Did the management change? I have stayed at this hotel at least once a month for the last three years but my last two visits have been really bad. Rooms not ready. The front desk staff has changed and they have no clue they are in the hospitality business. Today they were actually folding bath towels at the front desk. For reelz???
It is time to find a new hotel.

Good location behind Chili’s as well as easy access to I-​35 & the plenty of shopping across the street, very friendly front desk staff as well as housekeepers that are pretty thorough in their roles. In addition, the morning breakfast choices are pretty good, and the gym area was sufficient (two treadmills, one bench press area with free weights). The WiFi access was reliable as well, yet you’ll have to remember that it runs in 24-​hour cycles and will cut off from the time that you logged on to the network from the previous day.
I stayed a total of four nights, and found the room to have been quite comfortable. Aside from one small room incident where the GM (Mr. Corona) remedied right away (electrical circuit breaker), the stay would have been as perfect as it gets. This really deserves to be 4.5 stars, yet I’ll have to go with 4 for now.
I’ll certainly stay here again as well as recommend this location if needed good access to San Antonio and New Braunfels.

Solid option! Free breakfast and wifi, rooms clean and comfortable. Towels were a bit rough, but at this point we’re splitting hairs.
This location is close enough to New Braunfels, San Marcos, San Antonio — we made this our home base when we spent a weekend visiting all of the above.
Located in Schertz, there is plenty within a few blocks: HEB, walmart, tons of chain type restaurants.

If I could pick no stars I would. Manager Javier is a dick. Front desk was not helpful. They offer amenities in online booking that they don’t actually have on site nor will they ever offer.
