Went there today and had the teriyaki chicken with egg noodles. It was absolutely terrible. I honestly don’t understand how they can possibly have such a high rating. The plate was filled with a teriyaki sauce that was too salty and the chicken was overcooked and very dry.

The Phở was nice but didn’t come with the jalapeños I’m used to. The chicken noodle soup is a garbage version of Phở with a bunch of other stuff thrown in. It’s edible. Needs to be more authentic in one cultural food rather than including cuisines from all Southeast Asian countries.

I first come here to eat with my friends. A few pieces of beef noodles for a little are not ripe Noodles in soup tastes strange. It doesn’t taste good. Don’t like their service. Attitude is not good.

Non-descript shopping center — almost drove right past this place. I’m from out of town and was craving Asian food and found this place on Unilocal.Mom & Pop shop, kind of old fashioned décor, looked like a single family was running the place. Service was good — food came out hot and fast, the server never came back to refill our waters or check on us but the owner(?) came by and checked on us. Basically echoing the other reviews on here the food was good but overpriced. My boyfriend and I each had phở(I had beef with tripe added, he had the chicken). The flavor of the beef phở was good but for $ 14.25 it was SUPER overpriced. I finished the entire bowl and was still left slightly hungry. I would probably go back but maybe try an entrée instead of phở and hope for better portion sizes.

So excited to have authentic Asian flavors in Savannah! Today I tried Soto Ayam, a Indonesian chicken and coconut milk and noodle soup, and my husband had Tom Kha, the Thai chicken and coconut milk and lemongrass soup. Both were outstanding. So flavorful and light, yet filling. The owners are so friendly and helpful. There are a number of vegetarian choices, if anyone is interested. We will definitely be back.

Lots of folks complaining about the prices here, and I’ll agree that they should consider adding a lunch menu, as everything appears to be an all-day option. So, the portions are really dinner-sized, and therefore, the prices are, too. For dinner entrée pricing, I’d say it’s just about right. Other than that, the atmosphere is nice, the service was just fine, and the food was excellent. The summer rolls were a little small, and could have stood to have some protein, so that was a bit of a disappointment. But, the Pad Se Ew was awesome. My friends enjoyed the Green Curry(chicken) and whatever noodle dish my other friend had. Three entrees, three drinks and the summer rolls put us around $ 55. For lunch, a bit steep, but I ate enough to make me want a small dinner tonight! Oh, and the tea is real brewed, so that’s a big plus!

Meeting up with an old friend near Hunter Army Airfield and wanted something on the light side. Picked the Noodle Bowl for some Asian flavors. In a non-descript mall, restaurant was decently sized but darkly lit. Service was very fast, I think we got in just before the lunch rush. Ordered fried wontons and chicken vegetable soup with egg noodles. My friend ordered the oxtail soup. The wontons were okay tasting, fried and full of a meat-vegetable stuffing. The chicken vegetable soup hit the spot, with lots of broccoli and snow peas. My friends oxtail soup looked good! I should have ordered it! The total with tax came out to $ 35 with tip, kind of high for a lunch with just 3 items. It’s a indulgence and catching up with the Sergeant Major made it worth it. Will repeat if work brings me back to Savannah and recommend!

There are numerous reviews here and I don’t want to echo the same comments. I hope their business picks up, as it was dead during lunch time. Very good portions of food, although a bit pricey for lunch $ 12+ for a chicken and noodle bowl…

Great service, fast and friendly. Can’t say enough about the food. The spring rolls were tasty and the entrees were even better. Soooo good! Highly recommend checking this place out.

October 12, 2015 Monday — 5:45PM for a Dinner 1 adult and a kid Atmosphere — 5 star Food — 4 stars Service — 5 stars Background — My daughter had her violin lesson in the area. So I figured we would go to dinner afterwards. I had her narrow it down by type of food she wanted. Unilocal helped me with the rest. Atmosphere — Part of a strip mall. Great job on the modern feel, my daughter loved how the one wall the lights slowly changed. I like the table clothes that they are using, butch paper hmmm I could live without it but not a biggie as it fits the tables nicely. Food Drinks — I just ordered water with dinner. Food — I had a Korean item, the Bulgogi made with beef. $ 12.25 seems a little high for must Asian restaurants. The food was really good. The plate you get is made for you, it is not served family style where you one item on the plate with big spoon for you to scoop out onto your own plate. Instead you get a couple sides of vegetables and scope of white rice and a majority of the item that you ordered. I went to a place with noodle in the name and went with rice, I know I am bad. Service — Friendly and super fast. Future — I would not mind going back.

