What’s not to love? It’s a beautiful, sunny space with tall windows and a couple of café tables out front. Fantastic coffee, lunchy bites and house made pastries. My kids call it the muffin store, because the muffins are always fresh and delicious(if they haven’t sold out).

I’m partial when it comes to Starbucks, and i’ve never had coffee anywhere else until I discovered Lilly’s. The place also smells like coconut sometimes which is AMAZING and definitely a plus. The scones are NOT dry and the perfect size. Oh so yummy :)

I ordered the chicken sandwich which had cilantro and daikon on crusty bread. Was so delicious! Chicken was dark meat which I love. Had an Asian flair. Would definitely recommend. Was also warm & cozy inside on this 0 degree day.

I was an out of town visitor and folks referred me here. I got the BBQ pulled pork sandwich as recommended to me by the librarian and it was delicious! One of the best I’ve ever had. The juice I got was also refreshing. I wish I were in town longer to try more menu items!

Without exception, the food’s excellence derives from great care and attention to detail. Example: using pureed vegetables to thicken soup, rather than loading it up with cheap thickeners or cream. There are omnivore, vegan and vegetarian choices. All food is available from opening to closing – if they don’t sell out first. The muffins and tarts sell out quickly. Always a good complement to the robust coffee. The iced coffee is made from chilled coffee with frozen coffee cubes. This way, plain melting ice doesn’t dilute the drink. A thoughtful touch and indicative of how much care Lily and Walter take to get the details right. Breakfast/brunch items include egg sandwiches, waffles(with maple syrup, not«table» syrup), oatmeal with fresh fruit and a couple more choices. I often opt for a banana/cocoa/peanut butter smoothie. Like all the smoothies, it is satisfying, never cloying. Lunch items include a quinoa wrap whose name doesn’t do it justice. Sandwiches and soup, too. When it’s cold, get soup. My favorite is the squash, but you can’t go wrong with any of them, like black bean w/rice or coconut chicken. The slow-cooked beef is available less frequently – and the only reason not to order soup. Spring/summer, do not miss the lemonade. It’s shocking how good such a simple staple can be. Lily is a goddess!
