This place is excellent. I ordered the spicy beef bulgogi and it was simple yet classic. Will definitely come here again!

I stopped by this place when I was craving some Korean and hibachi food. Man this place was DELICIOUS! Seriously a hidden gem in savannah. I ordered the filet, chicken and shrimp combo for two people and my total bill was only $ 35. the quality of the food was delicious fresh and better than the other Japanese steakhouses that charge over $ 60 for this type of meal. Really nice and friendly. The service great would recommend this for people looking for a hibachi meal for a great price and great quality. Will be coming back again!

It’s not bad, it’s not great. The good: Friendly, attentive service (Looks to be husband wife with husband as chef who came and checked on us as well) Soup/salad typical and tasty Bulgogi medium spiced if a little over cooked Not so good: No alcohol Very old soda machine with very little carbonation Very little variety on menu.(Beef, chicken, shrimp, or combinations of) Shrimp are not de-veined and were very over cooked It scratched the itch for bulgogi for tonight but doubt we will return.

Actually 3.5 star given I found this in an unassuming strip mall in Savannah. Literally Mom-and-pop place as there seemed to be a man and woman(spouses?) doing everything for a place with about 10 tables and counter seating. I did not try the Udon as most reviewers rave about but had the«combo» dish with«teppan yaki» style meat«bulgogi”-chicken-shrimp stir fry and rice/side sauted veggies. A small soup was rather bland. Everything tasted ok, if nothing to write home about. Portion/price reasonable. I don’t know enough about Savannah food scene but this is probably a «sure thing» if one wants to have no-frill Japanese/Korean food at reasonable price.

The people who run this place(a family I assume, as there was a child doing homework at the back table) seem very sweet and friendly. Unfortunately, the udon I had, which was touted as the«best in town» by another Unilocaler, was not good. Not at all. There’s an Asian mart in the same mini mall, which is where I can only assume they bought the instant udon noodles for my soup and for my guy’s ramen. The broth had literally no flavor to it. I don’t think it was a chicken or beef or fish broth, and I added some soy sauce in a desperate attempt to get some flavor — any flavor — into my soup. I also asked for and received some chili flakes, which was nice. There were some scallions and some nori strips added, but they didn’t help with the flavor, either. I’m really sorry to give this such a low rating, because like I said, the people who run this seem like genuinely nice people. But the food wasn’t good and definitely wasn’t worth the $ 24 we paid for gyoza and two soups. Also, they don’t have beer or wine, so we couldn’t even drown our sorrows … which are copious. I’m just really sad that people considered this hot bowl of nothing to be the best Savannah has to offer in the way of udon. Please promise me that when you go to another city — any other city: Jacksonville, Charleston, Atlanta, Orlando, whatever — you will go for a real bowl of udon.

This is a great little family restaurant, and the owners were both very sweet and welcoming. Both my husband and I had the Korean Bulgogi, Dukbokki, and tofu soup, which packed a lot of flavor! We love this place, and this was a great way to our Savannah getaway!
