Food was good, service was fine but the menu was extremely limited. I think there was only one soup and only 3 desserts on the dessert menu. I had high hopes since I thought they might have fondue or other chocolate items on the menu– given the name. The lighting was also too dim.

Loved this place when I came here for a business dinner. First, the location, parking, ambiance, décor and layout of the restaurant were great. The food was wonderful — was there with a big group, so we ordered tons of different things but what I had/tried were: AZ Egg Roles, White Chocolate Grill Brownie, Southern Chicken Salad and the Pulled Pork Nachos. WOW on all of the food I tried… especially the Pulled Pork Nachos which at first I thought«huh?» but then when I tried it O-M-G yum. Will definitely come back here… wish they had one in Tucson where I live.

Came here with my friends around 6? I believe? We were seated right away, and to my surprised the place got crowded within minutes. Our waitress was on point, despite how quickly she spoke to us she was informative. We had to hear her say it again. Definitely check out their drinks, lots of variety! For dinner, I ordered the Award-Winning Citrus-Soy Salmon. Fresh and excellent quality. If you want quality over quantity, order this. However if you’re hungry, I would choose something else. Definitely coming back! Hope this helps!

This has turned into a favorite«go to» spot — sometimes just for one of their delicious entrée salads! The service is always professional and friendly. The food is always top notch. Yup, guess that’s why it’s our go to. Here is the latest! We ran in for a late lunch. Sat in the bar enjoying happy hour house wine while waiting for two delicious Southern Fried Chicken salads. A manager shows up with our salads and apologizes for the delay. What delay? We waited maybe 15 minutes, 20 max, but we were happily sipping wine and chatting. The manager explained that the kitchen felt they fried the chicken a bit too long so they quickly made us fresh salads. He then comped our wine. Wow. They aren’t serving fast food so didn’t think 15 mins was excessive. They have high standards for themselves. I do love that salad, the crispy, juicy chicken and ranch dressing for this particular salad is house made with fresh tarragon. So good! The filet mignon salad is terrific too.

We played a fun game of hide and seek here with our waiter. Except he was really good at this game and once he went away, we could never find him or he was too busy mingling with older customers. We had to seek him out multiple times and when he did come by, he would quickly rush away before we even completed what we were saying. I’m not kidding, while we were saying our order, he would already be turning his shoulder to go away. Anyways, very elegant place. Bring your friends here or family and dress somewhat nice(don’t come in gym shorts, hoodie, or sweat pants). The food was not too appealing, nothing to special, nothing that will blow you away. So that equates to… me never coming here again for food. I’m saying this because all 7 of us agreed that it was overrated. The dessert was good according to my friends. They have like three options and i think it may be worth it to stop in for the dessert. Ambiance 5/5, Service 1/5, Food 2/5, Dessert 4⁄5

The white chocolate grilled brownie was the best part! Got exactly what I expected with that and it was delicious! Also got the Veggie Burger but it wasn’t too great. The food could’ve been more flavorful and spicier. The restaurant itself seemed really nice, works well for group and just 1on1 dinners. The worst part of the night was the service. Our group was not loud or obnoxious yet we were ignored throughout most of the night. Overall the place is alright. Looks fancy but nothing special or a must try

