I’ve been in about 5 – 6 times now (sometimes on my own and sometimes with others) and always enjoy the selections that are poured for me. The staff are all super knowledgable and make what could be an intimidating experience very approachable. Go.

This place is a gem. I’m not sure why it was not crowded when I went in on a Friday night with four of my friends. I was able to find a really nice corner for us.
The service is great. There was only one person working but he took the time to help us decide what wine to get. I was able to sample two different kinds of wine and the sample size was good, more than how much a tasting room would give you. This was really helpful since I wasn’t sure what to get. They serve wine based cocktails too. The sangria my friend got was pretty good. There are options available for beer lovers as well but they don’t serve regular cocktails.
The food options are limited, only certain kinds of platters, like cheese and meat platters are available, that goes well with the wine. DON’T FORGET HALF PRICE WINE BOTTLES EVERYDAY FROM 5pm to 7pm.
The prices are really reasonable. I would totally recommend this place to anyone who loves and enjoys drinking wine.

Contemporary wine war. Wide selection of excellent wines, dispensed by the glass. Spacious and contemporary. I suspect this place fills up, and gets noisy. The hair rounding glass windows look out on the verdant Savannah cityscape from the ground-​level Windows. Vino Veritas has a light, friendly atmosphere with good service. The bartender has a basic knowledge of wine, but was not an oenophile. They were open to offering a taste prior to purchase after narrowing down to a few choices with discussion. In this way Vino Veritas has struck a nice balance between a neighborhood bar and a hangout for aficionados.

Very nice atmosphere. It appears to operate best on Friday and Saturday nights. Not very many people here on a Monday night, that is, about eight people. Wine selection is fantastic, and the service is incredibly polite and knowledgeable. The food selection is extremely limited, only two entrées plus a dessert entre. The bathrooms look more like something in a gas station then a wine bar.
Still, this is a fun place, and well worth a visit.

A very clever name is not all this joint has going for it! The fiancé’ and I were floored with our experience at In Vino Veritas. First off, how often do you go to a bar and have the owner serve you? Not very often, I say! Nolan (the owner and bartender) is fantastic. He know so much about wine, craft beer, and wine etiquette it is amazing. We walked in 10 minutes after happy hour and he still offered us the ½ off bottles happy hour special — which we fully enjoyed and were so grateful for! This all-​around-​good-​guy runs an all-​around-​great-​wine-​bar with wine on-​tap, a great selection of craft beer (a Savannah favorite) and he can answer ANY question about wine, beer, or tastings that you throw at him. He is so pleasant and accommodating, and the atmosphere is chic, clean, and contemporary. This is the ultimate «stop by for a drink with friends after work» location. I hope to see IVV stay lively on the Savannah scene for years to come (I know I will be enjoying it!)

Excellent selection of wines! I appreciate the half carafe offering and the flights. The atmosphere was great. I was surprised that there were not more people since it was a Friday evening. The bartender had great wine recommendations and suggestuons about places to eat. I suggest that they serve some snacks… I might have had more wine! Great music selection.

Very nice, clean establishment. The bartender was very informative and we had some great wine. We only stopped in for some wine and to check the place out and we were impressed. It’s a great place to stop in either before or after dinner.

Wine on tap? Who would have thought? I had the Petit Syrah and it was as good as one that would have come from a bottle! Also had the cheese platter which was the perfect amount. All in all– really great experience. A must try.

My first time coming in, I noticed how chic but intimate the space was. It has very clean lines that appeal to working folk, but can also be young and fresh. There’s even a couch seating area right in front of a large mirror. Selfie station?
Anyway, the servers were very helpful in picking out new options for us all. Their charcuterie plates are so yummy in accompaniment with the wine. If I had one criticism, it would be to add even more little shareables to the menu. Wine pairs beautifully with food. Having a little more bite to go with your sips might keep people in a little longer.
For such a beautiful spot, it really doesn’t pack out much. So, I’m here to announce: stop what you’re doing and go to In VIno Veritas for Happy Hour or after work cocktails. It’s right in Drayton Towers and they have amazing selections of wine and beer. If you want to class it up some, put on a nice sweater vest and come into this cool new spot. JK about that sweater vest though. It can stay nestled into the regret pile in your closet.

