The Cigar Lounge

I hate malls so I have always avoided this place (my bad). It’s in a stand-​alone building on the south side of Woodfield and frankly I was pleasantly surprised. Good selection of reasonably priced ‘gars, lots of comfortable seating and many TVs. I will definitely be back.

Great place to hang out. The regulars are very friendly and Tim, the owner is very welcoming. I will be back… soon!

Want to relax, go there, buy a cigar and… Relax. It doesn’t come easier when time is tight or broad…

Harry and Tim are great guys and truly know their craft. Harry and Tim also supplied about 100 cigars for my wedding in mid-​October and made sure to keep me in a reasonable price range while still providing high quality cigars. They also were able to make custom cigar labels for the wedding as well! Needless to say the guys are great and the interior of the lounge is a true man-​cave!

As you enter «the lounge» on your left you’ll find a variety of cigars to choose from. Directly in front of you, you’ll see Harry the owner of this joint. Awesome guy and knows his cigars. On your immediate right, you’ll see refreshments and around the corner are the restrooms. This lounge is the perfect setting to work or casually relax.
There are lots of comfortable sofas and tables in each room, yes there are lots of rooms you can choose from. I forgot to mention T.V. in the main lounge area.
You can even rent and store your own drinks in your own personal locker.
Make yourself at home.

Stopped in this place for the first time last night. Nice big open place with plenty of room to find a spot to chat while enjoying a smoke. The staff was very knowledgable in helping me decided on which cigar to choose. Only downfall was that it does get smokey in the place and I realize it’s a cigar lounge but I have been to many where the ventilation was a bit better… but overall a very nice place in the burbs.

After a dozen visits since the new owners took over, I am pleased that this place remains at the top with no equal in the Chicagoland area. It is by far the largest cigar lounge offering a comfortable, friendly and welcoming (yes, there is the occasional sighting of liberals lighting or lightening up) place to treat oneself to a good cigar and seek safe refuge while society spirals downwards under the influence of reality TV. Time ticks at a slower pace and I can read a book unhurried while inhaling the sweet aroma of an aged leaf.
The interior has gone through some renovations to allow for more seating. The large plush leather chairs are perfect to sink oneself and immerse in relaxation until reality rudely awakes us to return to life’s responsibilities.
The location is perfect. It’s easy access from the highways and conveniently located by many food establishments. Best of all, you can bring in your own food. There is no greater feeling than to enjoy a meal or sipping on cappuccino while puffing my favorite cigar. Unfortunately, the ruling Peoples’ Party ruining (instead of running) the Village of Schaumburg continue to impose BYOB ban. But there is free wifi access where one can achieve greater productivity doing work… if only I could take work conference calls without background noise… ;-) Life can, is, and will continue to be good.

Awesome low key place to enjoy a cigar with friends. Very conveniently located next to Woodfield mall with plenty of free parking. The place has a huge humidor with a ton of cigars to choose from. I tend to go and try something different there every time I go. They sell soft drinks and have free coffee there.
The place is quite spacious with 4 rooms. Two of the rooms have big screens with different sport events (or whatever people want to watch), another room has a nice long table with comfy chairs where I guess people can host meetings from, lastly the other room doesn’t have tv’s but just tables and chairs for people to enjoy their cigar. Every time I am there I enjoy the place more and more… wish it was closer to me so I could visit it more often!

I live in logan square but I’ll drive the commute here after work any day. This place is probably one of the last classic cigar lounges around. The type of place where the hosts will remember that face of yours and welcome you back as if you’re one of their own.
It’s essentially a huge living room with big comfortable leather recliners everywhere. They’ve got big screens at every corner but you can still find a quiet place to read, work or talk.
Cigars are always on point and well maintained. The staff and vibe is consistent in its service and culture.
This is a great place and I will continue to do my part in giving them business to keep them around.
I traveled into chicago before I moved here quite a bit and always paid them a visit. I’m proud to call my self a regular now.

This is my second time here. Great to see a familiar face yesterday. Enjoyed the cigars he recommended.

Great place to relax and chill… Couldn’t get away from work, so I brought laptop to the lounge and worked from there! Great selection of Cigars from mild to bold they’ve got what you want to smoke. You could rent lockers for all the regulars, tv’s to catch all the sporting events, even a poker table to play a friendly game of gold fish if you wanted to. Always have some food on the table, just throw some monies in the collection bucket.

Best place to hang out and smoke cigars in the northwest suburbs. The feel of the lounge is comfortable. The crowd that shows up are seasoned cigar smokers — but I’ve seen the staff (and other customers) welcoming and helping novices too.
Many changes since this place opened years ago — the new owners/​management have transformed this place nicely. Walk in humidor, good selection, big leather chairs, wifi, televisions, etc…

Outstanding Cigar Lounge. The people there are incredibly knowledgable about cigars and aren’t trying to push stuff on you. Harry is a true connoisseur. Very nice walk in humidor with a ton of cigars and reasonable prices. Spacious place with plenty of places to sit. There’s even an outdoor deck and some private rooms. Everyone there is friendly and it’s just a great place to hang out.

Very helpful staff here. Comfortable environment with nice leather furniture to keep the relaxation going. Also has a nice projection screen to watch sports on! I don’t live in the area because I’m only here on business but when I return this will be one of the places I revisit.

I stopped in the other night to buy a humidor and a few sticks. The man behind the desk was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was looking at a medium sized humidor, and he asked what my needs were. I only buy at most 10 cigars at a time, and he recommended a travel humidor that holds 5 at a time and lasts a few weeks. I bought this, some solution and a few of my favorite sticks. On my way home, I enjoyed one of the best cigars that I have ever purchased. great job and great place.

BIG lounge area open to the public. But for its size I was surprised how smoky it was.
But it definitely has a lot of seating and a variety of TV’s. I liked the lounge area (s)!
As for cigar selection, it’s one of those shops with ties to the major companies. It lacked the unique boutique brands I personally enjoy discovering.
All that said, I would go back as it appears they are fixing the place up (was under construction) and it’s in a good location.

Nice place with high ceilings and a decent selection of cigars. Tucked away on the outskirts of Woodfield mall, it isn’t to hard to find. They also share a private lot with Jarod’s so you won’t have to park next to the rabid mall crowd.
The owner of this place has a terrific knack for hiring very attractive and young women to tend the cashier and help customers. It makes the experience that much more pleasant as you lounge in one of the many overstuffed armchairs or high top tables. If you’d rather do something while you enjoy your smoke, head on over to the pool table and play a few games, no charge.
The only gripe I have about this place is they do not allow any alcoholic beverages inside. No chance to enjoy a few fingers of your favorite whiskey with a stick.
This place is closest to me so I frequent it the most. Great ventilation and high ceilings are a huge plus.