We stopped in here for a business outting with some of my coworkers and a couple of clients. I did not pick it, but I must say it was a refreshing change from the typical work related meal of late. These have mostly involved sports bars, crummy food, rot gut cocktails and overly flirtatious waitresses that have about a 12 word vocabulary. Maybe I am starting to have a positive influence on my collogues. This place is apparently a chain, though I had never heard of it before, and I am not one of those people that really cares either. I care about the food, not who owns the place. That being said, this was pretty impressive for upscale casual dining. The atmosphere and amenities are really damn near decadent. We showed up during the transition for early evening dinners to night on the town types and at that point the lighting got lowered and it became much more intimate. So much so that It actually felt kind of odd with 6 guys in business suits sitting around a table across from one another. On the flip side of the coin, this would be a perfect place to bring a girl on a first date, as it is not over the top fine dining that is a bit much for a first date, but it’s not friggin TGI Friday’s either. We were there for almost 3 hours, and did not skip a course(guess who was not picking up the check?) so I really have much more ammo for this review than I would at most places I have only been to once. First off, our server was an absolute rockstar. She provided the best service I have received from any establishment I have visited since moving here, and that list is getting fairly long. Granted this is often luck of the draw, but she nailed it to the point to solidify 4 stars out of me. Her recommendations were also on the money in every regard. Often servers will just recommend the most expensive entrees possible to inflate the check. She instead put the fact that she has probably had everything on the menu dozens of times to very good use and it was much appreciated. I typically do not drink hard alcohol at times like these, but since everyone else was pounding down martinis and Jack and Cokes, I figured why not? Since all the other guys just fired off drink orders that reflected their«usual», I decided to inquire as to what to go with and asked her to bring me her favorite cocktail. It came in a large Martini up glass, with the outside drizzled in chocolate swirls and it contained an off-white liquid. I am not sure what was it in, but damn was it good! It had a vanilla and hazelnut flavor but still had enough vodka kicking in that it was a legit martini. Delicious. We ordered several appetizers to share. All were more than adequate, but a particular tip of the hat to the Ahi Tuna and especially the parmesan artichoke. If you are a fan of artichoke, OMG you are going to love this. It has a really delicate flavor profile and the aioli sauce it is served with is an excellent pairing! I had to actively restrain my impulses to avoid hoarding it all to myself. Everyone else I was with ordered steaks for entrees. They reported back that they were about on par with Ruth Chris, but not quite up to the Capital Grill. As for me, I wanted to be different so I went with the blackened Mahi. It was just a little bit overcooked for my taste, but the crabmeat and spicy Creole sauce on top made up for it. I am all about flavor contrasts, and it was very well executed. The couscous side was quite well made(couscous is easy to screw up) and the toasted pistachios over the top added some needed texture. OK, so dessert time comes around and I was already pretty stuffed, but after seeing what they had to offer I would of had to of been out of my mind to not order one. No BS, this is arguably one of the best places for dessert offerings I have ever been to. It is in my top 3 with zero hesitation. I am not going to even bother giving details on this one. If you have not tried them, get in your car and go there. They are that damn good! Everyone else had cordials after-dinner drinks, but I just opted for some VERY strong and bitter coffee. This was much needed after going through what turned out to be an olympic level lunch, dinner, drinks and dessert all rolled into one. The bottom line is this: If you are in the Schaumburg area and are in need of a night out, you could do a hell of a lot worse than this place. Further, the desserts here are world class and will surly impress anyone unless they happen to be in a coma.

My husband and I decided to have our anniversary dinner here and we enjoyed every minute and bite! The chicken enchiladas were delicious and the herb roasted chicken was tasty and juicy. Our drinks were awesome!(white chocolate and the frisky whiskey martini). For dessert we had the white chocolate banana pie and it was so fresh and the home made graham cracker crust was so yummy. Our service was fast, friendly and efficient and the place had a very calming ambiance.

I really enjoy the food here. The 12-hour pulled pork sandwich and french fries are top-notch. The honest American burgers and french dip sandwich are also very good. I lived in the area for 2 years and ate out 7 days a week, and this was my favorite restaurant in the area. I have the feeling that most items on the menu are very good. Just be smart and don’t order a steak. It’s not a steak house.

Love coming here for bar food happy hour. Atmosphere is fancy while also being chill enough for you to rock jeans and a shirt. The bbq pork nachos are awesome. If you like whiskey, they have a butt load of different kinds here.

I know this restaurant is a chain, but it doesnt feel that way. I sat at the bar, since I was traveling solo for work. I was able to watch the blackhawks game and US Women’s soccer from where I was sitting. I ordered the quinoa burger with fries and ranch dressing. HOLYCOW(no pun intended). BESTVEGGIEBURGEREVER. BESTRANCHDRESSINGEVER! I kinda want another one right now…

Came here for a friend’s bday dinner. 3÷5− grilled artichokes. Only two pieces came with the order and majority was too hard to eat 3÷5− whisky mushroom soup. You really do have to be 21 to eat this! The liquor is strong, overwhelmingly so. 5÷5− spicy jambalaya. I was very pleasantly surprised by this dish. Shrimp, sausage and chicken in a very tasty broth(spicy too!) over rice. The side of broccoli was good too, I just wished it wasn’t smothered in parm cheese. 5÷5− white bread pudding. Delicious! Served with whipped cream, but I bet it would be even better with some cold vanilla ice cream!

