After the nightmarish experience we had here we were offered a refund without being able to receive our items or we could come back for another try. We opted for a simple apology from the employee who apparently refused and was let go. While the employee’s behavior was utterly shocking and entirely uncalled for it was not the business owner’s fault so I’m adjusting my rating to neutral. I’m not sure if I’ll ever go back here, but only time will tell.

I love Starlight Pottery and I am a repeat customer, but I absolutely will not be returning as long as Jennifer is working there. My friends and I reserved a table there for a bachlorette party. We were having a wonderful time until Jennifer decided to cause a loud scene over a bottle of paint in front of everyone. Her behavior was completely uncalled for and made the entire experience very uncomfortable for everyone. At this point I’m not very confident that I will receive my pottery in one piece. :(

Friendly staff, central location, and clean studio. I’ve only been to Starlight once but will be back on my next trip through Savannah. Great spot for a creative date!

I love Starlight pottery! I like to go in when Jennifer is working, she is very friendly and helpful and can really make a difference in the overall atmosphere of the studio. She will also sit down and help you with anything. I can’t say the other staff are quite as outgoing, but still polite. The prices are a little high($ 16 for a basic bowl or plate…) but I haven’t priced other pottery studios lately so maybe they are right in line with everyone else, but still $ 16 is a lot for a bowl or plate. This also includes all the paint, supplies, studio time, they clean up everything and fire the pottery for you, so I suppose for the work they put it in may justify the cost.

The Matthew Reardon Center for Autism went to Starlight Pottery and had a wonderful time. The staff was very helpful and knowledgable.

I was very disappointed this summer when I signed up my 3 girls for a week camp for 2 hrs a day. The owner, Nicole, was very unprofessional and intimidated my children. This may sound strange, but one of the projects required them to paint a mustache or lips on a mug. My children asked If they could leave theirs plain and she got very upset. The next day, when I stopped by to check on them, they were separated from the summer camp group and were given a plate to paint with no instructions or support. I paid $ 125 per child to attend this camp and never expected this. The money does’nt concern me as much as how my children were treated. I would not recommend this business to any family oriented person. I am a certified teacher and would never treat children with this lack of respect. If you are wanting to paint pottery with your child, there is another place in downtown Savannah that does a great job!

This was fun, but expect to spend at least two hours and 20 bucks.
