I haven’t really been here since my childhood, and when I did go back — to introduce my six-year old Little Girl to bowling — I saw that the place really hasn’t changed much/at all since the 70’s. That’s both welcome and unfortunate — depending on what you want. If you like a bargain, are good with just the bare essentials, and like nostalgia, this is a great place for you. And be sure to bring a quarter to play«Mortal Kombat.» If you like amenities like«making reservations on-line», «food that isn’t from a vending machine», or «a bar», then this place isn’t for you. For me, the price is excellent(pay by string, bowling shoes included!), it’s in my town, and it has all that I need to kill some time and teach my Little Girl about bowling — including bumpers for kids — so it’s just about perfect.
