Never had a bad experience here. Great food better prices, and always leave full or with leftovers. Clientele is on the older side but that doesn’t bother me, they know a good deal when they see it. Always a good choice for your wallet and your stomach

Always friendly staff, has more of a family atmosphere than many places that try to rush you out. Excellent food generous portions. I rarely eat in dinners or restaraunts so not sure how this relates price wise, but I always feel I got a good deal.

Friendly staff, fast food. Would of gave 5 stars but these guys haven’t figured out how to make toast, the simplest of things… either soggy bread loaded with butter or burnt and no butter… I don’t get it. Prices have also gone up quit a bit in last year. Otherwise love this place!

The Bellevue Café is an exceptional diner. You are greeted and seated right away, even when there is a line out the door you won’t have to wait long. And it is well worth the wait if you do find a line at the door! The servers are fast and friendly. You get a big bowl of the most delicious soup in town, along with a basket of bread, butter, and crackers when you order any of the lunch or dinner specials. The specials are very reasonably priced and you will not leave hungry. The portions are generous, to say the least. I always leave with leftovers. You also get dessert with the specials, usually tapioca or rice pudding or jello. They also have awesome cheesecake. The chefs salad is huge and the Greek salad with chicken is awesome too. I have never left here unhappy. I bet you won’t either.

In a city filled with great diners, this place kinda flies under the radar. Just ate there for the first time and I’ll say everything was top notch. The place was clean. Servers friendly. The food came out fast and was served on clean dishes. I’ll be back.

Can’t believe I grew up in Rotterdam and visit parents all the time and I have never been there until tonight! Wow what I have been missing all these years! I started off with a HUGE bowl of cream of chicken soup which was amazing. Then I had a chefs salad which was a meat fest! Wow!!! My dad had the baked scrod and it looked really good!!! I can’t wait to go back again!!!

Nice small diner, has the feel of a late 50’s early 60’s era place. As you walk in, you are greeted by the dessert case. Parking can be tricky as it is on a major road, but there is also parking on the other side near a side street. Food was delicious, with prompt service and helpful staff, even if they weren’t our waitstaff. My wife and I had two lunch specials that included soup, dessert, and drink and we had leftover food for the next day for under $ 30 including tip. Can’t ask for much better. I had a New Yorker wrap. Contained lots of vegetables, horseradish mayonnaise that had a kick to it, but wasn’t over powering. My starter was a salmon rice soup. It came in a bowl, I expected a little cup, but was pleasantly surprised when a bowl showed up. My wife had a chicken cordon bleu sandwich and soup. The sandwich was good sized, chicken moist and tender also. Our desserts were vanilla pudding for my wife and chocolate cake with strawberries for myself. The only complaint here, and it is just my preference mind you, is that there was a lot of whip cream. Bathrooms are clean, neat and hidden.(Not a bad idea.) Also there is free wifi. Overall very nice place, will definitely be back to try breakfast.

This my favorite local restaurant. It’s very close to home and the employees are great. The cream of chicken and the mushroom soups are delicious. You can’t beat the prices for lunch and dinner specials. Most of the lunch specials come with soup and desert for $ 7.50 to 10 dollars. My wife loves the giant chicken souvlaki salad. I usually get one of the seafoods with rice and they are always great. Good food at great prices.

Had dinner here last evening. Ordered minestra for the soup and Greek chicken and roasted potatoes for the entrée. The minestra was unlike anything I had ever seen before. First it was thick. It had the beans. Plus carrots, broccoli stems and various other unidentifiable vegetables. It tasted(and smelled) like overcooked broccoli. Perhaps they put the 4 souips from the previous day together and hoped no one would notice. The«Greek» chicken forgot the Greek. It was nothing more than plain, underseasoned roast chicken. No lemon. No oregano. Just dry roast chicken. The roasted potatoes were not browned, but they were the best part of the meal. Two stars because my cat enjoyed the leftover chicken when I got home.

Breakfast review only. Clean place, decent service, good standard food fare with no major bells n whistles. Limited menu. Not bad but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

My co-workers and I go here twice a week after meetings and love it. Great food, freshly made, homemade ingredients and a great selection for a reasonable price. Get there before noon if you want a seat. You will see the same people there every time you go, which is the sign of a good restaurant. The servers are quick and professional with just the right amount of attitude! Great lunch specials and huge dinner portions. Make sure you’re hungry when you go there. It doesn’t really matter what you order it’s all good!

Amazing homemade food. Hearty portions. One of the largest and cheapest lunch special menus in the area. I ordered the lunch lasagna which turned out to be a massive dinner sized portion. It came with a very large bowl of cream of chicken soup, that was delicious. And a small rice pudding dessert for only $ 7.99.

very disappointed that they do not understand food allergies! I am gluten free and need to take care of myself which I understand but they tried to remove the season fries by talking them off the plate and still giving me the same food. A waitress there has the same allergy and you would think in today’s time with the number of people who have allergies they would be more sensitive to «our» needs. There was not one soup out of three that I could eat, either cream or noodles… Yes people are happy there because the portions size and specials are great for the average person but really now, can’t we get with the times and meet the needs of everyone! PS they took everything off my plate and still after my partner ate by themselves, I was still charged full price! No one SORRY came from them… Will not be going back!

The chicken souvlaki salad is amazing. I’ve had it twice this week. The Soups are always good and there’s a lot to choose from. Big portions and prices are very reasonable.

Clean comfortable family owned and operated diner in the Bellevue area. Have been here many many times back when I worked nearby and it was a fav for lunch for me and my staff. Everything is homemade soups are included with almost everything. The specials are cheap with good size portions, the staff is friendly and efficient — not just one waitress per table they all help each other expedite proficiently, Perfect place to take my handicap mother because it is small and we can park right in front of the door and its just a few quick steps inside and to a table. Highly recommend for some cheap yet substantial eats that beats having to cook and clean my own kitchen some nights. Much cheaper than Top’s with limited evening hours — they close at 8pm.

Now, I went to the correct location. Had the dinner salad, zita with Italian sausage, and tapioca. Dallas doesn’t have anything like this place. I met one of the owner’s, go figure. Thanks Joy Q. for recommending it. Oh by the way your son and neice provided great service and great food. I will now see if my siblings will stop by there instead of the other place. Glad I stopped by. More than wll worth it!!!

Probably one of the best diners to go to or breakfast. Portions are huge. Coffee is practically endless. Has that small hometown feel when you walk in, even though it sits just inside the city line.
