Satuit Hardware

As far as hardware shops go, its no ace. It is simply a small town shop there specifically for small town needs. This is not a bad thing. They sell plenty. From chain cut to custom length to a plethora of screws and nails to drive a hammer wild, you can find plenty of useful tools and equipment here. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. A great thing about it is its located close to everything else in Scituate Harbor. If you want a coffee after your visit, there is a coffee shop right next-​door. If you want Dunkins, you will have to walk down a ways but not that far. Easy to get to from the many parking areas. Its worth a visit if you need hardware. Plane and simple.

I am one of the least handy men in the United States so I’m not exactly «at home» in a hardware store. But that’s not the case in Satuit Hardware, the hardware store in my hometown which has been in its location under the bowling alley since I was a little boy.
I went in there this morning (they open at 7:30 AM weekdays) hoping for help in finding a key for bleeding my radiators (which I will continue to Google until I figure out how to do it) and whatever fluids I need for my new leafblower (two-​stroke oil).
The gentlemen working the counter was kindly, patient, informative, and very helpful. I made a point of telling my five-​year old Daughter how important it is to shop places that have people like him working there, which made him and her smile.
