Went there on a Monday late afternoon, only two tables with customers, we sat down at a table, but no server came over. We finally got our drinks ourselves and asked for menus. When server still didn’t come to take our order, we paid for drinks and left. Not a great first impression.

The food was pretty good. We had 10 people in our group and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. My biggest issue with this place was the server. She seemed rude from the beginning. It seems as though what set her off was that we all had gone to the bar for some drinks before she got to our table. When we got to our table, we waited around for a few minutes and when no one came, we got our own drinks. She checked on us a few times after we received our food. When it came to the bill, we paid in 3 different groups.(She split the bill for us) i was in a group with 3 people and the bill was around $ 38. We gave her 2 $ 20s. We didn’t include the tip at this point bc we were searching for some more singles when she came around for the bill. We waited 15 mins for her to return with our change so we could give her an appropriate tip. Our server NEVER came back. I saw her take care of another table then she just didn’t come back out. She took the few $$ change as her tip!!! i asked another server if she knew where our server was and she asked if we needed anything else. I told her to tell our server that bc of her greed, she missed out on a REAL tip. Unbelievable!

First i’ll state that the atmosphere is stunning and classy. A ton of money was put into this place. Yet the service is not wonderful only because of poor management and high demands for the staff in addition the place is extremely busy during peak times. The food is pretty decent, the tuna bites are great, but a little skimpy in size. The buffalo bites are worth a try, large size and great sauce. The prices for food are reasonable, but the bar prices are a bit high for certain items. Remember you are at ski lodge bar though. That should be quite expected.

Cool atmosphere. Just sat down for a drink is all. Just one martini. $ 11?! That’s crazy! Good looked good as it came out but didn’t try any myself. I can imagine it’s just as pricey as the drinks though…

I thought I had found the worst bar in the Greater Scranton area. Turns out yesterday I found one that topped that list. If you know me, you know my strong feelings toward BYAH. Well I found a wait staff that is far less competent and has far less abilities to get drinks and do basic math. Yes I realized there was an event going on, in addition to the regular water park crowd. But with a relatively small bar for the space and 4 bartenders, they should have had a much better handle on things. I find it hard to believe that the soccer moms at the water park with there kids on the weekends create a normal demand for 4 bartenders at this very much out of the way bar/restaurant. So they had to have been staffed up. And yet, it still took me 30 minutes to get draft beer. It was actually a much shorter wait of about 15 minutes when the bar was busy and it was 2 deep. When there was space to breath, I waited a half and hour, then got WAY over charged. Prior to this point, the most I had ever paid for a Yuengling Lager was $ 5. That is counting«Classy» Scranton bars(I am not even sure I can legally type that phrase) to bars in NCY, Philly and eve reaching down the Naples Florida. Well that high mark has been shattered like the the flood of 2011 shattered markers at Knoebels. $ 8 I got charged for a lager. Now that being their actual price or a terrible bartender ripping me off, that is ridiculous. After ordering 3 $ 2 beers(Apparently the deal of the day, and an offer not extended to me) and one bottle of beer, totaling $ 9.50 I reminded the bartender I also ordered a lager draft. He came back post haste(please read this as sarcasm) and snatched my $ 20 directly out of my paw. He then came back slapped $ 2 one dollar bills and 5 dimes on the bar before turning away and retreating to the other end of the bar. Now if my basic math works here… that 20 – 2.5= …carry the one, add 6… divide by three. the answer is $ 17.50! Yay! now 17.50−9.50= square route of 13 multiplied by 3.14, x+y=beer…$ 8. $ 8! $ 8 for a Yuengling Lager DRAFT. Did he get into his car and drive down to Pottsville to get it right from the brewery? He must dive fast because it was still cold. At least they had that going for them. I’m glad they re-named the mountain back to Montage, but so far I am not happy with the rest of the place.
