Place 2B Relaxation Nails & Spa

First time, nice enough place and friendly staff. I like the privacy in back. What I don’t like is when women bring their kids in, it’s very distracting and unnecessary. A woman had her 2 kids in today and they were running all over! They need to think of others and get a babysitter or don’t come in!

So I went here about a week and a half ago to get a shellac manicure. I had asked for a polish change only, but they did the manicure anyway and I figured I needed the pampering. I really thought they did an excellent job. I enjoyed my time there and had a great experience. I went today to get a shellac polish change. The person doing my nails got up and answer the phone no less than four times. This does not count checking his personal phone. They switched to another person to do my French manicure part. It is already smudging and chipping. I just got it done this afternoon. It took me well over an hour to just get a polish change. It gets frustrating when someone won’t just sit down and do your nails. I ended up paying $ 30 for just a shellac polish change. No manicure, no massage, no nothing. Looks like I will have to find another place to go.

Fantastic and immaculately clean. I had the best pedicure ever. They do a great foot and leg massage in comfortable chairs with relaxing music and dim lighting. I will be going back frequently

Great customer service, and love the attention they take on your nails. Great tunes playing while your relaxing. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a gel or regular manicure. Make an appt or walk ins. I would call ahead they get busy and you could have a long wait for walk ins.

Great service and extremely friendly… It’s a very nice and clean spa I was just searching a spa place and I wasn’t hoping for something special but they surprised me! Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone to try it!

Very clean and the staff is great. I came in and it was super busy. I only had to wait 5 minutes. Mani and pedi came out great. I will def be back.

The best part is the pedicure area. It’s a private area with a curtain. They dim the lights for the massage part. Very luxurious!
I would recommend coming here for everyone. I sent my mom, grandma, sister and friends. You will not be disappointed.

This place is awesome! I’ve been going there for about two months now and I never have a complaint! Today I went and I saw Kayla and she was great! Did exactly what I asked with my nails I was very happy. I would definitely recommend this place!

Love this place! Place is the cleanest nail salon I’ve ever been in. I’ve Been going here for 4 years now and would never go anywhere else. This business is very lucky to have Jack and Vanessa. Two of the nicest people you will ever meet.

This really is as good as it gets.
Price: The price is right! It’s exactly what you would expect for a $$ salon– pedi and gel manicure done for $ 60 total.
Atmosphere: Fantastic… the salon is very chic. As others have mentioned there are private pedicure booths which take your typical pedicure up to the next level! They have great massage chairs and take care to ensure you are comfortable during the pedi. The best part? The MASSAGE. Most of the time a salon will give you a foot massage and it lasts maybe 2 minutes and is half-​assed. Not here. They dim the lights in the private room, ask if you’d like to recline your chair, and they give you a solid 10 minute foot massage. Prior to coming to Place 2B, I don’t think I’ve ever really *enjoyed* a pedicure, but now it’s something that I find exceptionally relaxing.
Service: There must be 30 different people who work here because I’ve never had to wait more than 15 minutes and the place is always packed! The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and kind. Whenever you walk in the first thing they do is offer you water and help you pick out a color and get started. I’ve made appointments before, but I’ve also walked in and had quick service.
Cleanliness: There has never been anything that I’ve seen to question the cleanliness of the salon. The floors are swept regularly, the work stations are tidy, and the staff takes pride in what they do (and wears rubber gloves for certain services).
Quality: My nails look great. No complaints.
Misc: There is plenty of parking in the lot right outside of the building and a Dunkin Donuts next door!

This is the only nail salon I come to now, the private rooms for pedicures are awesome. But when I went yesterday, I booked appointment for two people with two pedicures and two manicures. When we got there (it was my friends first time) they only had it wrote down for one person. I had to wait for my pedicure. Then we had our manicure. The lady who did my nails kept saying they were to shot for french. Im a nurse. i cant have long nails or fake-​so yes, they are short. She only put 1 coat on for the tip & they are uneven. I hate to say it, but this is the first time i was disappointed with place2b. I like to relax for a mani pedi since im spending $ 50+.not rush & be disappointed

My favorite salon. It’s always clean & the staff is great. They are all incredible professional and attentive. They always have the best service and newest colors to choose from.

Came in as a walk in… They took me right away! Was actually surprised at the space and cleanliness of the spa. I was in a rush so the manager took me… She was great! Her name is Vanessa… I’m SUPER PICKY and she was very understanding :) I will definitely become a regular!!!
Following up from my first review… I have become a regular and LOVE the vibe and technicians. Everyone has a fun and great personality. I have been seeing Nan, who I absolutely adore and has to put up with me. I’m not an easy client to say the least. I HIGHHLLYYY RECOMMEND THIS SPA!

Went for a mani pedi today. Sadly my experience was not like most reviews. My pedi was relaxing and massage was nice hence the 2 stars. Salon is set up to be private and relaxing with separate space in back for pedicures. However afterwards when dry my toes were not smooth to the touch. Feels like wasn’t fully buffed before polishing. My nails were the worst part. I asked my technician not to cut them. All nails are short and now uneven. Also, polish color has shadows from not being applied evenly. She even broke 1 of my nails during manicure and asked other staff what to do. It was uncomfortable. She didn’t speak English, so communication was difficult. I think the most disappointing part was every other technician was engaged with customers except the person I had. I felt uncomfortable although woman at front desk offered to have someone else fix them another day, which was professional. Sadly I wouldn’t trust going back.

Went here based on the reviews, I was not disappointed. Love the private rooms for pedicures, and the woman did a great job. She was very meticulous with both my feet and my hands. She was very pleasant and we had a good conversation, I always feel weird if they don’t talk to you! The reason it’s not a five star review, is because when I first arrived it was very awkward and a little uninviting. At first it felt as if I was inconveniencing them by walking in. But was taken care of within a few moments, and once things got rolling it was great! Will definitely be back next time I’m in town!

Very friendly and accommodating– my most picky thing about salons is cleanliness, and I felt like they did a great job! And the pedicure chair/​atmosphere is super relaxing, minus the screeching drying machine haha

This place is Ah-​mazing!
First off they knew my name right when I walked through the door, even though I had never even been here before.
I loved the fact that all of the staff were so friendly and smiling. That’s huge for me.
The pedicure was incredible. I got the place to be signature pedicure. Kayla and Nikki were Both so great. I loved the fact that the pedi chair was far away from everyone and a good portion of it was in the dark. So relaxing! I fell in love with this place and will definitely be coming back. So impressed!

Sadly, Nikki has moved away and is no longer at Place 2 B, however, Veena is incredible!!! A friend of mine raved and raved about Veena but, I had always gone to Nikki and once I have someone I like I stick with them. When Nikki left I gave Veena a chance and. BOOM! Obsessed.
Extraordinary attention to detail, I never have to tell her what I like, she is amazing.
Vanessa hit the nail on the head with her staff, all of them! I love coming hee, I love this place and wouldn’t go anywhere else. It’s worth the drive.
