Five Star Pizza

Read reviews and decided to try five Star Pizza. It is not a five Star Pizza it is a one star pizza at best. Tasted like one of the major chains not like a real pizza anyway. not a New York style pizza that’s for sure.

Yes, the name might imply taste excellence i.e. Five Star, but at best this pizza taste like a wannabe Papa John’s, which consequently tastes like stinky ass.

1^st time in Sarasota and wasn’t sure where to go. A couple people recommended 5Star so we thought we’d give it a shot. Pizza was very good and the garlic rolls were amazing. Definitely would order again.

Always our 1^st choice for pizza. Never received a bad pizza, the staff is always nice and always have great deals for the week.

I’m not one to eat pizza! But this place has amazing pizza! It’s my FAVORITE!!! This place is a must!!!

I’m going to preface this with some disclaimers. I’ve been a regular customer for a couple years. Secondly, the quality of the pizza does vary. I’m not sure if it’s due to how busy they are or the time of day or s combination. That being said the quality is for the most part good, and for the price I’d even go as far as to say excellent. If you get a dud though you’ve been warned.
Service is great, they deliver promptly and give you an accurate estimate of the eta. Speaking of time they’re open to ungodly late hours, I think three in the morning. That includes delivery. With the other chains shutting their doors at midnight or before five star becomes the solitary option. Delivery isn’t really worth it if you aren’t getting s large or bigger. And they go up to this monolith of a pie called the pizzillla, which could probably feed an entire town.

Great pie! We get the deluxe and it is full of fresh veggies and wonderful pepperoni and sausage. Best pizza by a mile on Siesta Key!

We were having our kitchen remodeled so no cooking for a week.
Ordered the piezilla which is 24 inches. The box was so, big I burst out laughing when they handed to me. I had to get help getting it out to my car.
Three topping pizza was $ 29 but it lasted us about three days. Very good sauce and toppings. Only negative is we like thin crust and this wasn’t thin crust.
We will be back for a normal size pizza in the future.
Recommend giving this place a try.

We ordered an 18″ half pepperoni and half veggies to be delivered. The pizza arrived earlier than expected. Veggies were fresh: pepperoni and veggies plentiful. Crust was excellent. Perfect for a casual evening home with friends. We will be back!

Great food and great service! We tried calling during a time Verizon had messed up both their phone lines and online ordering. We were able to email them and Hilary called back right away on her personal cell phone. We were just about to settle and place an order through Pizza Hut but she was so friendly and accommodating that we knew we had to order through her. No regrets! I live in San Francisco where I have my fair share of food options and this is one of the best by far! We had the Chicken Alfredo and All the Meats. So yummy! I recommend ordering from here not only for the great food but for the outstanding service! THANKS HILARY!!!

Just finished my first pizza and I couldn’t rave about it enough. 11pm on a Sunday night, from out of town, was craving some pizza and options were limited. Ordering over the phone was a no-​bull-​shit ordeal and delivery was ridiculously quick; from the end of the call to delivery guy outside was about 22 minutes flat. Delivery guy was nice and pizza was exactly how as ordered, even with the side cups of ranch (Criminal, I know.)
Now. The pizza. AMAZING. Hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve lived all over the US and have spent some time in Italy, eating pizza daily and this was the best over-​all pizza I’ve had from anywhere.
The ingredients were obviously very fresh, the sausage was EXACTLY how I like it, soft and with a good texture and flavor, not plain over cooked ground beef like a lot of places use. The sauce was the best I’ve ever had, tasted homemade and had that perfect ripe tomato bite to it. Crust was the perfect combination of soft, chewy, a little crisp, not too thick, not too thin, and perfectly baked. Everything just tasted fresh.
To sum it up, this place has clearly been blessed by the Pizza Gods and I will definitely be ordering again this week on my vacation.

We got the all meat pizza with extra cheese and some hot wings and had it delivered to the pool at our condo rental. The food was delicious and piping hot. The delivery service was super fast — maybe 20 minutes. We were very pleased and would highly recommend.

They have all the random ingredients that the chains do not. Try the Everything Pizza! Speedy delivery too!
