Live music awesome. Drinks are well made and beer cheap and cold. Steamed shrimp good nice tabasco and butter marinade.

A dive bar right on River Street? Sign me up! Prepare to smell like friend food when you leave here. I’m totally fine with that, just be warned if you have to go somewhere fancy later. We drank here two different times during our bachelorette adventures in Savannah. We did some day drinking on a Friday and ended our night here on the Saturday. The afternoon was fun. Met a lot of locals. Saturday night was a blast. Live music, cheap beer, and shots flowing. One warning: there is only one bathroom. So, be prepared for a line if the place is busy. This place reminds me a lot of the old Dixie’s Tavern in Charlotte. Trust me, that’s a good thing. The Warehouse is a definite pop in stop for drinks if you’re walking by the river.

Rude bartender. We enjoyed the live music, but she was really snappy when I told her to split the bill. She even told me, «No, one tab.» I’m sorry, sugar, but there are four of us. And I’m not paying $ 30 when I wanted an Angry Orchard. And don’t shake your head and say, «Kids…» Either. I may be young, but I obviously know customer service a tad better than she did.

True to its slogan the Warehouse has the cheapest coldest beer in town. It was a fun dive bar located right on River St. The staff is very friendly and served ice cold beer to numerous patrons with a smile.

I went here and ordered a Purple Haze beer and fried green tomatoes. The beer was indeed cold and at $ 5.50– I had two. The tomatoes were ok. They tasted good but they were not cooked crispy. They were kind of slimy. I had to eat them with a fork and, to me, fried green tomatoes should be finger foods. The dipping sauce was good.

The best shrimp I’ve ever had! The warehouse was recommended to my husband and I by Savannah Dan, a walking tour guide in Savanah. He recommended we grab a cold beer and an order of shrimp, and holy cow was he right! Their shrimp are cooked in what seems to be a mixture of butter, old bay seasoning, and garlic. The result is a lb of steamy hot shrimp on this delectable orange almost creamy sauce. They are to die for! We ended up eating 2 lbs of shrimp, along with a few cold beers, while watching the rain fall on the river. The warehouse is more bar than restaurant, and definitely a hole in the wall, but that’s what adds to the appeal. I highly recommend it! !

Definitely the cheapest beer but they need to work on their customer service. I would have given it zero stars if it weren’t for the great prices. What happened to the southern hospitality? This place has never heard of it.

It’s a great place to get a cold, delicious Illusive Traveler Grapefruit Ale but they have over 20 beers on tap! I had the Veggie Blackbean burger –Fire in the Hole — with the tater tots. It was fabulous – the best veggie burger ever! My hubby loved his beef burger too. The bartender Sarah remembered us from the night before & knew what beers to serve us. The bouncer remembered us too — everyone very friendly! It’s a bit of a dive but very nice — just the rustic style makes it «divish». Don’t miss this place when on the waterfront in Savannah!

Food and drinks were great. Had the loaded fries, fried tomatoes and fried pickles. All tasted great, but the service was horrible. Erin the bartender was the worst I’ve experienced in years. Probably, you’re in the wrong business Erin. Sorry your life sucks, but you don’t have to take it out on customers.

My first experience with mixed drinks in Savannah happened at the Warehouse. I was enticed by the doorman to try the famous Auxiliary punch. He threw out words like strong, tasty, and free souvenir cup. He had me at the last bit. So, I wandered in and ordered one. At first, I was taken aback by it being $ 8. Then again, it is River Street, so everything is taxed for ambiance. But hey, free cups are great too. I truly understand the price. One of these will have you feeling bubbly all night. It tastes a bit like a Long Island, but with an added hint of bad decisions. I’ve never ordered anything else from The Warehouse. Once you find a good thing, you kind of stick to it. It’s a fun spot with live music, cool bartenders and one hell of a door guy. All the free cups I’ve collected over time make awesome lemonade jugs and interesting conversation starters.

OK guys, c’mon…is it reeeeaaally the cheapest beer on the boardwalk? (secret: it’s not! Go to the River Street liquor and get some beers to go! 425 E River St) OK, still, this is a good place to pop in, get filled up, and pop out. It’s the filling station. For your plastic tank, that goes in your hand. Shockingly good beer on tap for a place that seemed like a frat party full of chug-friendly kegs. Prices were also decent, given the area.(not the best though…)

Seems like a pretty laid back bar on River St but we didn’t stay all that long. We were in on a Tuesday night so it was pretty slow. We were still up for a good time but, the bartender seemed pretty apathetic about us being there. We tried to strike up conversation and break down her bummer mood but, she wasn’t interested. Had a shot and a beer, then a roadie for good measure. I’d give them another shot based on other reviews and the fact that the draft list was pretty solid. Better luck next time Warehouse.

We stopped by for«Beers to go» since you are able to walk the street with your drink as long as it’s in a plastic cup. Good cold beers, served quick on River St. This place isn’t very big, but it makes up for it in other ways. The food is decent, mostly fried, but good. Beer prices are about average for the area, unless you catch their weekday happy hour. It is great for a couple of cold beers along the river. Atmosphere is like a cave with a bar. Add a few friends, bar food and some music and you’ve got good times.

Love the open air feel, but boy does it smell like grease! I’m definitely a lover of fried foods, but smelling like it after not even eating any? Eek. Service was great though — really friendly & beers were cold!

Dark, dirty looking place. Typical local looking bar in the middle of the chaotic area. Today was a buy day at river street.(Not sure how other days are since today was my 1st day there) but this place wasn’t packed. Decided to go there for dinner because of the review saying«live music » … There weren’t a band. there was a guy singing. He was pretty good. When he wasn’t playing they do have on good music like rolling stones, red hot chili pepper, nirvana etc… We ordered Ruben and cheese steak sandwich and fries. It was a good greasy bar food. They cooked it right. They had a small open kitchen where u can see the cook cooking. Little area to play pool in the back. And individual TV at each tables that I thought it was pretty cool for a place like this . Server was attentive and nice. The guy at the front who checks ID was very funny. :)

The Warehouse seems to be THE watering spot for weekenders and tourists passing through Savannah. Their beer selection isn’t much to rave about, they have what appears to be a full-bar, and both times I’d been there they had live music playing near the front, and various sports games playing on the TVs around the walls near the seats. The big plus for the Warehouse seems to be that it is still somewhat decently populated on Sunday nights where every other bar in town looks like a ghost town; on any other day it’s just another stop for a Bachelor/Bachelorette Party Bar Crawl on River Street. Oh, and the bathroom here smells like marshmallows and cinnamon for some reason.

So I just got back from Afghanistan and ran 5 miles this fine evening and basically felt like having an American burger. I’ve been here before and had a hankering. So I took my friend and ordered an American burger with an egg and slice of pineapple, I also ordered an American beer on draft from Southland and it was oh so good. All the meantime the band was playing my American favorites like Born on the Bayou and songs like that. Basically it was the best American meal I could have asked for, with good service, cold beer, and all the ambiance of being on River street with a beautiful American sunset. The Warehouse is where it’s at if you’re an American… Fact. I’m also glad to be back in America… Fact. Ice cold beer… Fact. Good burgers… Fact. Thanks Mike!(General Manager who personally saw to it that my burger was outstanding and beer was ice cold).
