Dr Slatin and staff are excellent — just a real pro operation for all aspects for the entire family

Great experience. I got my eyes checked by Dr. Philip. Very thorough exam. The doctor took her time, went through a lot of the different possibilities and made sure everything was right before I left.
Dr. Philip asked if I had time to do the Glaucoma test as it added half an hour to the visit. She then gave me a special sunglass filter to put under my glasses.
The visit was very pleasant. The doctor was on time and they had a good selection of glasses. And, the best part of the experience is that my insurance covered most of it.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough and I will definitely be back.

I couldn’t be more satisfied with Dr. Zlatin and his staff… all very professional and helpful. I have seen an ophthalmologist for years and Dr. Z’s exam is far more thorough and uses the most advanced equipment to detect any abnormalities or deficiencies. I had issues with my insurance co. with regard to medication and the office was very diligent in following up with them and my pharmacy.

As background, I am in my 40’s and have been seeing optometrists since I was 9, and wearing contact lenses since I was 13. In short, I have seen many eye doctors over the last 30 plus years. A friend recommended Dr Zlatin and his office to me. I was blown away by the expertise, patience, ability to explain the details in layperson language and the desire to look out for the care and health of the eyes. And not simply to prescribe new and more powerful lenses, which is what I had become accustomed too. In fact, the RX for my prescription was reduced. And we spoke about other preventative measures I could take to maintain the health of my eyes.
To say Dr. Zlatin is thorough would be an understatement. He wants to keep your eyes and vision where there should be vs. seeing patients when things go awry. He believes in healthcare and not sick care as so many of our doctors do not subscribe to.
I believe in him and his staff so much that my two boys, 10 and 11 now see him regularly. (As I was and am near sighted) I wanted to see, availing ourselves of Dr. Zlatin’s ethos, mitigate as much as possible the need for corrective lenses as well as treat the health of their eyes.
My wife has begun seeing the office as well. This is a good story, but one that I hear a lot… which is how we heard about Dr. Zlatin and team in the first place. The highest recommendation possible.

I have been a patient of Dr Zlatin for almost 8 years. I have always felt that he wants the best for my vision and eye care. He and his staff seemed to keep current on the latest trends in eye health and better vision. He never pushes products and brands just to turn a profit. He always takes time to explain medical concerns and options each visit. My wife and daughter are also patients. Highly recommend his care.

We have found Dr. Z to be particularly good with contact lenses (monovision and the like).

As promised, I am writing a follow up. My wife did seek a second opinion and thae doctor did concur with the diagnosis and prescription that Dr. Zlatin provided.
As you can see below, to his credit Dr. Zlatin did reach out to me and try the rectify the situation. As kind an offer as that was, we have decided to seek care elsewhere.

Dr Z is great. Very thorough, state of the art equipment, but he takes the time to explain everything to you. He answers every question, and you never feel rushed.
Chic and fashionable frames, but functional too.
