I love this place. It is about 5 minutes away from my job so I visit frequently for lunch. I have tried the crab burger, sistah shrimp salad sandwich, and the shrimp po boy. Everything is seasoned to perfection. The pricing is reasonable and the hostess is very polite. Just to give a heads up they close at 3 on the weekends and stop serving at 2.

I returned here for lunch and it was as fantastic, fresh and amazing as the last time. It is truly my pleasure to eat at this fine establishment. I had the Club Sandwich and the homemade potato chips.

Went to this restaurant this morning for breakfast and had a fine biscuits and gravy special. For 8.99, you get some of the best biscuits and gravy in Savannah along with eggs juice coffee fruit and meat. A little on the slow side, but well worth the wait. I would definitely go back

Great atmosphere, clean location, friendly staff, and awesome food. I went with a group and we were served in a timely manner. Nothing is better than a server who KNOWS the menu and Ms. Q did not disappoint. All of her suggestions were outstanding. The only con is that parking is a little tricky. There is an empty grass lot beside the building that serves as parking so you may miss it if you aren’t expecting it. Quality(check) Quntity(check) Costs(check) I will be back!

Had the prime rib sandwich and it was amazing, probably the best I’ve ever had. This amazing little spot is black owned and ran by 3 amazing people. Eat here!

On Mother’s Day I went to Putt Guttz with my church family. My pastor had been before and really liked the food. I haven’t had much soul food in Savannah, so I was excited to join in. We did the buffet line and the options were oxtails, turkey and chicken quarters, mac and cheese, greens, red beans and rice, white rice, dressing and various salads. I was very pleased with my selection. The mac and cheese was out of this world. It was still in the oven when we got there, but one of the ladies brought some hot bowls to our table since she knew we were waiting for it. Overall, the food was good. I congratulate the ladies on opening and gaining a nice following. Of course, the name was the topic of conversation at our table. We found out that it’s a nickname of a lovely family member, and it stuck. So, if you pass by Putt Guttz and are intrigued by the name, just give the mac and cheese a try. I only wish they’d had some of their sweets out. It was Mother’s Day: Moms love dessert.
