Great atmosphere and outside sitting area. However, drinks are overpriced and very weak. Captain and diets in pint glasses tasted like all cola. Inside sitting area is very small and hot due to the location of the kitchen.

The best pulled pork I have ever had! The chef made everything cooked to order. The smoker is smokin’ our back and the patio is fantastic, with fire pits and all. We will definitely be back!

This is a review of the IceHouse of Saratoga in Saratoga Springs. My wife Tammy and I have been regulars at The Ice House for several years. Tonite, the owner Sean Lynch behaved in a very unprofessional manner in denying my wife Tammara a chair on the Patio, despite the fact that she is terminally ill, and he is aware of that. We will never, ever patronize the Ice House of Saratoga Springs again, and urge all Saratogians to do the same. Mr. Lynch discriminates against disabled patrons, like my wife who is fully disabled and requires handicapped parking even to attend any entertainment venues… shame on him, Check the other reviews about Sean here, he is pompous and arrogant. Great atmosphere great bartenders and the owner is a real down to earth nice guy it’s a great summer time place

Enjoyed the outdoor seating and the live band. The servers if you sit at a table are nice. Outdoor bar area as well as an indoor one. Good amount of beers and the place didnt strike me as too overpriced.

If you are a fat, gay, middle-​aged golfer then you will fit in perfectly when the owner is present

If you’re just looking for a drunk kind of party
Night out and you don’t mind a crowd it’s a good place to chill outside. Don’t order food or mixed drinks, stick with beer, grab a table or get up and dance. Great to people watch too :) if you’re in the mood for loud music and people all around then it can be a fun few hours. Always a crowd at night.

Came here first for the Saratoga Sip and Stroll 2014. I tried to order a round of beer, because I wasn’t interested in the sugar water they were serving, for my friends and the bartender (bald male) was upset that I used my card to pay. Under his breath he cursed thinking that I didn’t hear him and when he returned I asked if something was wrong with my card he said «ya, there are 100 people here and YOU decide to pay with card!»
First off, there were roughly 25 people there considering it was 6pm and the event had just started. Secondly, EVERYONE pays with card. It may have been faster to do so than to have to count out change from a cash transaction don’t you think?
My friends and I will NEVER return. I recently moved out here for work, as did many others I know, and I will make it my mission to steer everyone away from this place.
To be fair, they might offer decent food but I’ll never know considering they have horrible customer service and don’t plan on returning!

During the Sip and Stroll, we decided to skip the juice they called drinks and order a beer instead to get the stroll started. While we closed our tab out, dude said something under his breath. Then when my friend asked him if there was a problem with his card since the man clearly looked flustered, he responded, «yeah, you give me a card when there’s a hundred people here.» First and foremost, the bar was clearly not that popular and it has never been judging by the standoffish attitude of the staff. Secondly, the «hundreds» of people were in line for the free stuff so it’s not like they were flooding the register. Third, who carries cash nowadays?! Lastly, you really don’t have to be a prick when someone is a patron at the place you work for.
Never again…

The bartender made a rude comment when my boyfriend paid with a credit card. My boyfriend asked «is there something wrong with my card?» bartender said «Yes, you decided to pay with a card when there’s a hundred people in line.» RUDE! We will never come here AGAIN!

Overrated.
Have you ever thought to your self… «hmmmm I would love to go watch a terrible band and pay too much for a couple of beers…» if so, the Ice House is the place for you.
If not, there are plenty of bars with good bands and drinks for the same price or cheaper (Dangos, Gaffneys etc.)
This place is hit or miss at best, miss more than hit.

Beer in cans or cups. Nothing special… Except we saw one of the best cover bands I have ever seen. If this band was an example of the music they book then go eat and get your micro brews elsewhere earlier but show up here later to rock and roll!
