It’s conveniently located, and very friendly. The staff knows most of the charter captains in the area, but they’re cautious about recommending any. (which is a good policy)

Hart’s Landing is a fishing spot right before the Causeway Bridge in Sarasota. There is a bait and tackle store, also a nice dock where boats up pull into. I believe you can have fish cleaned and filleted here as well.
On the other side of the bridge at Causeway Park, there is a huge fishing pier, check that out as well!
