Came here for dinner tonight with high expectations as last time my wife and I tried but it was a 45 minute wait. Place is small and cozy which makes for a nice ambience. Seems to be very kid friendly. Ordered the onion straws and was very disappointed. They were tough, dry, oily, and not even hot. Seems like it was made ahead before our order was put in and left to keep warm until someone orders them. Seems like a logical idea because it is a burger topping but seriously, someone should be checking the quality before serving it. Service is blah. Im not expecting a fine dining service but the waitress didnt seem to care about being a server but just to take the order, bring the food and then bring the check. She obviously saw that we didnt even touch the onion straws but did not ask if someone was wrong. Burgers arent bad here. Seems like the same meat and bread with just different toppings. I give the burgers a 3 star rating. The rustic looking country white bun isnt bad at all. Im more of a brioche or softer style burger bun kinda guy. Coleslaw was more than lacking flavor, it lacked soul and seasoning kinda which summarizes my first and possibly last experience at Five Points Café. What makes this place survives is because its possibly the closest burger joint in Sayville and Long islanders seem to love to support the locals which is nice. I wish you the best Five points but eventually people will want better product and service.

Im gonna start with the bathroom door. I couldn’t believe when i tried closing the door it had the nerve to not stay closed. I mean come on, really? Then when i went back to my table i noticed that the ketchup was missing. I asked for ketchup and then when i used it I’m not sure if it was ketchup. Bizzare, am i right? Then, oh this was the worst, the lemon holder was so outdated i couldn’t believe it. I mean i couldn’t believe it i just wanted a nice lemon holder. Sheesh. But overall the food was great the service was great and i would highly recommend to friends and family.

Just got off of work and we were hungry so we met my brother here. Atmosphere was cool. Bar was great. Bartender was too. My husband ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich(he gets this everywhere it’s offered) and I got the chicken burrito wrap. My husband’s sandwich was all bread and a dry, over cooked chicken breast. Hardly any flavor. My burrito wrap should have been called a rice wrap. I got as much cubed chicken that I would get out of a Campbell’s chicken soup can. Allllllll rice. I ate a bit of it. We gave most of our dishes back to the kitchen to toss. The fries were fantastic though! Go for the bar, the live music, but not for the food. Just came home and we’re hungry looking for something to eat. Big bill and we weren’t satisfied at all.

Very solid café. Sandwiches and burgers are good, the fries are crispy and flavorful. It has a very nice outdoor seating area which is beautiful in the summer. It’s right on Main Street so it’s an easy stop when you’re in town. Friendly staff rounds it out for a great experience.

First waitress wasn’t great but the second was. Food and drinks were good too. Nice atmosphere. Had live music too. Burgers and fries are great. Try the Lynchburg lemonade

The best burgers in town. They even offer gluten free buns! They often have love music outside, and the outdoor area has a nice atmosphere. Inside is a bit small, but that’s never really been a problem.

Took my nephew there today for lunch, his choice. Was glad he chose here. Food was Excellent. It came out quickly, but never felt rush. After leaving one of the staff came running after us in the rear parking lot. It seems that I had dropped some cash at the bench I was sitting at. I was extremely impressed, I will definitely return again. Great food, great atmosphere and Great staff!!!

A great burger spot in Sayville. They have live music and outdoor seating in the summer. Food never disappoints. Just wish they had more craft beer options — they just had the standard bud, bud light, sam adams, etc on tap. Great place!

Hamburger was tasty but not hot. Very good roll. Fresh ingredients. Good fries and rings. Good value. But … They short you when you order a Stella on tap. Serve it in a 12 oz. when all other tap beers are 16 oz. Service is untrained and«really couldn’t care.»

Nothing special, nice outdoor area, but the food wasn’t that great, buns on the burger are way too thick and not very flavorful, you will more than likely have to eat with a knife and fork, otherwise you’ll have to dislocate your jaw to take a bite.

Great Food! Down side waiter messed up and got drink order wrong, brought food out without silverware and napkins… ask another waiter after waiting 10 mins to only have that waiter never to return.. Got up and took them off another table. Then found out when wife went to change baby no changing tables in bathrooms… really? What where they thinking… guess it’s not a family restaurant. So got little ones stay away…

the place didn’t blow me away but I would come back. I ordered the crab cake sandwich which was good and had lots of crab in it. but the best part was the outside sitting area. only down side. there really wasn’t a lot of tables outside. so my boyfriend and I made sure to wait an extra 10 – 15 minutes so we could. and it was worth the extra wait. although the restaurant was close to the street it was still quite and nice.

We’ve been here before and I can’t believe they were able to make it better. The service was great, the atmosphere is wonderful and the food is exceptional. There is a lot of care put in to the details of every meal and it shows.

After many visits I will finally wrote a review. First service was good, and food is delicious. They are a great burger joint. Full open bar as well. Sit inside or outside on a beautiful Patio. I will be back soon!

Nice atmosphere, friendly service. The wait depends on time you arrive. The food is good, burgers, fries and some well put together sandwiches. Beer and wine are standard. Overall a nice place to have a decent beer and a burger. Live music some evenings. Nice to browse through the town after dinner.

The three stars are for the food. I had the philly burger and loved the toppings, it had cheese sauce, caramelized onions and sautéed mushrooms. I asked for the burger medium and it came out really, really tough. I didn’t mind though because I was starving. The meat should be buttery and juicy, but it was more like I made it at home in a pan and scorched it a little too much. Not worth $ 13! For a place on the island the beers were just a tad pricey but standard. $ 6 for a corona made my eyes roll… The service and ambiance however was really lovely. Great waitress and outdoor seating is a must! I would return again but order something different.

My review is exclusively for the food as I ordered take out and do not drink alcohol. I would note that it looks like a decent place to grab a drink and a beer or listen to some live music if that’s what you are looking for in the area. Anyway, I had their downtown burger which is a burger with cheddar, American, and mozzarella cheese, bacon, onion straws, and some kind of barbecue sauce. It was a pretty large burger and they made a legit medium rare attempt. It was, overall though, a fairy average burger. Obviously tasty, but nothing about it made me want to jump out of my seat and say, «damn that’s good!» Prices were perhaps a little high as well. Bottom line is that this is definitely better food than one of the chain places, but its not going to blow you away.
