I’m really amazed at how retarded the employees are at granteeds pizza. Ordered by phone at 7:25, the said give us about 15 min. Great, I arrived about 30 min. later to pick up a 12 in cheese pizza and she can’t find it. Mind you the restaurant is empty. She then tells me that the order slip must have fell. Really! The place is empty, it’s not like they had a full ticket rail. She then offers me the slice pie instead, but she’ll have to heat it up. No thanks! Save yourself the aggravation, don’t ever go to Granteeds pizza.

The pizza is by far one of the best pizzas in the area. I had to make sure I had the right restaurant to review when I saw the negative comments. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. The best hoagie is the italian. The way they wrap the lettuce inside the meat is just unforgettable. Will be coming back for years to come. Prices are very low for the quality of food. Great place!

In all the years that i’ve lived in and around Scranton(23), I have never eaten here. Now I can see why no one has ever suggested it. When you first walk in, the funky smell of the place hits you. This place has been here forever, and it smells and looks like it — strike one. The pizza literally has grease dripping from it — strike 2. The cheese/sauce wasn’t great, but i’ve had worse — not by much though –and you’re out! The one thing I will give them, a nice thin, crispy crust. I feel bad because it’s right across from the U and this is all some of those kids have available. I’m sure those poor students are the only thing keeping this place afloat.

It’s alright. Their food is okay. Their service isn’t the friendliest but they aren’t jerks either. Delivery is pretty slow. I’ve never had anything from here that makes it better than anywhere else. But it’s convenient and works if you are near by. Usually they aren’t too busy and have plenty of seating.

If you’re drunk and can only stumble here there will be food. The pizza here isn’t that good. Delivery takes a while. When all is said and done, you’re in Scranton, and there are so many excellent pizza places that you should simply choose another.

Delivery is a joke and I would recommend against it. All the prices are fair and I eat here regularly. The hoagies are stuffed well and are delicious. The pizza has a really flavorful sauce, a decent crust, and blend of cheeses that turns a lot of people off– it’s really greasy. Don’t go in expecting it to be a five star restaurant and you’ll leave more than satisfied. It beats a lot of similar places in Scranton. Be careful when walking in the parking lot during the winter, they have a leaky gutter(or something) and do a terrible job of ice removal.

I eat here about once a year after a night out. Walked in and walked out after the owner was too busy to even acknowledge us waiting to get our order taken. If you do eat here, the food is just another greasy scranton italian fast food pizza joint. Not bad not great.

This place is horrible !!! I ordered a cheese steak first l The lady was rude on the phone. When I got home there was bearly any meat on it. It was the worst and to top it off it was almost 7 bucks. STAYAWAY !!!

This review is all about the hot wing hoagie. There is nothing else on the menu at this establishment. Yes there are letters on a board and words somewhere on paper, but they are meaningless. They are a distraction. You only want the hot wing hoagie from Granteed’s. I won’t even mention any other item. I seriously ate this thing at least once a week when I went to college in Scranton.