I am at the noodle bowl. The food is decent. Nothing out of this world that you couldn’t get at the mall across the street. The portions are huge however. Except for the spring rolls, which are TINY. The service seriously sucked. Our waitress seemed uninterested and like everything was a hassle. And was quick to interrupt me when I asked about their sauce tray and assumed I was asking about shrimp sauce. I asked for a little extra sweet and sour sauce and the man, who I believe is the manager told me I was I already finished with my spring rolls and why did I need it. I explained I liked it on my meal and so did my son. He was clearly pissed off by this as it wasn’t what comes with my meal and I have yet to receive my bill, but I am assuming he was looking for a way to charge me for it. I’ll review back after. Honestly go to Panda Express or somewhere where you can share a box of food for 8 bucks and have better service than you get here. I’m unimpressed and wouldn’t return. Service really did it for me.

I’ve eaten here three times now, each time the service was bad. The food is good except their phở is not that good in my opinion they use a flat noodle which I don’t care for and the broth is a bit odd in flavor, but the Korean style BBQ plate with Kim chi was very good. But like I said the service is awful and I don’t like that it’s always the same guy working the tables, who must be the owner’s son or relation of some kind, cause he clearly doesn’t give a crap about his job. I also don’t care for the style of glasses they serve their drinks in, they are a strange size and are made of glass so for a young child like my son, they could easily knock it over and break it. Anyway, it’s not terrible but not great either. Better to order take out once you find something you like on the menu.

It’s disappointing to have a place with great food and terrible management. Both managers are extremely uneducated and rude with customers. I am definitely not coming back again.

Starting with fried Wonton and Shrimp tempura, the tempura were excellent, the wonton filling was very tasty and tender, the wrapper a bit hard, perhaps overcooked. The sauces with each were very nice and complemented well. The beef Bulgogi with egg noodles was well cooked, nicely spicy and excellent. The ladies had Vegetable bowl and Shrimp Teriyaki. Both exclaimed how wonderful their dishes were. A three scoop coconut ice cream was shared to finish the wonderful meal. It was really nice. No leftovers and all were content. Both signs of a great meal. The atmosphere was pleasant and casual, the staff(owners) were all very attentive and hospitable. A really great experience. We will be back.

The noodles here are the best in town– and honestly, this place is fantastic for take out– It may not be the«hottest» interior in town but, really, the food is where it is at! I dare someone to find better cooked noodles anywhere in Savannah. The service is always well balanced– not too much, not too little, and my favorite thing on the menu is the large tom kha gai — so so nice!

Great food and service. This is about the only place in Savanah that we come back to. The staff will assist you in deciding what to order if you don’t quite know what you are eating or not sure of what you want to try. This place is off the beaten path so not to many tourist come here so they have to do a good job to keep the locals happy and coming back.

Good selection for a good meal. The food is fresh and the service is just right, no pressure and not overwhelmed. Be sure to try the Tom Yum soup. Very nice meal, when coupled with the house salad with ginger dressing. Enjoy!

Pretty good Asian food! I’ve always been scared of the Asian restaurants that have Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai… seems shady, right? But my boyfriend got the bulgogi noodles and I got the beef phở with tendon and tripe. The bulgogi was quite good(although a little salty), and the beef phở was delicious. I loved that they included the basil, bean sprouts, hoisin sauce, and lime — just how it should be! The summer rolls we got were just okay. The peanut sauce was really liquidy and the rice paper they used was too sticky and was a mess to eat. However, service was great and I really like the concept that you can pick your noodle bowl essentially(any entrée + choice of noodle). I will probably be back again to try more types of noodles and entrees!
