.

We have been to this Chili’s a number of times and it has always been good. The last time on 1−3−13 we had excellent service and good food and drinks.

Food was good. Service was S-L-O-W, waiter Robin was nice, but if it hadn’t been for his back-up (she claimed he wasn’t still in training, but puleeze — he HAD to be), we would have called for the manager earlier. As it was, dessert (the only real reason we came to this joint) took **25** minutes to arrive at the table & although they apologized, they STILL charged us for it ($ 7). Ridiculous — will not return to THIS location.
