Great casual spot with friendly service and tasty phở & ca phe sua da. When you need a break from the rib-sticking food of Savannah.

This place was recommended by a waitress from another resto. The resto is a hole in the wall type. I had the vietnamese coffee which was great. For starters, Unilocal offered free spring rolls that we had. It was not the greatest. For mains, we had the hues spicy soup and the beef phở. Both tasted ok but there was barely any meat in them. Just 3 – 4 pieces of thinly sliced beef. It was disappointing. So we pretty much filled up on the noodle and the broth.

Bun Tom Thit Nuong was decent. The pork had great flavor, but was a bit fatty. The shrimp were good, but tasted grilled in advance. Veggies were seriously lacking. Didn’t look anything like the other picture on here of the shrimp/pork noodle bowl, but for $ 9, it was still filling. Service was better than your average Vietnamese place, too.

Went here with my mom because it had good reviews. We both got curry, tofu and chicken; but her chicken was incredibly spicy it was inedible. So after taking 2 bites from it we sent it back and we’re still charged for it. They also charge for refills on drink, and also automatically add gratuity for parties for 4 or more.

For a small, local savannah spot, not a bad place for wholesome Vietnamese food. For under $ 10 dollars you can get a good serving. Definitely try the salad options. I had the cabbage with chicken salad, which was marinated in fish sauce and spices. Very light and refreshing. I had the mingnon and brisket phở which was ok. All the phở comes in one size so you don’t have too much choice. The beef while good was overlooked somewhat and a little tough. Phở is all about the flavor in the broth and this one while good, lacked some complexity. Also needed just a little more rice noodles to keep you full. A good variety of of bubble teas which were ok. I like mine with less sugar otherwise it is too sweet! The waiter was very attentive and super helpful and answered all of our questions. Not a bad spot when in town and would come again.

I’ve been to this place twice in the last month so that speaks for it’s self. The first time we were the only customers in the place. This restaurant does not have the best décor. no Vietnamese décor no music, and the tables are just white plastic tables but I hoped the food made up for the lack of décor. After all I wasn’t buying the place, just the food. I ordered the phở(I think with just brisket I don’t really remember) and it was AMAZING. They gave you a plate of bean sprouts and other garnishes to add in. I also had the avocado smoothie. That smoothie was the best thing in life and I’m not a big fan of avocado. It was creamy, which I wasn’t expecting but very refreshing. First trip 5⁄5 The second time I when it was a bit more crowded. I ordered the veggie phở and my new favorite the avocado smoothie. This time the plate of bean sprouts were brown and so were the other leafy garnishes. I understand that it’s winter but brown veggies are a BIG turn off. Also we attempted to redeem the free spring roll that comes with a check-in.the waiter chooses what you are allowed to get(not a problem free is free) Second trip 3.5÷5(the phở was still good, nice and warm for the cold winter night, but I would have liked some non brown bean sprouts for my phở)

They have to have the best Phở in town imo. Whether you get it to go or eat in it’s good!

I love phở. I live in CO where there are several Vietnamese restaurants. I have to give them high marks on their Vietnamese egg rolls. They were better than usual. Their actual rice bowls were average. They gave us a taste of the avocado boba which was delicious. We got take out since it was hot and stuffy inside. But we did enjoy our dinner.

I followed the ratings to what I expect will become one of my favorite places in Savannah. The seafood phở was nice, served piping hot and very flavorful. I had the shrimp spring rolls, but I’ll try the Vietnamese fried rolls next time.

I called to place an order but the person on the phone was extremely rude. For that purpose I give them 1 star. I’ve never ate at this establishment and I never will because I rather take my money where I’m treated better.

What a terribly disappointing experience. This place has«Authentic Vietnamese» signs all over, and it is FAR from it. The phở that I ordered, the broth tasted completely watered down. There was no level of depth in the broth. If a Vietnamese restaurant can’t get their phở right, that says something. Also, the prices are terribly high. The Bahn Mi was $ 6! Like what? Don’t even get me started on the Bahn Mi. I couldn’t even tell if the bread was toasted, and the content of the Bahn mi was really lackluster. No wonder why this place is empty. It’s really unfortunate that there aren’t other options in Savannah.

One of the first places my wife and I ever tried Phở, and we were hooked. Now after sampling many other restaurants we appreciate even more how good this place is. Ranks amount the best we’ve had.

I like really love this place!!! I don’t get to eat here as much as I used to because of my hectic schedule but I LOVE their phở it is the best I’ve had in Savannah. I also love their Bah mi sandwich… very yummy. The staff is great too, very nice family run business so I always enjoy going in when I can.

Recently had a craving for a bánh mì sandwich and decided to give this place a shot. I was not disappointed. If your experience with Vietnamese food has been limited to phở then I implore you to give bánh mì a shot!!!

I came in here every time I finished a doctors appointment at Memorial and at least got the taro bubble tea. Their spring rolls are freshly made and the service was on point. I took my family here once, we all got different dishes and we all liked it. I even ordered a noodle dish not knowing it was served cold and it was still pleasently surprised.

This is my husband and I’s favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the Savannah area for Phở. Great prices and some of the best service I ever received. The staff here is super accommodating; during one of the many times I came, I accidentally dropped the lid of the chile into my Phở and after bringing it up to the waiter, he replaced my entire meal free of charge even though it was no fault of theirs but due to my clumsiness! My second visit there I forgot to tell him to hold the onions and he was the one who reminded me! The most amazing thing was our first and second visit was almost 3 weeks apart.

Saigon Bistro is in a somewhat unlikely and unassuming location. We seated ourselves and got our own menus because there wasn’t a host or a greeter, which was a little awkward but fine. The waiter was efficient and all business — no friendly banter or small talk, which was also fine. He got our order correct, was attentive to our table, and brought our bill quickly. You can’t ask for much more to be satisfied. He perked up some as we were leaving and gave us some friendly advice about St. Patrick’s Day in Savannah, which was nice. The spring rolls were fresh and the peanut sauce was flavorful. For our entrees we had the phở with brisket and shrimp curry with rice noodles. Both were excellent. Lots of flavor, good presentation, good portions. Total bill before tip: $ 26(we drank water) We will definitely be back. It’s not really a date night kind of place, but definitely a regular stop on our«we don’t feel like cooking at home» rotation.

Saigon Bistro is the trendy new hot spot for Vietnamese food lovers. Located on a corner lot next to bank of America, it has bike parking with a private parking lot in the rear. I stumble upon this place because i was really hungry for some healthy food. The décor inside was nice, it had a buddhist theme. During the weekend, this place gets a little crowded with many Vietnamese people from out of town. I love the fact that their food is authentic Vietnamese cuisine. They offer vegetarian choices for picky eaters. I brought my parents here, usually they complain and make ridiculous demands at any restaurants. Asian parents can never be satisfied with anything.. However, their servers are absolutely wonderful people. They beckon and charm my parents who are always demanding. My dad order the bowl of phở, even though he couldn’t eat it, it still tasted pretty good. I order the rice and pork chops. Did you know«com tam» means broken rice in Vietnamese? Well, their rice was suppose to be broken and the pork chop tasted a bit old. The rice ended up being sticky. Sticky rice in Vietnamese means«soy rice» it is often sweet and comes in different colors such as yellow, red, orange, or blue. The bubble tea is awesome here, they actually improve to make it taste better. I recommend them improving the quality of the food because of the price. I had a pleasant time dining here.
