I am not a regular SuperCuts client, but yesterday afternoon I walked in to get what I was begrudgingly calling a «quick and dirty» chop off of my elbow-length hair. I wasn’t expecting to have the experience that I ended up having there. I wanted to cut my hair short in a attempt to lessen the trauma of it all falling out as I undergo several chemotherapy treatments. I came to SuperCuts because I originally wasn’t looking for anything elaborate, since the hair would be gone in about 2 weeks anyway. I was greeted by Laurie(or Laura, if you’re looking to book her online), and showed her a picture of the wig I would soon be wearing. I told her I wanted to make my hair look as close to the wig as possible, and she told me that would be no problem! Obviously, my circumstances aren’t the most joyful, so I wasn’t overly excited to be cutting my hair but Laurie made me feel so good about everything, and even shared some very encouraging personal stories that I found so uplifting and were so very needed. We were even able to donate the hair that was cut, which was very special. Laurie turned an experience that I had been dreading into a very uplifting, encouraging experience that made all the difference. Not to mention the fact that my hair looks great, and now the transition to the wig will be pretty much seamless! Thank you so much, Laurie, for the great haircut and for offering such incredible kindness and support to a total stranger!

I’ve now gone two times to this establishment. The first time it was just an ok not bad hair cut, but now the second time it was horrible. I knew I should have listened to my gut and never went to a Super Cuts. The first time the lady was in a rush and finished my hair in 10 min and then ran out the door because her shift was over. Same with the second time. It seems like they rush your service due to the charge is $ 16.90 there for if you have only a $ 20 in your pocket they automatically get a $ 3 tip they don’t deserve. Also the lady that cut my hair went to the Voke for cosmetology and honestly I’ve gone there for high school and its not the best most seriously taken shop. The girl was a hack and weed wacked my head and only cared about her top and always rushing to get out of work or getting more people through. Now maybe it was my fault for not asking to see the back of my head with a mirror but it’s called customer service and business, not a hack job that hires under qualified workers with no customer service. Like I said I’ve gone two times and I won’t be screwed over agin I gave them a chance. You ask for a haircut and you don’t get what you ask and they don’t listen.

I agree with a lot of the reviews but there are 2 stylists who are amazing who work here. Tina who has been working here forever and there’s a long line of people who wait for her but if Lydia is available DEFINITELYGOTOHER! She has been cutting my hair every 2 weeks for a couple of months now and she is amazing. She gets how to cut mens hair and takes the time to perfect it. The quality is worth way more than the $ 16 they charge. Lydia is probably the best stylist I’ve had in a few years.

humans are creatures of habit. I unfortunately fit that category to the T. Ive been going to the same Supercuts location for years? I really should try to break away from the same routine and find /follow an established grounded stylist. It seams that this place is nothing more then a quick stop for transient beauty school hitchhikers. Sometimes I feel like ive been abducted by timid assembly line workers… but then again more often than not I get lucky and find the right stylist /haircut and that keeps me going back albeit(sadly) never to the same person just location… but than again I might get lucky?

I went here a couple of weeks ago and the person who cut my hair did a horrible job. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and at the end it looked like she only cut the hair on the right side of my head. The right side was all chopped up and the left side looked like it wasn’t even touched. It was horrible. I got a wash, cut and dry. And apparently my hair was really long so they charged me extra. I NEVEREVER had to pay extra because my hair was too long. My hair wasn’t even long! Wash, Cut, Dry, and the«Long Hair Fee» came down to $ 47.50!!! I never paid this much for all this. The only good thing that came out of this was the nice smelling shampoo. I’m sure the other hair stylist are alright(hopefully) but this particular person who cut my hair isn’t good. So beware…

Whenever you go into a Super Cuts or similar establishment it seems like a mixed bag because not every stylist has the same skill level. If you find someone you like though, you’re golden, because the haircuts are very affordable. These places are great for guys because it always seems stupid to drop fifty bucks to cut 1⁄8 of an inch of hair. But if you want a fade, you may not come out with the desired result. Fortunately, a particular stylist, Kayla, seems to love doing fades and she’s very good at them. She’s fun to talk to and she’s fast, I’m usually in and out in 20 minutes with a perfect fade. What I don’t like about this location is the parking. Between Pet Smart, Trader Joes, Starbucks and the plethora of other stores and services, the lot just isn’t big enough and you could be circling and circling on a weekend.

I was am in a financial pinch and someone suggested Dana, the manager for doing my color with foils. I was nervous of having my blondes foiled in fear my hair would be fried and Dana did a fantastic job. My hair was colored today so I will wait a few weeks before deciding if I want to give Supercuts a second chance.

quick and cheap, but you do get what you pay for… they cut my hair dry, not even spritzing it, and I found it to be very uneven when I got home… that also doesn’t do any favors for its texture, but I guess I could have paid extra for a shampoo… Not a great cut, but decent for an in-between style trim. We do take our young son there with mostly decent results — the manager is really the best we’ve worked with, she’s good with him and gives him a nice predictable cut. Others have had more mixed results.

If you need a quick cut and don’t want to spend a lot of money, this is a good place to go. It is the first place that I’ve gotten my hair cut where the hairstylist asked me to stand up while she cut my hair. I know it was long, but it seemed very odd. Took about 5 minutes to get my hair cut and cost 16 bucks. Pretty good service, lots of parking in front.
