Just your standard CVS, but five star props for the pharmacy workers! Forgot my meds on this trip, had to call in a gap prescription to tide me over until I returned to Michigan. Initial cost for 8 pills– $ 33.00! The pharmacy peeps spent over an hour on the phone with Blue Cross explaining my situation until they authorized the meds. Final Cost — 47 cents! Mahalo nui loa to Emily and the other pharmacy workers, you really helped me out of a jam! Will repeat when I’m in the area and highly recommend!

Does customer service really exist anymore? Walked in to pick up a prescription from the pharmacy on a Saturday morning @ 9am — no greeting– no «hi how are you” — just looking down like I didn’t exist! Not even«I’ll be with you in a moment» — they just seemed angry! Its obviously not that important– after all they will get the business– not that many pharmacies to choose from–

I went to the minute clinic after being exposed to strep and having a sore throat. The doctor told me that 90% of sore throats in adults are viral and didn’t look at my throat or do a strep test(and actually suggested that my throat could be sore from an STD when she has just been told I had been exposed to strep!). She didn’t charge me, but she also didn’t help. I left there and went to an urgent care center. They immediately swabbed my throat but said they would treat either way because I had been exposed. Of course I tested positive and they gave me antibiotics and steroids. I bought throat lozenges there and the cashier was very friendly though. I would recommend the store, but don’t bother with the minute clinic.

It’s a typical CVS. The pharmacy and front clerks are not the sweetest… always seems like they wish they were elsewhere. No smiles just strictly about business. The store has a decent selection of the items you normally go to the drugstore for.
