Terrible service… I came in and was told I should sit at the bar because they’re understaffed with only one waitress and they had reservations. When I surveyed the restaurant portion, there were literally two table… I told the hostess I’d wait for a table, he said there’d be a 45 minute wait… Really??? After about 5 minutes and discussing it was the waitress, they decided they could seat me… Food was great, but way too upidy for me

I ordered the duck breast over lentils with a bacon date jam. To my surprise what WOWED me with this dish was not the duck breast but actually the lentils and bacon date jam! I practically licked every bit of it off my plate. :)

Loved this farm to table restaurant. We shared the beet salad as a starter, bright colors and fresh flavors. I had the fish special and hubby had the flank steak. Both were seasoned well and thoroughly enjoyed. Restaurant in lobby of Andaz hotel and plenty of street parking.

Located in Andaz Hotel right across the street from Ellis Square, this farm to table restaurant has delicious food and excellent presentation. The interiors are nice and the staff are knowledgeable in the menu and options. They were able to make sure my food was gluten free.

Delicious, fresh and locally so produce. Friendly & welcoming staff. I had the beet grapefruit pistachio salad and my husband had the local greens with fresh veggies & buttermilk. He had the steak with amazing green beans and I had the asparagus goat cheese crepes. We were thoroughly pleased with our first dining experience in Savannah.

Just ok. Was excited to read about a farm to table restaurant in Savannah but was underwhelmed by the food. Ordered the dinner special, a flounder fillet, that was crispy and delicious though served with a tired and withered up mélange of very dry mushrooms. The best part of the dinner was the delicious bread – 3 types, all made on site – with sweet butter and freshly ground pepper. Limited wine selections. Excellent service and very nice atmosphere. Oh well.

Fantastic food! The menu was very unique, all their food is organic and locally grown and you cab absolutely tell! All our food was perfectly timed from appetizers to dessert so that there was little time between courses. My favorite part was their Gouda and sweet potato bread!

Probably one of the better restaurants in Savannah. I had the bisque and a salad for dinner because I had a huge lunch. But both were very good. The breads were good too. My friends had a stew and the steak. Both were reportedly very good. The cocktails were also tasty and there’s ample beer choices. Oddly a reservation was difficult to come by but the restaurant was mostly empty when we arrived at 630p. So if you can’t get in on Opentable you may want to call or drop by.

Lovely bar with artisan cocktails served Southern hospitality. Great for meeting up for drinks with someone you want to woo or impress without pretense. The food is delicious, and hearty. The location is for good people watching, too.

Second time here. Small and intimate, with Bowie and Floyd sneaking in from the lobby. Pretentious fare but with low key, friendly service. Cocktails strong and tasty, no shy pours. My duck was outstanding and my wife’s scallops were fantastic. We’ll be back. Update: After reflecting on our walk back to the hotel I realize I missed a couple of key items in my review. Also reading some of the other comments that were made I was compelled to add to my initial review. First I agree with some of the other comments that I’ve read, the bread is ridiculously delicious. Don’t know if it’s the bread or the salted peppered butter. I was almost full before the meal came. When we came last time I got the orange glazed pork belly. If there was one disappointment we had on this trip was that that item was no longer on the menu. Hopefully it will make a return in the near future. With that said though the duck breast was one of the best duck meals I’ve had out. The bacon date jam with the lentils was a perfect accompaniment to the duck. We make it a point to visit the Pink House each time we come to Savannah, though I think 22 Square might be our new favorite. I’ll let you know more tomorrow after we eat at PH.

I’m here for breakfast and dinner on occasions. The menu is always changing and always use local ingredients. The breads are all made in house and be prepared to be amazed.

I found this place on Unilocal and it was very highly reviewed. I reviewed the menu ahead of time and was intrigued by many of the offerings. It looked like their dedication to local sourcing showed. I always appreciate a restaurant that sources locally. I started with the charcuterie plate which had 4 different meats and I enjoyed them all. There had been a cheese plate on the menu I saw online, but it wasn’t on the menu the night I went which was I was a little disappointed in because what goes better with charcuterie than nice cheeses? I also had their signature gin and tonic which was spot on. For my entrée, I had the hangar steak and fries with garlic aioli, and I added a side of brussel sprouts. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The fries were not very note worthy and there was a mountain of them. I would have preferred 1⁄3 as many fries and have them seasoned in any way to make them interesting. Just adding some sea salt and cracked pepper would have gone a long way. The aioli was pedestrian. My mom got the red snapper and she had no complaints, but she also is not much of a foodie either. My server, Emma, did a fantastic job. Her level of service was the perfect balance of attention without becoming intrusive. She made an excellent wine suggestion for me after I explained what I was looking for. At first I wasn’t a huge fan of the wine, but it paired exquisitely with my meal and definitely added to my experience. Owing the the locally sourced ingredients and solid menu, I would try it again, but I don’t think I would order the hangar steak again. If it was paired with a chimichuri and maybe vegetables or rice, I might order it again, but definitely not as the steak frites. Overall, I would say it is a good restaurant with many options that look good on the menu. They deserve credit for the local sourcing. I believe I just made a poor choice and would give it another shot if I’m down there again.