Service was fast, too fast. Our dinner was rushed. The check brought out with the dessert. We took care of the check before starting our dessert and though I wanted a refill on my drink, our waitress was gone! As soon as the check was paid she disappeared. However… OMG! The food here is soooooo good! I am a pretty picky person when it comes to eating out and I can tell you I didn’t have a single thing to complain about in regard to the food. I had the spinach artichoke dip appetizer which was absolutely the best I’ve had. It was creamy and delicious. My entrée was equally delicious, and the dessert… WWWWOOOOWWWW!!! SOOOOGOOD! It was the White Grilled Brownie… HEAVEN. I will definitely be back, I just hope the service is less rushed next time. I seriously can’t stop talking about that brownie…

Impressive. Came here tonight with my wife. We were in the area and decided to try this place out. The server was really nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich and my wife got the Buffalo chicken flatbread. The food came out extremely quick. They did something on my pulled pork I’ve never seen done on a pulled pork. They put coleslaw on the top bun and the pulled pork on the bottom bun. At first it looked like it was going to taste horrible because I generally don’t like coleslaw. However I decided to put it together anyway and try it. WOW, it tasted AMAZING! The flavors blew my mind. I wasn’t even that hungry and ended up smashing the whole thing. The honey roasted carrots I got on the side were really good too. My wife’s buffalo chicken Flatbread was really good to and HUGE. It actually was big enough to feed the both of us if needed. I plan to return here next time in the vicinity or on lunch from work since I only work 10 minutes from here.

Hm… I think after reading the reviews for this place, my expectation for them was high but was not greeted/presented near that on a Saturday night. Made a reservation the day before for 8PM for 4. Got there on time and had to wait another 20 some mins before a table was ready. It’s so dark inside i feel like you can’t even consider it «romantic» anymore. I see many people holding the menu’s close to their face just to be able to read the small printed letters. The restaurant was pretty packed on a Saturday night. They have a huge selection of liquor at the bar and a few tv’s hanging. The waiters/waitresses were all busy walking around getting food out. Literally 2 mins after our party sat down to eat, someone already came to our table and asked what drinks and appetizers we wanted. I JUSTSATDOWN. Didnt even have a chance to open up the menu to see what they have.(dislike #1) SO i was like, please give us a few mins, this is our first time here. And 2 mins later, another waitress swings by to grab our drink order. ICETEA! i blurted out. That was the first drink that came to mind. :phew, got THAT over with: then 5 mins later after our drinks were brought out, she expected us to order already. So someone was like, Please, just give us a min and we will be ready. skimming frantically thru the menu…(dislike #2) 2 mins AND guess who’s BACK!!! So. blackened salmon, bbq trio, bacon cheeseburger and another cheeseburger. DONE!!! ok, got our orders out! :takes a deep breath: chit chatted… chit chatted… waited waited… getting really hungry… NOREFILLSONDRINKSORWATER… waited and waited… no sign of waitress… waited… 30mins has passed… oh! waitress stopped by and said our food will be coming out shortly… no drink refills… waited for another 10mins and finally got our food close to 9:15 — 9:30. By this time, a lot of patrons had left already.(dislike #3) I honestly don’t see what the rave is all about for this place. My BF’s bacon cheese burger was just OK. Had better homemade ones by him. The beef patty is good portioned, a generous chunk of shredded cheese, paired with a slice of bacon and burger buns. The side of fluffy mashed potatoes was not too bad though. My BBQ Trio is okay. Big plate. I wouldnt be able to finish this even if i was starving. Pulled Pork was tender and well marinated, bbq ribs was good. Meat fell right off. The chicken is nothing special. Something i can make easily at home. The hand cut fries were the skinny kind. Not too bad but nor did it stand out. My other two friends were so hungry by that time, they just scarfed down their food. They said it was good because they were really hungry. lol Both did enjoy their food tho. Anyway, waitress came back and asked how the food was. I asked for a cup of water because my iced tea was watered down and became warm tea already. She’s like SUREEE! and took our dessert order.(grilled brownie was pretty good to be honest!) Sadly, i never got my water. When she came back shortly with the check after our dessert was delivered, i asked for a bag to put my to go boxes in. Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd she never came back. By this time it was 10ish and there was a light group of people still in the restaurant.(dislike # 100 lol) I can’t say i had a bad experience but nor was it good by any means. Nor will i be returning if im ever in the area. I understand they want to turn tables as quickly as they can and fulfill each customer but the way our waitress was doing it was just awful. I didnt have a enjoyable dinner w/my friends nor could i enjoy my food. Most if it was brought home. In conclusion: No Refills on drinks, I never got my water, hardly saw my waitress, showed up to take orders($$$), never got my bag i asked for. And still left a generous tip… which i dont think she deserved at all. So why would i ever come back? Even if they have yummy desserts? nah… ill try somewhere else ;) 2 Stars for Sh*t service and 3 Stars for food. 4 Stars for the really nice and polite Valet Guy up front. Seems like he’s the only one who knows how to treat customers.

