Late lunch/early dinner.. 3 adults, 1 child. Place was pretty empty. Server was nice enough but seemed uncomfortable the entire time like she was new & didn’t know the menu. I asked which ice tea flavor, mango or razz, was good & said she didn’t know about ice tea, apparently never had it. Kid: Mac and cheese with fries. Mac was cold and disgusting. Server said that it was actually the kraft blue box &they prob forgot to warm it up.. um? ???(We sent it back) Adults got an order of wings, half honey bbq & buffalo. Wings were lukewarm & eh. 12 inch deep dish with sausage, mushrooms & green peppers. It was oooooook, kinda bland, nothing special & pretty lackluster. Plus side, Kids fries were good thou.

We saw the reviews on Unilocal with so many negatives, and we were quite concerns before going there. We ordered three appitetties and they were all good. The chicken wings was so good so we ordered another one. :) We also had a thin crust and deep dish pizza and they were both fresh and delicious. Our server did an excellent job to take our order with good services. We really enjoy our time and dinner at Uno.

Like Applebee’s but with deep dish pizza. I’m not a fan of the Applebee’s menu, the traditional American meets bar food sort of thing. It’s hard to comment on anything in particular since it was all so lackluster. Service was standard and food was just ok. Might not want to make this your quintessential Chicago stop.

I was craving pizza really bad. It was a rough day at work, I had a migraine and I was craving something bad for me. I am usually a Lou’s fan, but I wanted something different. We ordered zucchini chips which were delicious and the perfect sized portion to share. We also ordered the Farmer’s Market Pizza. I really liked the combination of veggies in it. However, the pizza itself was a little dry. Service was friendly and prompt.

The pizza was warm and not hot when we received it and the quality was sub par. I was not happy with the quality of the pizza. I was expecting a thick nice meaty pizza(as Chicago deep dish should be) and I got a «frozen pizza» quality. Actually it reminded me of pizza huts pan pizza, not deep dish! The taste was pretty good; but for the price, I was not satisfied at all. I will not be back for the pizza because I can get my money’s worth at other pizza places. For $ 20.49 it was a small sized pizza which had no substance to it. Not happy at all!

My buddy is in town for a project he’s working on in Schaumburg. I haven’t seen him in about 20 years. He use to live in Chicago and Chicago suburbs and he had a hankering for Chicago style pizza. Why did we choose Uno when there is a Lou Malnati in the same area? It’s not terrible, but it’s certainly not the Uno from downtown. Oh well next time we’ll know better. What happened to Uno pizza?

Just moved to Schaumburg from Atlanta, and Lou’s and Giordano was all the craze. Uno is WAY better than both to me. I would rather eat a frozen home run inn pizza from the grocery store b4 I go to those other 2 chains again. Just an honest experience from a non biased out of towner

Deep dish, yes please. The all vegetable pizza was pretty good. My mom was staying in the area and bought their pizza every week. I like Uno’s over the other Chicago deep dish pizza franchises.

Just tried the ‘shroom pizza. Understand it returned after a long hiatus. Deelish. Great marinated mushrooms, spinach and good amount of cheese. No red sauce, but none needed.

I’m a Chicago native and have tried a plethora of deep-dish. That being said, Uno’s deep-dish is pretty good but not quite mind-blowing status. The sauce and crust are tasty! It came out warm, not hot which is my main disappointment. I enjoyed the atmosphere — good vibes! The waiter, Eric W. was very efficient. The host was new and said we would know more about the food than he did — funny but I probably wouldn’t advertise that if I was him!

I am definitely a fan of their pizza. The onion rings and burgers are delicious too! I’d say their staff is pretty friendly.