After stuffing our face at the Greek festival last Friday, we decided to try the wine bar. It was fairly busy and only 1 person (a lovely woman) behind the bar. My 1^st thoughts: we aren’t going to get good service and it’s going to take forever. For once, I was glad I was wrong. She was friendly and worked her a** off.
I decided to start with the pomegranate sangria ($ 6)…I know, I know but I’m a sucker for sangria and it did not disappoint. My boyfriend tried a pinot noir ($ 10). The pinot was served cold which took us by surprise but it wasn’t bad. Very earthy flavor. 2^nd round: I decided to try the blood orange sangria this time. It tasted kind of life a fizzy orange soda. Not bad but I’ll stick with the red sangria. We also got a flight ($ 10) and you choose 3 wines. We tried a rose called hog wash (it smelled awful!), a blend that we’d never heard of before and a malbec. I was impressed with how much wine was in each glass and the malbec was fantastic. The other two… not so much but that’s what it’s all about. Can’t complain. We tried 3 new wines for $ 10. Score! He also tried the other pinot noir and liked it better than the 1^st.
We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back. It’s a nice place. It did get a tad loud in there but there was a 30^th bday party going on near us. Oh we didn’t try any but they do offer a cheese board and some chocolates. Will have to try that next time! Enjoy!

I love this place. You can grab a nice glass of wine for a decent price in an unpretentious spot. The staff is really chill and make great recommendations. I have been to a few events here and it accommodates large and small parties very well.
Also, they have a nice selection of craft brews.

I loved the clean and modern design of this wine bar. They have wines on tap, flights of wine and beer, as well of bottles of wine. The bartender was nice, informative and not overbearing. If I was a local, I’d come here after work on a weekly basis.

Had dinner here for our 6 month anniversary. The bar is unique in itself. We were secluded in the couch area and enjoyed a charcuterie and cheese plate with out ice wine and cosmosas. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Nice ambiance, and drinks were worth the price.

My wife and I stopped in on a recent visit to Savannah and Emily was more then accommodating. First I had just purchased a small growler and I was enjoying my beer so she didn’t mind us coming in and I kept drinking my beer. My wife was in heavy with the kegged wine, apparently it keeps it ultra fresh by not exposing the wine to air till finally poured. My wife enjoyed the wine flights of both white and red. Emily gave christina a bunch of different tastes to see if she could find something else she would like. The food options are semi limited but they have cheese and charcuterie plates prepped by a local restaurant that were wonderful and just the right amount of food when enjoying a wine flight. We will most likely stop back here when we are in savannah again.

This has become a favorite spot to meet up with friends after work for happy hour! It has a very open, bright and comfortable vibe. The staff is super helpful when wanting to try out a new wine. We also love that the happy hour specials aren’t just during the week but on the weekend as well.

Wine on tap and a large selection is the best combo. Plus it is located in my favorite building in Savannah and is a large space.
The owner is very nice and knows his wine.

I really like this wine bar in downtown Savannah. With half price bottles of wine during their weekday happy hour (making some as cheap as $ 20!) and an extensive selection of modestly priced wine on tap, the super friendly staff is just an added bonus.
The space is bright and the décor is minimal yet beautiful. Truly a great spot to unwind in a fantastic location.

Never been disappointed by this place! It’s perfect for a before meal appetizer or post dinner apéritif. The selection of tapped wine is fantastic and has something for everyone. Everyone that works here is incredibly knowledgeable and will help you find a glass of wine you didn’t know you loved! Perfect for a large party or an intimate date– don’t miss this place!
