Have been coming here for 30 years. Try the Stromboli. It is absolutely amazing, and always the same, namely terrific.

Great & polite service & an amazing cheesesteak! On the road everyday & will stop here again!

This will be a much different review from the Rest on this page because those comments were made by ignorant people who’ve never eaten good pizza in their lives.
I travel all over the world on a pretty regular basis. I’ve been to 20+ Countries and had ample amount’s of Different styled food’s. One of the top food’s I’ve had in each and every country I’ve been in is… PIZZA.
Let me say this, not being a Scrantonian but a Well Minded Open individual. Sal’s Pizza is on my Top 10 of Pizza places in the WORLD. I’ve been eating there since i was a kid. The SAME FRIENDLY Staff has been there the entire time. The Delivery guy knows me by name. Not because I get delivery a lot but because he’s a nice person. These guys are true grit and so is their pizza.
As far as the way the pizza shop looks… It’s not a shiny place. Neither is any pizza shop that has good food. Too many people judge Food Places by the way their establishment looks. Not by how the food tastes. SO! If your not stylishly ignorant. Try this place out. You won’t regret it!

I’ve had to eat this pizza few times — delivered — cause my co-​workers at the time loved this place.
I hated it — the pizza was too oily and too salty to be considered as edible food.

Filthy place, below average ny style pizza with old scary, rude staff

Bla. Ever go to that place where you think you’re going to get a bugger in your food? If not then this is your place! You will get the evil eye nad possibly a bugger in you food! A girl who use to be called my sister (now known as a scum bag) use to work here. She is filthy, i know, i lived with here. she use ot make food here. My review says, Stay Away fom Sal’s.
