Great dinner. There was a long line but the company and the music made it pass quickly. Also the staff brought us French fries with old bay to snack on along with a bucket of ice for our beer and wine. Delicious dinner! Fun night.

We’ve been going here for years because I really love the atmosphere, but considering the high prices, the food is just okay. Crab legs are good and the flounder is decent, but the crab cake sandwich is literally inedible(mushy and all filling).

Are you kidding me. Hundreds of sea isle times in your store and every one had your whooping ten percent coupon cut out? I’ll go to Marie’s thanks

I have been getting takeout from Mikes for many years — Always good and the order is always correct.

Meh… not sure what all the commotion is about… average food for the shore. My salmon was over cooked, rice was hard, and the lobster was over cooked… not homemade cole slaw… so…meh…just meh…

This is about the seafood takeout shop, not the restaurant. Went there yesterday to get shrimp. I was slow on the uptake in ordering and didn’t notice the prices are on the shrimp. Then some rude nitwit employee started screaming at me about the prices being right there. And all of a sudden the whole place went quiet and was filled with tension. Really? Screaming at a customer who’s just trying to order? I guess the guy is not happy with where he is in life at his age. Anyway… If you prefer not to deal with an asshole, buy your seafood elsewhere.

Was in for dinner while on vacation Memorial Day week. Amazing food. Huge portions. Great prices. Owners are super nice and greeted everyone like family. Love the atmosphere sitting on deck. Cool breeze, sun setting, drinking beers with my friends. Shrimp, scallops, lobster, crabs… all so so so good. Great night! I will definitely be back again.

Food — LOVEIT. Crab balls are amazing. Although, the first time I went there, we had to order from inside and it was a bit cheaper and for some odd reason, tasted better, because coming the second time around, I ordered pretty much the same thing my sister had the first time we went and it wasn’t as tasty(but still very yummy!!) Btw, it was the snow crab legs with shrimp and coleslaw and corn platter. My boyfriend had the fish with crab parm and it was such a HUGE meal ! It was super duper delicious we wanted to finish it but just couldn’t. It could seriously feed two adults and two children. Lol. The fire? mussels were good, but too tomatoe-y for my taste. The clams in garlic butter is to die for !!! Super yummy and they made the perfect garlic butter. Not too salty and definitely garlicky and buttery lol. I have been here four times in 2 weeks ! It started to hurt my pockets so that is the only reason I pulled back a little LOL Service — everyone is very down to earth and helpful. An older gentleman is ALWAYS there to answer any questions(unsure if he is part of the ownership, but he def puts pride in the customer service). Old bay, hot sauce, forks, spoons, all in one section where you can help yourself which I love ! Makes me feel at home lol . Bugs, insects, etc will definitely be hanging around because it is on a dock, but SOWHAT ! It’s nature. Let’s not trip over these minor things and enjoy the major thing: the food !

An absolute rip off. Extremely high priced and Fraudulent. The crab imperial is a crab cake and the scallops are some kind of mush ball breaded and deep fried disguised as scallops. The staff seems in on the charade. If you must go to Mikes, stay away from everything breaded and fried. Sad to say because we have been loyal mikes goers for more then a decade. Mikes is all about taking your money.

This is one of my favorite seafood restaurants down the shore. The line is always long, but it moves pretty quickly. We went last night, they had live music set up outside and even came out to give people old bay fries as we waited for a table, which made the time go by faster. It’s also BYOB, so make sure to come prepared with a cooler! The seafood is awesome, so many options and fairly large portions. Very excited to come back for more this summer!

The lines are pretty long, and we ended up waiting almost an hour to get to the front of the line. There were live musicians making the wait going faster though. The bread they give you at the beginning is kind of chewy, but it really depends on there person. The food takes a long to arrive though, because they are making fresh to the order. We ordered the scallops from hell, calamari, steamed clams, fries, and crab balls. The crab balls were quite nice and came in quite a good quantity. When they say scallops from hell, they are not kidding. I grew up eating spicy food and the food in the US usually isn’t spicy by my standards, but this was a completely different story. The rest of the food was okay and nothing that special. Overall it was pretty okay.

