Went back again! I’m Pulled into the relaxed pace of the place. It must be the«down home simplicity«of the place. But nothing simple about the food! Another great breakfast. I just love the Corn Beef Hash. The best I ever tasted! Updated the star to one more!!!

Great Breakfast! All is homemade and I really like the atmosphere inside. Outside is nothing to write home about, but the food inside is all good and usually arrives in a timely manner. To top it off, the music is pretty funky a lot of the time.

Excellent breakfast and service. I wish I had discovered this place earlier. Their Italian Sausage is out of this world. Great find!

Going out to lazy breakfast has become a birthday tradition for my boyfriend and I, and I love how it’s nice and low-key. We’ve been visiting the same local favorite since the first birthday together, Sally’s Streetside Café! I am know to order my favorite item on the menu, the Italian sausage with egg and cheese sandwich. I love it on one of the HUGE English muffins, but I’ve enjoyed the sandwich on a hard roll when all the customers before me got to the good stuff first ;) I’ve also enjoyed omelets and pancakes at Sally’s, and each meal I’ve tried has been as delightful as every other meal I’ve ever had at Sally’s. This place seriously doesn’t disappoint. It’s no wonder so many of my local friends and neighbors eat here; it’s a little diamond worth hunting for! It’s one of the places I like to bring my out of town guests when they come to town to see what a friendly, adorable little village Scotia truly is! Sally and her staff are always not only friendly and warm, but also entertaining. We always leave Sally’s with a huge smile on our face and in our bellies.

This place is awesome owner Sally is the cook here and when she says that everything is home made she means it. The day I went I wanted to try the corn beef hash but she was out of it but nonetheless the breakfast was superb. First I started with a cup of coffee and it hit the spot, nice and fresh and hot. I order a bacon and cheese omelete with home fies and white toast. This was the most fluffy omelet I ever had, the bacon was cook perfectly and the amount of cheese in it was good. The wait staff here are very good, always going around refilling coffee which is a huge plus in my book. Sally comes out and makes sure everything is perfect which I love because she really cares about her customers. Definitely will be back here when I am in the area to try their corn beef hash

Sally’s Streetside Café is a casual country eatery serving homemade breakfast and lunch, located in the Scotia Village Plaza. The atmosphere inside is very welcoming and homey with plenty of framed classic pictures on walls including Norman Rockwell prints and a CD jukebox. This strip plaza space is long and deep which has table seating in front and counter seating near the kitchen area. The breakfast menu offerings include eggs, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, Italian French toast, and breakfast sides. The lunch menu offerings include sandwiches, salads, soups, and sides. The prices are fair, most dishes priced $ 2.95-$ 8.95. Specials are offered and Sally’s is open for dinner on Friday nights with pasta night specials. Recently, I stopped in at Sally’s for a late breakfast around 1:10PM. I also saw a sign on the door for free wi-fi, so I brought my laptop inside and sat myself at an open table. The table was wiped down by the hostess, as I took a seat and was still very wet. I asked the hostess to dry the table off before I setup the laptop. I started out with some hot coffee, which was good, on the strong side. For breakfast, I decided on the Shelly Omelet($ 7.95) served with home fries, toast, & jelly. I requested egg whites, which was happliy obliged. The food came out quickly. The Shelly Omelet(with 3 egg whites) was folded over plenty of sliced tomatoes, chopped peppers, onions, sliced mushrooms, and cheese. The home fries were cut potato chunks, lightly deep fried, and the rye toast was buttered, grape jelly on the side. The food tasted pretty good and standard breakfast fare. The hostess walked around the dining room frequently with coffee pot in hand offering refills and topoffs, much appreciated. The staff was cleaning up the place after the breakfast crowd started to trickle out. I must’ve had 5 coffee top-offs during breakfast, until I said«no mas» and pretty wired. I also enjoyed the free wi-fi service(reading online newspapers back in NH), which was a good fast connection(no password). The waitress was also surprised that I was connected online, since they’ve been having difficulty connecting for the past week. Overall, a solid good breakfast with plenty of coffee and free wifi with a good connection. On this recent visit to Sally’s, the food was 3 stars, the atmosphere 3.5 stars, the fresh brewed bottomless coffee 4.5 stars, and the service 4 stars. The free wi-fi was a bonus!