This was the best meal we had in Savannah. Our first night we tried to walk in, but they were only seating patrons with reservations. I made a reservation for the next night on OpenTable. The interior was modern and fun. Our server was genuinely nice and attentive. We had fresh oysters and Brussel sprouts as appetizers. The oysters were served mostly plain, no horseradish. The sprouts were good, but not my favorite. My husband ordered the tenderloin. I had duck with lentils. The dishes had unique flavors, creative ingredients and great presentation. We split an ice cream sandwich for dessert. This may have been a 5 if I didn’t have a cold and had a glass of wine with dinner.(I’m aware of my own selection bias…)

Everything really is farm fresh and tasty. They even have crates of vegetables throughout the open kitchen. Breads are hearty, full of favor and homemade butter is very silky soft. One of the breads had blue cheese baked in. Yum! We ordered the butternut squash and seared fois gras(they love bread here, as it came with cinnamon raisin toasted brioche) for appetizers. Entrees pork schnitzel(local sourced from Hunter Cattle Co.) New York strip(almost 1 lb of grass fed beef). If your a foodie, this is your place.

Very enjoyable farm to table meal. Excellent service. Fresh ingredients and delicious food. Fresh baked breads. Careful they are so yummy you ruin your appetite for the rest.

they have bar hill gin. A+ in my book anytime just for the mere fact that they source their gin from the fine distillers up in Vermont… the food is fantastic farm to table I got duck for an appetizer and it was so fine. for dinner I had the meat and three vegetable special, make sure to get that if you like rare steak.

This is the first time I’ve actually eaten in the restaurant while staying at the Andaz. Usually I’ll sneak up to the bar and order food from there(same food, different place to sit). That being said, the service was fantastic. Everyone was very kind and professional. I happened to come when there were only a few other tables and my food came out exceptionally fast! They split their menu up based on the protein or lack there of, and then within that protein there are appetizers or small plates or entrees. Pretty unique way of doing it! For wine to start — I love a good vinho verde and not a lot of places have that wine on the menu — but Andaz does and I always go for that! There used to be an amazing pasta carbonara on the menu(seriously, if it’s ever there when you go — order it! perfectly cooked egg!) but it wasn’t there this time, so I went for the spaghetti squash. Very fresh and colorful, though not a ton of flavor. But I wasn’t too worried about it. In addition, they brought out bread and salted butter — they had a regular bread, and then a special wheat bread that had honey and a few other things in it and was AMAZING. The server offered to bring more out and I had to say no so that I wouldn’t stuff myself and be miserable. But overall, really good, really solid place to enjoy a meal right downtown!

LOTSOFTIMENEEDED! Time is my only ding on this restaurant. It took us about an hour and a half to complete our meal, with our actual food being delivered after an hour. All of our dishes were delicious, the braised pork belly being our favorite. The table bread was rustic, unique and plentiful. The farm to table concept is well executed. But please hire a sous chef, it seems like the owner is the only one in the kitchen.

Every time I come here for dinner I have an amazing time. I love that all the food is local and everything is made in house. I also love that since I’m gluten free they have homemade bread just for me. Which tastes amazing and not like the stuff you get in the store but soft and fluffy. This time I went for restaurant week and they were super friendly with helping me pick out something I could eat and even editing a few dishes. They always seem to go above and beyond when I come and I’m just a little Tini local. Lol. I also was super happy that they offered to cut the crust off the cheesecake for me so I could have it and that just made my night!

Fabulous farm-to-table in Savannah. After three nights of delicious seafood, mainly oysters, I needed a change. So glad we found this delicious place! Super strong boutique cocktails, fabulous wine list, AMAZING(yes!) baked breads. We had the most incredible cheese plate– my heavens! Yum. I had the special entrée which was pompano over an heirloom tomato risotto with spinach. The fish was crispy on the bottom and absolutely perfectly seasoned and prepared. My fiancé had the pork chop with some crispy smoked fingerling potatoes that he still can’t stop talking about… We ordered too much food and didn’t finish everything we wanted to finish but so glad we tried it all. So good. Try this place. And even though you’ll want to order everything, don’t, because you’ll end up like us, having to skip dessert because you’re too full! :)