Portions are way too small for the price. Very disappointed. Spoke to the manager and he effectively shrugged his shoulders. Not inpressed. Not coming back

today me and and girl friend went down to the Sea Isle city to seek for an adventure and some good food. We saw people carrying brown paper bag with their orders and their happy smiles walking down the street and passed us. We knew we wanted to stop by there. Looking at the menu, it had some typical stuff but some were really unique.(like the crab balls) The cashier was really helpful and we ordered the lobster special, crab balls, mussels and fried shrimp with cheese. We decided to sit on the docker by the water view. I think they were doing something so there were some plastic wrapper blocking the view. Food came shortly after we ordered. Their mussels were AMAZING!!! it was really fresh and the size was decent too. We got it with the white sauce and it was so buttery! The lobster and fried shrimp were alright. I am a fan of the crab balls. It was fun to eat and pretty tasty too. Overall, I would love to come back and bring other people with me to enjoy their food and good atmosphere.

For me, Mike’s Seafood is really the perfect place for a casual evening dinner down the shore. Check out their menu because it is HUGE. There is truly something to fit whatever you are in the mood for, and plenty more to come back the next night(and the next and the next) to try out different things. The man went with the enormous fried seafood combo(clearly fried and golden and perfect), and I picked around the menu with the jerk shrimp, old bay fries, and cole slaw. The shrimp were perfect and just the right amount of spice, the fries were abundant, and the cole slaw was just the right balance of sweet and tart. The seating is family style, so pull up a bench with some friends or make new ones, and it’s BYOB so HOORAY! Also it’s good to note that you order at the counter and they bring your food to the table, so it’s perfect if you have a large group and folks want to pay separately. It was pitch dark, so we didn’t get to see the view, but I bet on a lovely sunny day it’s just perfect.

I like this place alot! I think it’s just the casual vibe and being next to the water. Came here for lunch at around 2 p.m. so it wasn’t crowded. Service was extremely fast and friendly. The clams in white wine sauce was really fresh and the butter sauce was so good that I ended up dipping my crab legs in it instead. Snow crab legs were ok and the clam chowder was solid. Would definitely return for the clams. BYOB!

First time at Mike’s seafood and it was pretty damn good. Being a Saturday night on LDW, I knew we were gonna wait in line a while so that wasn’t surprising. This place is byob so my group of 7 opened our drinks while waiting in line. It was also pretty awesome how they came around with old bay fries for those waiting… delicious. Once we got in and seated, we ordered the claims casino, crab balls and mozz sticks. All were really good! I ordered linguine with scallops and jumbo shrimp in a butter wine sauce for dinner. It was really good, big portion, my only gripe was that my scallops were way over cooked. Besides that, all of the food was delicious. Great local spot right on the bay!

Visitors to the shore often find their way to the atmospheric Fish Alley quarter of Sea Isle City. They are in search of fresh seafood in bayside surroundings. And perhaps the best place to do this is at Mike’s Seafood. This over-the-water eatery is the most friendly of all the Fish Alley restaurants. That all stems from the congenial family who still owns this restaurant after three generations. Though Mike’s is a sit-down restaurant with attentive service, your meal begins by ordering at a counter. You tell them your table number and everything proceeds from there. On Wednesdays they have a 15 dollar lobster dinner which is an amazing value buy. It’s also tasty! A tip — Mike’s Seafood is a great restaurant for kids. So if you are ever in the vicinity of Fish Alley. head on over to Mike’s Seafood!

My boyfriend and I were looking to find the best seafood in town, and Mike’s seafood did not disappoint! We went on a Sunday a little before noon. I was hesitant to go after reading all the reviews about the long lines, but most people claimed that it was worth it so we gave it a shot. When we arrived, there was actually no line but it started to fill up quickly after we had ordered our food. The atmosphere was great, we sat on the dock right next to the water! There was a nice breeze every once in awhile and the dock was covered, providing nice shade from the sun. The restaurant also has a few fans stationed on the ceilings for the inner tables. The service was good, they were prompt about taking any dishes we had finished and checked up on us every so often. We also didn’t wait too long for our orders. Now to the most important part! The food! We ordered a dozen oysters, ceviche, the back bay bomb, and a lobster roll. We noticed that we had only received 11 oysters but after we notified the staff, we were given 2 extra for the mishap. The oysters were fresh and meaty! The shrimp and scallop ceviche was a little disappointing bc it was drenched in too much lemon, but the quality of the seafood in it was good. The back bay bomb and lobster roll was phenomenal! Overall, it was a little pricey but the quality of everything made it worthwhile. I definitely would suggest to share a sandwich if you are going to get so many appetizers and the bread/crackers they give you! If I ever visit sea isle again, I would come back here!

In the past we have always been impressed with the food. However, this time we all got the wrong order, the food was all cold and the portions we abysmal. The potatoes are undercooked and after waiting for 45 mins and paying nearly $ 30 each, we really expected more. How sad… We will not be ordering nearly every night like we did last year.
