Grease pit truck stop. Once is enough. Keep fooling yourself if you want breakfast and go clog your arteries.

The sausage burrito is the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had! Lots of sausage, avocado. Fantastic! Muy Bueno!!!

I just left there after waiting for service that never came. I’ve been there a couple times before. The first time the food was great, the service average. The second time the food was average, but the service was great. This time I was evidently invisible. There were a couple other guys sitting in my section that had already been served so I kept thinking when their waitress/server checks on them I’ll be waited on. It never happened. Also, the place was not busy, far from it.

I got in just before closing. Just in time for brunch before a round of golf. The food is delicious.

Enjoyed the experience and the atmosphere, good diner food with local influences that make the menu more than your usual generic diner.

If you’re looking for a generous meal coupled with great service and great prices, this is the place to stop for breakfast or lunch. They’re open from 6am to 3pm and you walk away more than satisfied.

Very large size portions for a very good price. We had the cheese steak omelet and it was great! Also their raisin bread was delicious

Great service and served omelets the proper way. I tried grits for the first time. Reminded me of cream of wheat. Disappointed that they didn’t have French toast but they have reasonably priced daily specials for $ 3.65

Quick, delicious dinner style like restaurant… it’s seat yourself and usually don’t have to wait for a table. I had the salmon cakes with cheese eggs the first time I was there and oh wow! The cakes were perfect, not dry at all and had a very nice flavor that paired well with the rest of breakfast. Their eggs and grits are out of this world, still trying to figure out how to make them taste like theirs at home :) The only reason I did not give them a 5 star is because last time I went and ordered take out breakfast, they did not put enough cheese on my grits or eggs… very lacking and I went home and added it myself. That was the only bad experience I have had.

Went here for breakfast today and they were very busy so I was optimistic. Ordered the Spinach, shrimp and cheese omlette and was grossed out when I found a large(1.5″) grasshopper, or something similar in my eggs. The owners apologized and were willing to bring something else but I was no longer hunger. The service was OK, but a bit slow and unattentive from the start. I won’t be going back.

My family and I went after reading the glowing reviews here and were NOT impressed. The orange juice comes in the actually minute maid bottles, the biscuits are frozen, from the can(I know this because the waitress warned us not to get them for this reason), and my omelette and my 1 year old’s eggs were littered with shells. I get that its reasonably priced but I’ve been to places that were comparably priced that were a million times better than this. I don’t get the good ratings at all…

My counterpart and I were initially going to another breakfast eatery, but found ourselves here. Quite large inside, nothing to speak of as to atmosphere, but that’s a good thing. I don’t want ambiance during breakfast, I want hard seats, mismatched decour and colors and kickbutt portions. That’s what we got. Anthony was our server, perhaps the son of the owners, was AWESOME. On top of our needs, attentive and smart. Our portions would satisfy Paul Bunting, my lady friend is a hearty eater and we barely finished. You will have a great breakfast experience here and I’ve been to most every NYC diner.

I do not live in Savannah but I have family who do and this is where we like to have breakfast! Very friendly and efficient staff. I can vouch for the pancakes as well as the sausage gravy plate. My husband is a fan of the omelets… they are huge and tasty!

Nothing fancy, but the food is good, especially for breakfast(also very good hamburgers). The service is friendly and attentive. Very inexpensive for the quality. They have a buffet at lunch, too, but I’m not a big fan of the buffet.

The Sunny Side Up serves by far, the best breakfast I’ve found in Savannah. It’s nothing fancy, but their hospitality has been warm and friendly every time I’ve walked in. The food is really great too — their portions are huge, but so delicious! Close your eyes and point somewhere on the omelet section of the menu. You won’t be disappointed. Also, be sure to get the grits — buttery goodness. It won’t break the bank either. I can’t recall anything on the menu over $ 12, but most items were under $ 7. Can’t wait to visit again!
