Met a couple of lady friends there for lunch today, and all three of us agreed the food and service were GREAT! I had the Classic Bacon Burger, and it was perfection… thick meat patty, perfectly cooked and juicy; great, fresh lettuce and tomato, and the house-made pickles were fantastic. They were crisp and cool and added the perfect textural counterpoint to the hot, soft burger. Cheddar was melted on the burger. The fries, sliced thin and with the skin on, were yummy. One of the ladies had soup and the house salad, all of which she pronounced great. The other had soup and ½ sandwich, stuffed with good things and very tasty, according to her. VERY glad we went.

This place is so bad on so many levels. The hostess seems annoyed when people arrive and wish to be seated. Is this not her job? Our waiter was entirely ambivalent. My wife asked if their newest drink special was good, to which he replied, «I don’t know. I don’t drink.» Ok… we completely respect that, but don’t be so calloused and judgmental in your response. The food… the food is horrific. I ordered the chicken fajitas and it was like some sort of rubber/putty chicken with a sodium infused sauce poured over the top. It was one of the worst things I’ve ever eaten. I understand that Chili’s is not a top culinary destination. However, when it falls to below the level of the lowest fast food chain you have a problem.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, I don’t know what happened. And I’m a frequent customer, well I was. My friend ordered a berry margarita, no berries(they are supposed to come with them). Our food was acceptable, when it was done correctly. We ordered their new dessert the skillet cinnamon hardly any icing and no nuts at all. Nothing like the picture, terrible really. The server was nice but really? You know when you are serving something wrong. Also we had to take to ordering from the machine because he would disappear. But I can understand they get busy. And don’t get me started on that machine. Seems like a cool idea until it doesn’t work, which of course ours didn’t. Figures

For over 20 years Chili’s has been my favorite restaurant for special occasions. Tonight we attended this location after my daughters dance recital. I will likely not eat at Chili’s again. Our server had no idea what he was doing(no plates, no silverware until asked for multiple times). He could not explain why the fajitas I ordered did not come with lettuce, tomato, sour cream, a plate, or tortillas. He explained that since I ordered my fajitas with no onion that the lettuce and tomato, which are«normally cooked in the food,» are also excluded. My daughter ended up not eating because it took over 20 minutes to get a side order of ranch dressing. When I asked for sour cream, I eventually got a small shot glass of frozen sour cream with a jalapeño in it. My father asked for water with a lemon – after the first glass our server could not remember to repeat the service. Although we all had almost the same drink, he repeatedly to be asked to refill our glasses and could not remember what we had.
