Would not recommend funnel cake. Over cooked and extremely oily. Only put powdered sugar in a small circle in the middle.

We had lunch delivered. Took over an hour and food was soggy. In fact as she took the bag out of her delivery pack, it ripped. Sorry won’t use them again!

Great little place for sisters and their sweet potato fries are great. The only hitch is they can be a little sow depending on how busy they are. Waited 25 minutes for my order the one day when they said 10. Other than that a good quality lunch or after drinking spot.

End of season recap: You can’t go wrong with anything here. I have always had a great experience. The only thing is that it is a little expensive. I can easily eat 4 of the burger sliders, it doesn’t matter what they are, they are all so good. I liked the fries, they are done well. I wish there was a little better area to sit, but you can always go around the corner to JFK and take up residence on a park bench, or watch something at the amphitheater if your timing is right. There is that other thing in sea isle next to the beach, called the ocean, nothing better than eating a few sliders listening to the waves. Oh, the wait is sometimes a little long, but that is because they are cooked to order, if you want McDonalds you are in the wrong place.

Great late night food! Grilled cheese with bacon and tomato is amazing! Oh and so are the fries and sliders!

Fries, Sushi, Funnel cake, Slider– This is the Menu in a nut shell… I really wanted this place to be better, Ahhhh it’s ok. POUTINEFRIES — Been thinking about them, They’re on the menu, and I am BANGED up at one in the morning, match made in heaven. Fries-good, Gravy-Aahhh, Cheese– no go. They ruined what could of been great by throwing half melted shredded bag cheese on great fries and gravy. I mean if your going to do it right, get the cheese curds. Now they are forever etched in my mind as having half ass poutine fries, re-selling sushi(Made at Tokyo off the island). Now that I think about it, they make fries, funnel cake and sliders… Only in America

We ordered 8 sliders received 6 sliders. When we took off the squashed aluminum foil to reveal a slider smaller than my fist smushed into a ball. The tomato basil slider looked disgusting, I took one bite of the BBQ chicken slider and had to put it down, we also received a slider that had nothing on it but a gray paste. We went to return the food because it was inedible and the staff was clearly drunk and could not understand that we did not want the food and simply wanted our money back. I would never recommend this place.

Freaking incredible. Best sliders I’ve ever had, and the fries are unbelievable. Nice and easy pick up at the window. A staple of SIC!

LOVE everything Drifters! Honestly the best fries on the island. I highly recommend BBQ Bacon Cheddar sliders and Old Bay fries– put Chickie and Pete’s to shame! The staff is awesome and the owner is almost always behind the counter. The only interesting food options in town too– try poutine fries, fried Oreos, sweet potato fries or special sliders.

When this first opens up in a town of drunken late night eating I wondered who would want sushi at 2 am after drinking all day. Well web 2 am rolled around I was in line for it. It was good then but not when you’re sober. The sliders are ok. Def better drunk The fries are great and they give you a big heaping serving of them. Def hit up at 2 am but be prepared to wait 20 mins and ensue a confusing drunken scene outside. Other times there are better options.

This place was probably my top food-related highlight of this past summer. The first thing my girlfriend and I are doing on our next trip to Sea Isle is hitting up Drifter’s. The sliders are delicious and the fries are amazing. The chicken fingers are extremely tasty too. I can’t describe how good the food actually is. They are open until 3AM on most nights and will definitely hit the spot if you’re on your way home from LaCosta or the OD. They deliver to your spot on the beach as well. Try them once and I guarantee you won’t regret it.

Gave it three tries, three sticks he is out… service to beach, no silverware, no napkins, seared tuna was good… sliders were ice cold, very very small portion of meat, roll not fresh… skimmers weekend sea salt fries were soggy greasy and mushy, owner says ur eating French fries what do you expect…6 or 8 dollars for a large cup only half full… No offer on giving money back. I was not the only unhappy person! What a rip off!

Drifters is amazing. I went there almost daily during my week down at the shore. I had the Irish nachos and they were amazing. I also had the chicken fingers one night that were good. Drifters has an interesting concept. It’s obviously aimed at the bar crowd with the munchies. sushi, fries, funnel cake, ice cream, and sliders. yummmmy. By the way, it’s a walk up window. They have tables outside sometimes but there are benches near by to eat at.

Just had the crab cake, Tom/moz/basil, chez burger sliders and fries. All was tasty for sure, the buns are super fresh. However, no wow from us. Surprised by the price(from NYC) for such a small quantity of tin foil wrapped food in a paper bag. 4 stars for service.

Came with a bunch friends. I had no say in where we were going as I am not familiar with the area and was not paying! Food was great. Wasn’t expecting much because it looked unassuming. We had an assortment of sliders. The crab cake and ahi tuna were my favorite. The sweet potato fries were very good as well. If I am ever I this part of Jersey again, I would definitely go back!

I love love LOVE Drifter’s! We made a kind of big order last night for my stepdaughter’s birthday and we REALLY chose the right place! This is a walk-up window pickup, so grab some food to take home, or eat on the beach! I think they actually deliver to the beach, as well. Every slider we had was delicious and the fries were great, too. Whether or not you eat meat, the tomato, mozzarella and basil slider is absolutely to die for. Think a caprese salad on a bun. I actually can’t wait to go eat one of the leftovers right now! I also had the bacon cheddar BBQ chicken slider, and that was great, too. Between all of us, we tried each of the 6 mix and match sliders and the chicken fingers, and there wasn’t a single complaint. I’d recommend trying each of them to find your own favorite, although it might just be the one we might have to try before we head home, the crab cake slider. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced, which at the shore definitely demands at least 4 stars, but what really set our experience apart for me was the service. When I called to make the order, I wasn’t really sure what the options were for the party platters and I think I confused the guy who answered the phone. Rather than trying to work through it and confusing EVERYONE, or accidentally giving me the wrong information, he immediately gave me to one of the owners, CJ, who walked me through every question and option I had and made sure we were ordering exactly what we needed. When we went to pick up the order, CJ was bagging it up, and thanked us sincerely for the order, and then carried it out to the car for me, as well. It’s summer at the shore, and I can’t imagine how exhausting that has to be for local businesses, but especially for a little business starting up, where the owners are working their butts off to make it happen. To have them really care about their customers AND their food, all at once… It makes me wish that I could give an extra credit star to really set them apart. Instead, I’ll just settle for making sure we give them our business at least once a trip, and encourage everyone else to do the same. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Crabcake sliders were tasty, w real nice lumps of crab meat. Not cheap, but definitely worth the expense. Fries with sea salt were also very good. Cool place that got it right for SIC. Well done. Next time I’ll try the ahi tuna slider and some sushi:)

really Unilocal,Can a guy go on vacation and make a review??? every time I review an awsome place thats not in Philly I get shit canned. Well this place is so good that I’m gonna keep writing reviews and updating till it sticks. Sypher that Unilocal computers. This is my previous review. Amazing sliders and fries, but the crabcake slider is out of this world. We’re on vacation and have eaten here at different points of each day. Will be trying the chicken slider tonight, and maybe just maybe the sushi delivered to me on the beach for lunch tomorrow. It is an unassuming window on landis next to the liquor store and is run/owner by a veteran lifeguard to the area. Cool guy, cool idea, and some of the fastest and best grub on the island. Oh did I mention that it is open until like 3AM everynight. nuff said!
