Stopped here for lunch while driving long-distance between upstate NY and our home in Virginia. What a pleasant surprise to find such a heavenly place on a hot June day. The salads we ordered, the Autumn and the Spring, were made with fantastically fresh ingredients and artfully presented. Though we were almost the only patrons there at the time (it was late afternoon), we think the people of Scranton need to pack the house at all times. They deserve all the foodie stars they can get!

Organic farm to table food with some vegetarian options and reasonable prices. I had a delicious veggie burger made with quinoa. Unfortunately the cheese I ordered was not on the burger (the server said she just gives them the order and sort of washed her hands of it) and the burger was served with a side of pasta salad with ham – fine if you are not vegetarian. Returned to kitchen, returned to me with some mixed greens and flat pretzels, among which I found, you guessed it, a piece of ham. So bottom line, good food and I’ll probably try it one more time…