World-class bourbon selection. The whiskey sampler flight is the way to go to experience different blends. I’ve eaten a variety of items at White Chocolate but my go-to is the whiskey ribs w/a side of side of bourbon mac n cheese(health food). The ribs are tender enough where the meat fells off the bone. Overall great good, drink and atmosphere!

My best friend raved and raved and raved about how we must go to White Chocolate. This went on for over a year before we finally made it there. Armed with a reservation, we headed over on a super-busy Friday night and were seated in one of the amazing tall booths.(Beyond amazing! Would have been perfect for a date, haha.) Our meal was great — I had the Cajun Chicken Burger with Mardi Gras rice, and she ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad. I originally hesitated to order the rice, but it sounded great and I felt like being brave. Delicious it was! Good choice. For dessert, we had the Chocolate Soufflé. This was my friend’s choice — I’m not much of a dessert-eater — and it was okay. Standard American super-sweet chocolate, but bearable. The one hiccup we had, was that I ordered a half glass of wine(3 oz.), and the waitress delivered a full-size. It was a half-filled small glass of wine(not the huge ones you sometimes get), so it looked right. Lo-and-behold, I was charged for the full-size and the waitress said I got the full-size. Hmm… Given I debated the two sizes with the waitress before ordering and even said«half-size» more than once when I finally decided, it seemed odd that she would mess this up. This wouldn’t have been much of an issue if she just glossed over it and maybe apologized, but she pushed it to try and make me feel stupid. Ouch. Long-story-short, I’d happily come back. I was very pleased with my entrée, the menu is expansive, and the ambiance is truly lovely.

I finally came back here after they changed their name from Lincoln Whisky Kitchen to White Chocolate. Honestly, not much has changed. Some menu items are either no longer there with new ones added to replace them, and they have added some different desserts. Beyond that, it’s the same. The atmosphere is still very nice for being casual. I still think it is a little dark, but that’s just me. You can still get whisky drinks, and if you don’t like that they have a variety of other alcoholic beverages. The service is still great — no complaints there! They are always attentive and friendly. And last but not least, the food is still good! The pulled pork is great, and the brownie is amazing! If nothing else, just come for the brownie. I do miss the mac and cheese though :(

My wife and I and our 6 month old Ventured out to dinner here. If you have kids you know it can be a hard thing to eat out with newborn… We tried to rock our baby to sleep and a waitress rolled her eyes at us(not knowing we saw). I was horrified… I was upset to be looked at like that… I stewed and then said something to the manager who handled it amazingly… She turned a bad night into something special Note to those who«serve» always assume peoe see your expressions… Your tips depend on it As for the food. Very good and the white chocolate they shave on deserts is amazing

