Salon Halloo

Inconsistent. I have had my hair cut there a number of times with the same stylist. She must have just been having a bad day but it was a disaster for me as I got my hair cut right before an important trip. I had arrived before the stylist and was sitting in the waiting area near the front door when she arrived. She did not greet me at all and went into the back for awhile before coming out and sitting down at the computer directly across from me. She spent a good long while on the computer, still not even acknowledging that I was there. Finally the other stylist who was working on a another customer came over and said something to her. She then took me back to her station and I told her how I wanted my hair cut which was the same as always. The result was a disaster and I went home looking like a clown. I went the next day to Hairmasters at Fred Meyers to try and get it salvaged. They improved it as well as they could but some of the hair was cut so short that it could not be rescued until the following haircut weeks later.
I will not be going back and can certainly not recommend it any more.

Had a great experience at Salon Halloo with Mattie. She is a very talented and educated stylist that was able to listen to what I was looking for and give me a great trendy cut and style. Exceptional service and great atmosphere.

The salon is a lovely, relaxing place to be and everyone there is friendly. Felicia gave me a great haircut and color. She also gave me answers to my questions about taking care of my hair and styling tips. I highly recommend this salon.

I love Salon Halloo. The stylists are creative, expertly trained and have the knowledge and grace to gently save me from myself when I show up with some fab magazine photo that would be a disaster on my head. Shannon is a master colorist, as well as a genius with my very curly hair. Mattie has cut my son’s hair for years and people are ALWAYS asking where he gets his haircuts. The ambience is laid back and stylish. The conversation is genuine and upbeat. There’s no «too cool for the room» attitude — at Salon Halloo, the only personality that matters is yours — you will leave feeling more beautifully yourself, every time. I highly recommend it!

Hip enough for «The Pearl» but thankfully in Scappoose! Fresh and trendy color. Great cuts. Been going to Maddie for years and I’ve never left disappointed!

I just happened to stumble upon Salon Halloo when I was out riding my bike one day. We had just moved out to Scappoose and I was checking out my new neighborhood when I spotted this darling salon off the side of a quiet back road. I’m really picky but the shop looked so cute I thought I would give it a try. I made an appointment with Shannon for a color and I have been going to her ever since. She is awesome! Friendly and knowledgeable and a great listener. She has been doing my color for over a year now and it always turns out great. I have gotten tons of compliments on her work. I also love that it has free parking right out front and the prices are reasonable (compared to what I was paying in downtown Portland).

If you are looking for a great salon with great beauticians, this is the place to go! Friendly, spa like atmosphere

Hidden gem in Scappoose. Great atmosphere, stylist and product selection. They offer nail services and they even sell locally made jewelry. I highly recommend this salon. The haircuts that my daughter and I received were just what we wanted. I’ve recently moved to the area and I’m happy to find a place I can trust and that I enjoy going. Thanks
