Happy Nails

The place is filthy & cluttered. Saw roach crawling on the floor. The sink to wash your hands had gray matter around the fixtures. The staff was pleasant & the gel manicure was just ok. I had to tweek it myself at home. I would not dare get a pedicure there.

This happened to be one of the only nail salons open today (Labor Day) at 4 PM, so my mom and I decided to stop by. I’ll admit, when you first drive by and then walk in it looks a little unpromising, but the looks do not reflect the staff or service. The two women that were working were incredibly nice and friendly, and they did a really great job on our feet. And it was pretty cheap! She made my feet soft and way less embarrassing (they were bad) and it was only like $ 22!
The reason I am giving this 3 stars is because of my shellac manicure. She didn’t do a very good job and I’m not happy with it. I may go to another salon when I get home and have them fix it.
Bottom line — if you want a cheap, good pedicure come here but walk right past the shellac!

The technicians are skilled and know what they’re doing, which is why I was disappointed when they blatantly ignored simple sanitary precautions. I am going to beauty school now and one of the most important things is sanitation; files should be disposed of after each use. I do not want someone else’s nail dust going into my fingers. The electric files and standard files were all covered in someone else’s nail dust. Not too comforting. There was a container of barbicide, but nothing was in it. I have yet to find a nail place in Savannah with simple health code procedures though, so it’s definitely not the worst. I, myself, though, will keep looking.

I went to this place solely on reading previous reviews from others. I’m glad I listened to you guys. The staff here was so on point, everyone was nice and knew what they were doing.
Yes, the place is old and dated looking but they definitely make up for it in service.
I would go back to this little place in a heart beat!

Horrible and filthy. Went for a mani/​pedi but walked out in the middle of my manicure when I saw roaches crawling inside the case that held cuticle cutter, file, etc. Disgusting!!!

Love this place! It’s a complete hole-​in-​the-​wall, but they do very nice, very cheap manicures. For less than I’ve paid at any other salon in Savannah (so far) for a basic manicure, I got a deluxe manicure at Happy Nails.