WOW, what a HUGE selection of Bourbon… I was mesmerized by the awesome selection they had and the specialty cocktails they had based on whiskey. they even have whiskey flights so you can try a few at a time. the food was also very good here. The Jambalaya and the ribs were the stand outs here. the ribs were fall off the bone good. we also had pulled pork nachos and those were very good. I also tried the balsamic ribeye steak and that was not so good. I didn’t care for the balsamic marinade and while the steak was cooked perfectly medium rare for me, but it seemed like the steak itself wasn’t of great quality. lots of chewy fatty pieces. I know, I ordered a ribeye, it’s supposed to be fatty, but damn, I was hoping the fat would be caramelized or something. for dessert we ordered the bread pudding and the brownie sundae. both were very good, but the bread pudding was awesome, something I’d definitely order again. now the only thing that was not kosher about the evening was that we had a 730pm reservation and we ended up waiting for 45 minutes to get sat. this was completely unacceptable. they did try and make up for it by comp’ing us an(one) appetizer… but this seemed like an inadequate way to make up for it for a party of 7. I was too mesmerized by the huge bourbon selection to notice we were waiting for 45 min, but the rest of the group was quite annoyed. I will probably be back again to have dinner in the future, that amount of bourbon is hard to resist! but only if I can convince the wife to overlook the short comings of the hosting staff and give them another chance.

One quick glance at the menu and the first thing I see is «Bourbon Ice Cream Sliders», why would I NOT try White Chocolate? They had me at «bourbon»… and«ice cream»… and«sliders»… :-| I made reservations for a Friday night, ON Friday afternoon, and there were no problems, surprisingly. We arrived a few minutes early and they sat us right away. The menu is FILLED with items I wanted to try(and will surely return to try) that I took a solid 20 minutes to even choose something to order :-D. For appetizers we ordered the Buffalo Chicken Flatbread: Warm flatbread topped with fiery buffalo chicken and bleu cheese spread, and the AZ Egg Rolls: Traditional egg rolls filled with spicy grilled chicken, corn, black beans and jack cheese. With jalapeño dipping sauce and salsa. Both were so good that I honestly struggled to decide which one I liked more(ultimately determining the eggs rolls). They both had the perfect amount of fire/spice flavor to it, and even more so when dipping the egg rolls in the habanero sauce :-). For our main dishes, between the three, we ordered: The Dancing Crab Cakes: Moist whole crab meat served with classic tartar sauce.(very full, crabmeat taste. Freshly prepared and perfectly spiced.) For the side I chose the Israeli Couscous, which was PHENOMENAL! I wish I would’ve discovered this before and hopefully can find other places who serve this; definitely recommend this for a side. Award-Winning Citrus-Soy Salmon: Fresh salmon in Asian spices, citrus and soy. Grilled and topped with Japanese sesame cucumbers.(tender, melt-in-your-mouth type tenderness, very flavored with the Asian spices and soy. Can’t go wrong with this dish) BBQ Bacon Burger: Smoked bacon, shredded cheddar and chopped onion with choice of Whiskey or Classic BBQ Sauce.(very classic burger. Thick meat patty, juicy bacon, nothing wrong with downing one of these bad boys.) Along with dinner I paired my meal with a few Kentucky bourbon barrel ales, literally the PERFECT beer, and I don’t want to hear any arguments against it!!! And being that White Chocolate has a foundation built on bourbon/whiskey, we HAD to do a whiskey flight; it’s pretty much mandatory!(hypothetically, not literally, don’t worry) They have a VERY extensive whiskey list, I believe over 175 selections. The waitress was very knowledgeable in assisting us in making a good decision on our flight(The International), and I couldn’t have been happier with it. Again, I will have to return to try more, but I was pleased with every selection in that flight and would recommend it as a solid starter. The food/beer/whiskey being the perfect precursor to what epic dessert menu lay ahead of us. Naturally, I went with the Bourbon Ice Cream Sliders: Honey Bourbon Ice Cream served on a warm profiterole«bun.» Served with marshmallow whiskey fudge sauce. You may want to re-read that over like 4 or 9 times because you might miss how amazing it really is. I devoured all 3 of these, despite the appetizers, big meal, and plenty of alcohol that preceded, and it was worth every forced bite :-). We also ordered the Silky Chocolate Soufflé Cake(A warm chocolate soufflé cake served with Crème Anglaise and whipped cream) and the White Chocolate Grill Brownie(A warm blonde brownie served á la mode with chocolate sauce and whipped cream). My favorite still being the bourbon ice cream sliders with the white chocolate grill brownie coming in a very close second(who can resist grilled brownie AND white chocolate!?) The waitress and hostess were very very helpful and friendly; we loved conversing with them, they made it very fun(thanks Corbin!) Everything was great from top-to-bottom, from app-to-dessert… I’d be disappointed in myself if I didn’t return a few more times to finish the menu. Anyone care to join?!
