Fairly standard Mexican menu. Fish tacos were overfilled on out of the bag tortillas, but bland and not exciting. Same for the tableside guac: plentiful but bland. And the nacho chips were stale.

I will think twice about trying a recommended restaurant. I visited on taco Tuesday and ordered taco because I simply love Baka tacos. Thoroughly disappointed

This was the MOSTHORRIBLEFOODINTHEWORLD… the waitress was bad and condescending… no wonder it was empty when we walked in.

Sent here from hotel concierge with free drinks. Crab cakes were good but my wife’s shrimp was over cooked. We mentioned that to the waitress and she insisted they bring us more. The second batch was also over cooked. I give them A for effort but B– for execution.

The food was pretty good! I ordered the surf and turf nachos and the serving was huge. My family enjoyed their food as well.(Shrimp tacos with the mango salsa and chicken fundi). The drinks were ok and were pretty cheap. I would definitely come again when visiting Savannah.

Okay so my co worker and I went here on a transport trip. They brought the wrong order first so i had to have it redone. The correct order was okay at best. The sweet tea is excellant with the ice being small and crunchy. The margarita was the best I ever had, but for free(or so I thought) since we came on a special where they offer a free one with the purchase of an entrée. The staff needs help with basic math and customer service skills and I was charged with two margaritas when I only had one. I was just ready to get the hell on, but i did show the waiter where they messed up on the bill. Bottom line: This place needs work seriously with common everyday math.

Waitress forgot our appetizer, crab cake has too much breading and was over cooked. Drinks didn’t taste like any alcohol was in them. Price was wrong from the menu to the bill, won’t be back any time soon. Not terrible but could be better.

They seemed very put out to sit us, even though their was only a couple people in the place. The waitress was nice enough, the food was so, so. Not going back.

I had a nice little lunch here during a touristy day passing by River Street. My waitress could not have been sweeter and more attentive. The white cheese dip was super tasty and the chips that came with it were nice and warm & salty. I got a chicken tender salad which was served with two generous sides of dressing, can’t really mess up a salad. They gave me a to go cup for my cocktail so I could enjoy the weather. All of that for $ 28(before tip) wasn’t too bad. I would go back for the kind service, yummy drinks, and cool location for people watching– especially if you can score a balcony seat.

This place was fun and delicious! Located above the famous cobblestone, it’s a casual place to grab a bite to eat and relax. Get the chips and salsa!

Great option on River Street especially if you don’t want seafood. Great cheese dip! Parmesan Chicken Chimichanga is awesome!

Absolutely horrible. Walked in to about 6 servers standing around the hostess station looking lost. The place was busy but not packed. After our order was taken it took about 20 minutes to get out food. In the meantime our server never came out over to check in us or refill drinks. And let me tell you, the wait was not worth it. None of us liked our food. I ordered a dish with sausage in it and I swear the sausage must have been marinated in dish soap. I can’t think of one good thing to say except tat when I complained about my Palmolive sausage special they did comp it. There are too many better options around than to sink to this level.

Four-star rating based off the $ 4 – 6 price range on their fantastic margaritas alone! Cool ambience and locale. Food is mediocre but it does not really matter because two frozen margaritas in and you won’t care what you’re eating! You can also get a ticket for a free margarita per entrée from one of the guides out on River Street. Get the peach-pomegranate margarita… you won’t be sorry!

This is my favorite Mexican/Southwestern restaurant in Savannah! The crab dip is the absolute best I’ve ever had! The shrimp quesidilla is also delicious. It is made with very large fresh shrimp.

Awesome large, casual joint on River Street. We were seated immediately on their balcony overlooking the water. Our servers were Whitney & Tiffany, they took great care of us. Drinks and food were delivered quickly. I ordered the Cobb salad and I do believe it is the best salad I’ve ever had. For $ 9.95 you get this PLATE of salad with rows of bleu cheese, bacon, guacamole, tomatoes and boiled egg. This was so, so good. It was enough salad for 3 people, if we hadn’t been 4 hours from home I would’ve boxed this thing up and would be eating it right now. The BF got the Grouper Reuben which is just as it sounds. Grouper filet on rye, with slaw and sauce. He ate every bite. I would eat here all the time if we lived close. The place is large and clean, employees are terrific. Great food with very reasonable prices.

We came early enough on Memorial Day to beat the crowd and sat in one of the 32nd floor outdoor patios that are what we call«VIP seating» and had a great view of river street and the river. Really cool place!

We had excellent service when we were there, but the food was subpar. The prices were at the same level as most of the other restaurants on River Street, however the food was below average. Both my boyfriend and I had grilled shrimp and broccoli and both tasted far from fresh. It is possible we just ordered an unpopular option on the menu, because some of the food walking past us looked good. I do have to point out that their Skinny Margarita was delicious! It was made with fresh lime juice(instead of sour mix) and agave nectar. Definitely recommend that drink if you go!

I enjoyed this little joint. We were seated on a private balcony that overlooked the cobblestone street and the river. Our server was very nice, not anything extraordinary, but got our order correct and refilled our drinks. The food was good, not great, but the portions were large. I had the alligator quesadilla and my husband had the shrimp and bacon quesadilla. Personally I liked his more.

I came to this coast to try Low Country Boil and I found it here with boiled Tiger Shrimp(½ lb) the size of my thumb with drawn butter and cocktail sauce, delicious! I also dined on a couple local caught crab cakes, more cab than cake, also delicious! By bride had a «too» large Cobb salad, very good! The wait staff was spot on and helpful! I wished I lived nearby I’d come more often.

We lunched here when our trolly tour stopped — across the street. Right along the river, it is located well to simply walk around after eating.
