It was my first time here and it was a pleasant experience. They had good food that was prepared quickly. The seasoned fries were delicious and everything tasted fresh and flavorful.

I was super bummed when I came here hoping for a turkey burger, but I left extremely satisfied with my build-your-own chicken sandwich. Here’s everything in a nutshell about Smashburger. I love the fact that nothing is over salted here, and I left feeling super satisfied, not bloated and not guilty for the really big sandwich I devoured. Wonderful service. Having never been here before, the guy behind the counter was super patient and friendly with our family of four, because we’re a nightmare when it comes to making decisions and my hubby is the substitution king. Even in the middle of our order when my kiddos asked for pretzel buns, it was no problem at all to switch things up. The fries are skinny fries, nice and crispy and not too greasy or salted. I ordered sweet potato fries on the side, they were good, but not memorable like the plain fries. You can also order fried pickles, fried carrots and green beans, onion strings, and a special garlic oil sauce for your fries if you wish. I did have a bite of my kiddos cheeseburger and it was really tasty. The burgers are fairly thin, but they are nice and juicy. I got a crispy chicken sandwich since grilled chicken bores me to tears. It was lightly breaded, nice and flat, and pretty large. I couldn’t finish it. I ordered it with freshly sauteed mushrooms and aged cheddar. Since we were in a rush to get to Ikea we didn’t stay for the shake, but next time I know where to go when I’m hankering for something sweet. Shakes are made with Haagen Daz ice cream, and I watched a bunch of them pass by our table, so I’m guessing they are a pretty hot(or should I say) cold ticket item. They also have a grab it to go order area, which is called a Smash N Grab! Call ahead and come pick it up. Next time, I’m coming for the shake…

This location is on the main(golf) road. Tucked away in a small side shopping mall strip sits this new smashing burger place. I had a free coupon for 1 smashburger or smashchicken so this cost me $ 0(transportation excluded). The inside looks clean and roomy. Lots of colorful bench type seating, bold red lettered slogans on the wall and pleasant burger goodness smells! Outside seating is a joke, smells like fresh tar(parking lot got resurfaced) and all together 3 tables — sit inside! The food: I ordered Windy City local flavor of a smashburger which came within 5 minutes complete with cheddar, onion strings, spicy mustard and typical condiments on a toasted pretzel bun. Not too greasy, full of flavor complete with slightly burned crunchy bits, that surely are not good for you despite irresistibly satisfying flavor profile — the beef patty was delicious! The price point(if I was to pay for it) is a bit higher than I’d want for burger place hence my rating but definitely worth a try.

I dont understand why wouldnt Smash get 5 stars. I’ve been here for burgers for about 10 times. The best burger I have in my life. Very fresh very juicy all are delicious. My fav is truffle mushroom n swiss. Always order the sweet potato fries if i was hungry and a burger is not enough. Portion is small though. Well, if you people are looking for a huge burger with is unfresh with no meat taste but cheap and big enough that you could barely finish, go somewhere is. This place is not cheap enough for you, but cheap enough if you want a burger with quality.

The first time I drove by smash burger I though it was a GameStop store because of their logo! This is the gourmet burgers you see everywhere now but I rank Smashburger above Five Guys and then Meatheads(in that order). Their smash fries are awesome with rosemary and olive oil and are usually not too salty(so if you like your fries salty, you’ll have to add a bit). The have almost everything in two sizes, the regular and larger, though the difference isn’t huge in size. The location doesn’t have that amazing soda machine though. The Windy City burger is my favorite but their chicken is good too. Their buns are pretzel making it better. Their burgers seem airy but are always filling for me. Service was lacking a bit a few months ago because I would notice tables not getting cleaned up in a timely manner but as of late they’ve stepped up their game. Their staff is always great and friendly.