Finally, my search for deep dish pizza I could have comes to an end! It was my last day in Chicago, so why not give Uno a try to get deep dish pizza that we could have. For reference, I’m vegetarian, but don’t eat onion or garlic, both of which feature heavily in Italian-esque foods… And vegetarian food, for that matter. We came in at around noon and asked our waitress what we could have… Like perhaps the deep dish? Turns out we could! Apparently, they use tomato sauce and just diced tomatoes… Nothing is added. I was positively amazed because I was used to more savory foods being off limits to me during my entire trip up in the Midwest. I honestly didn’t expect to be able to eat something so cheesy and substantial that I had to ask a second time because I was in disbelief. I had asked only for the heck of it and didn’t expect to be able to get it. After verifying that the ingredients were purely just fresh ingredients and none of that marinated stuff, we finalized everything. We ended up building our own individual deep dish pizzas. Mine: eggplant, mushrooms, and artichokes. His: green bell peppers, roasted red bell peppers, and kalamata olives. It took a bit of time for them to come out but once it did, I was in gastronomic heaven. They were already pre-sliced into quarters in these mini hot pans. Our waitress helped us serve the first pieces and then placed the hot pans onto our table via tongs. I’m more of a thin crust kind of person, but I think I may also be a deep dish kind of person. The crust was perfect — light and thick enough to hold their load with a definite crunch/crisp to the outside edges. It was also slightly… sweet? The innards were filled with tons of melty, cheesy goodness and veggies. The tomatoes added that tang that it otherwise lacked. Ah… Magnificence. I wonder if there’s an Uno back in Houston. If not… They should totally consider it! As a note, the pizza still tastes amazing later, but it loses the crispy crust. As for the people, they were nice and helpful. No complaints on that end! The establishment was clean and so were the bathrooms. The only issue was that the utensils could be cleaner; after wiping them, some left a dark residue on the white napkins. Food? Thank you for letting me eat something other than a sandwich or salad! You guys are awesome.

Pizza was good, not as good as I remember it being. The service was a bit slow, and it wasn’t even that busy. I would come here again, just asking for the pizza I had a while ago.

This was my very first time visiting this location and trying their pizza tonight and I can assure you that I will never ever go back. I’m so disgusted. I came to pick up an order. When I first walked in there was no one at the desk. I stood there by the desk watching waiters and other employees walking around and serving people. Some of the employees even looked at me and continued to walk by without so much as a «Hello, how can I help you?» Or «Are you being helped?» After about 5 – 6 minutes of still standing there, a couple walked in and stood behind me waiting. A few seconds after they walked in, a waitress came over looking at them(not even paying attention to me) and said, «Two? Let me get you a table.» I stood there with complete and utter shock on my face. The waitress happened to glance back at me and saw my face and then proceeded to say in a nonchalant tone, «Oh…Are you being helped?» With the same expression on my face I said, «No.» Then one of the employees who saw me when I initially came in, finally walked over to the desk with a bored look on his face and without even saying hello, unwillingly assisted me. In the midst of me paying for the order, there was another woman with short hair who was packing my pizza and was somewhat friendly, but by that time the damage was already done and I was furious and hurt inside. I’m so disappointed that this is the treatment that a person who pays their money for a product and service is treated. I don’t know if this was a racial discrimination issue or not and I don’t want to automatically assume so, but I will never give them my service or recommend them ever again! Please choose another location or take your money elsewhere!

For starters, we didn’t have pizza. After working since 6 am, my employees decided they wanted lunch here, and since we have to get started at 5 am tomorrow, I was going to settle for a ‘light’ lunch of soup and ½ four-cheese sandwich lunch special. The soups for lunch are endless and plentiful. I started out with French Onion from the kitchen. Within a few minutes, the sandwich came out of the kitchen too. Toasted on the grill with shredded cheese on the outside, it was pretty tasty with a nice crust. I ran back to the soups for a second helping, this time the cheddar broccoli. Overall, it warmed me up on a cold day. What really made the visit great was our server, Kenyotta. First, what a unique name. Second, Kenyotta gave us fantastic service. One of my employees lives in the area and dines there every so often with her family. Kenyotta asked about her daughter, and got caught up on things. She brought out fresh bread and refilled our drinks on a regular basis. The fourth star was for Kenyotta.

This may or may not have been my first time here, I don’t recall, but it was A-OK! Food was good, we came in for lunch. I got the Cobb salad(chopped), my boyfriend got the turkey avocado sandwich and a Caesar salad(a lunch special), and we also got the crab and shrimp dip for an appetizer. Most notable though was our waitress, Anna, who was very friendly, knew her menu, gave us some personal preferences, checked on us appropriately, and never made us feel rushed, only welcomed. You got yourself a good team member there, Unos. Atmosphere was fine, bathrooms were clean though they could use a better towel dispenser in the girls bathroom and the stall doors could use some work. All in all, my first experience says this is a decent choice.

This fall the pizza was great for carry out. Excellent ingredients and cooked perfectly. This winter I dined in and the individual deep dish was subpar. Burned crust and very dry. Barely enough cheese. Tomatoes tasted like tin from the can they probably came in. Did the food change or is the individual deep dish just not the same cooking as a large pizza? Always friendly and courteous staff.

I have been here for lunch a couple of times and for dinner once. I have had amazing experience. The minestrone soup served during lunch is the awesomest soup I have had. The mediterranean flat bread pizza is also very nice. I also tried Farmers Market deep dish pizza which was awesome! I would love to try out their other offerings. I would definitely suggest this place!
